AIt is a new facility and they have done a really nice job on the remodeling, so it is a nice place to go to. The rooms, the equipment is all new and it is really close to where I live, which I like. This is a new location so they are pretty available for new patients. The communication is good and the billing is great.

AThey surgery was a 2-part outpatient process. They were very honest about how much pain I could expect from the surgery. They were all top-notch. My anesthesiologist sat with me for half an hour to make sure I recovered from the surgery. Just imagine 10 times the top service you would get anywhere else, pre-surgery, post-surgery, someone was always there. I've been in other hospitals for various things but I was just shocked at how great I was treated.

FEvery doctor that was a member of PAMF that we had the misfortune of using had poor ethics and no concern for the patients. The doctors never stayed long enough with the patients and are switched out without giving their business cards so that they cannot be identified by the patients. Their only interest was putting in the time and getting credit for seeing you. They pass the responsibility on to other doctors like they were playing musical chairs. They prescribe medicine and do not follow up with the pharmacy. I have not received medicine because the doctor said they cannot justify to the pharmacy why it is needed. They do not give answers to your questions and say it is not in their responsibilities. When they suspect they have made an error, they try to cover it up by ordering more tests after the fact so that they can show they are trying to help when it is obviously too late for the patient. I had osteoperosis for over 8 years without a bone density test. While I was in the hospital having spinal surgery for fractured vertebraes, the doctor made a referral for a bone density test and continually called my home 5 times. While I was bedridden at home with extreme back pain, doctor refused to give orders for emergency medical transportation and xrays because she said it was not necessary. I had to look on the internet for another doctor to see for the fractured spine. After I was sent home for recuperation, I received a 5 page survey form in the mail to fill out for a PAMF doctor that only saw me for 15 minutes. It will take longer than 15 minutes for me to fill out the form than the time the doctor spent in seeing me. I tossed it out. This is just one of many examples of the self serving ethics of the PAMF.

ARichard Whyte MDDr. Whyte saved my life 10 years ago when a doctor made a mistake. It almost killed me and Dr. Whyte is the one who saved me by doing an emergency surgery. I was in coma for 8 weeks and in the hospital for 6 months. His part was really finished after the surgery, but he used to come back to check on me and used to say hello because he thought that I was such a miracle case. I had infection throughout my body (global sepsis) and the chance of survival was like one percent. So he didn?t expect me to live and he was bringing other doctors to show them that I was alive. He was terrific and pretty special since he saved my life. His bedside manner was excellent. He treated me with respect. He talked to me like an intelligent adult human being. He listened when I talked to him. He took it seriously when I asked him questions, and answered them completely. He had another doctor working under him who was really terrible and very disrespectful. So I talked to Dr. Whyte about him and I never saw that doctor again. Dr. Whyte could have just apologized to me about the other doctor and let it slide, but I knew that he was going to act on it. I knew that I could rely on him to do something about it. I'll never forget him, because he gave me back my life.- Diana C.

ANorthern California Medical Associates, Inc.I am confident in his skills, knowledge, and degree of caring. He was excited to see that my test results were so good and gave me the go-ahead for surgery (which was very successful). I will gladly keep him as my cardiologist and am so happy that I got such a good referral to him. I thought my doc in Washington was the best, but he is being given a run for his money by Dr. Hopkins. Karen Averitt- Karen A.
