    Dr. ALPERT MATTHEW R OD
He is a thoughtful nice man.  He is reasonable and it is a family business. He's been around forever.  they are super professional and I have no problems.  You can take your old glasses then they will recycle and they give it to people who can't afford new glasses.

I have a great experience. They are completely up to date on equipment and have all the recent eye tests. They have a vast variety of eyewear, the doctors are very professional and the staff all knows what to do.

    Ferzaad Moosa MD
I've had terrible vision since childhood and have had to wear glasses and contact lenses for the last 35 years.  I had a LASIK consultation about 10 years ago (with a different LASIK provider) and at the time I was told that I wasn't a good candidate for the procedure so I dismissed it as an unrealistic option to correct my vision.  Over the last year my contact lenses have been getting progressively more uncomfortable so I decided to at least look into corrective vision surgery options again and found Dr. Moosa on the list of approved vision correction centers on my vision plan.  After reviewing multiple online reviews sites on Dr. Moosa and other providers I decided to at least look into LASIK again and set up a consultation appointment with him in late July.
Dr. Moosa and his staff were very good about walking me step-by-step through the pre and post procedure surgery process, setting realistic expectations, and detailing out the total cost of the procedure.  As a result, I scheduled my LASIK procedure for the following week with Dr. Moosa.  The procedure went smoothly with only minor discomfort and outside of extremely dry eyes and a twinkling effect when I looked at lights at night for a couple of weeks there were no real side effects afterwards.  Before the procedure, Dr. Moosa told me that based on my pre surgery vision level, 20/25 was probably the best result to expect which was in line with my vision using glasses anyway.  As of my 6 month check-in exam, my vision has actually gotten to 20/20 so in my specific case, Dr. Moosa actually overdelivered on expected results.

One other thing to note is that during all of my visits pre and post procedure with Dr. Moosa, his staff have always been very flexible in scheduling and since I usually arrive early to appointments (unpredictable valley traffic) they have always taken me in early and started the exams promptly.  For anyone that goes to doctors regularly this is a really nice change from having to wait well past your appointment time to be seen.  In my experience, Dr. Moosa's staff seem to do a really good job on spacing out appointments.
Overall, if I had to do it again, I would definitely have the LASIK procedure done and would highly recommend Dr. Moosa to anyone looking to have their vision corrected.

    Davidorf Eye Group
    I had
Cataract surgery with Dr. Davidoff, Jr. at the end of 2013. He
also did a close-up lens for my left eye and a distance one for my right
eye. He was very optimistic it would improve my vision
greatly. Unfortunately, after 4 weeks of recovery, my right eye vision was still
blurry. Dr. Davidorf early on said dont worry I can always fine
tune the distance eye with Lasik. I had
several visits during that time and each time, I was never able to see him and
was only treated by his associate and I kept telling her its getting
more blurry each week, but she kept saying you can see the letters and I kept
saying but they are blurry and ignored my concern. My last visit was again with the assistant
and she said the Dr. will explain. I
told him that my right distance lens is only slightly focused about 3 or 4 feet
out and the rest was all out of focus about as I had before surgery. After all, before my surgery, I never needed
glasses to drive or play racquetball or other sports. He then proceeded to explain why my eye was
not focused. When I asked about the
fine tuning of Lasik he just kept explaining and skipped around my question.
He became frustrated when I didnt take to his explanation, accusing me of not
listening; after all, I came to hear what we can do about it not why its ok to
still have blurred vision. His final
statement was if you need to see things with more detail you need to get
glasses. Not what anyone wants to hear
who paid to not have glasses.
In good conscience I could not recommend his
office to anyone after this ordeal.
Your eyes are too precious to be having major
surgery with anyone but the best. Go to
an expert at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute I cant say enough about their expertise
    and top rated doctors.

    Richard Yook MD
It went extremely well.  I didn't have to wait long, although it took a while to get my eyes dilated, and he gave me a full examination and found that my prescription needed to be updated.  I'm seeing much better now!  I'm glad I went to Dr. Yook.  I would HIGHLY recommend him as an Ophthalmologist!

    Rishko, Dr. Richard J.
I have been going to Dr. Rishko for at least 15 years. I am very near-sighted, yet Dr. Rishko is able to find me contact lenses with my high prescription(about -12 in one eye, and -11.50 in the other eye). He is friendly and polite and patient with you in answering any questions that you may have. His staff is very knowledgeable about the right type of eyewear for you. I take my 11 year old daughter there, and I can't tell you how many times his staff has repaired my daughter's "indestructible" glasses for no charge.

    Minie, Dr. Stevin
I see Dr. Minie at West Valley Optometry.  I have a particularly difficult situation because I have a corneal problem and what I like about Dr. Minie is that he gets the job done right.  He seems to go the extra mile as it takes a little more for my service and takes a little more time for what I do and not many doctors can do what Dr. Minie did for me.  The service is always great.  The staff is fantastic.  He is always tries to get the best prices for my contact lenses and me.  I can always get an appointment when I need it.  His prices are good and he is very responsive.  I have been seeing him for ten years and the experience has been excellent.  What I really like is that I can count on him to get the job done right.  He takes very good care of his patients.  I have been to other eye doctors that really didn’t seem to know what they were doing, that would rush one in and out, but Dr. Minie gives me all the time I need in an appointment.  He always works with the insurance companies to get me the best prices.  He just goes out of his way to make sure that his customers are happy, he and his staff.  I wouldn't trust my eyes to anybody else.

    Ophthalmology Associates of the Valley
After my cataract surgery I need no glasses. I had it set up as monovision, however. I read with my left eye and distance vision is with my right eye. Close to 20/20 with my right eye. All is good. Has been 1 year now since the surgeries.

Dr Kathryn Fallon & Dr Wendy Lit Optomotrists
I have been going to this practice for over 20 years and cannot say enough good things about both doctors as well as the office staff. I am always greeted by name by the smiling, cheerful staff, and made to feel like a valued patient. The eye exam is thorough and Dr. Lit takes as much time as needed. I have never felt rushed. She is knowledgeable and explains things clearly.
