    Chandler's Plumbing
I have used Chandler's Plumbing several times for small things (toilet valve type of stuff) and also big projects (replacing water heaters). They have always been professional, thorough, and competitively priced (though not very punctual). The price always ends up as quoted or very close. Most recently we had an issue with a leaking water heater that resulted in some mold growth/drywall damage. Ishmael was able to quote a complete solution (mold remediation, drywall repair, replace water heater and leaking valves), meaning I didn't have to reach out to multiple companies and try to coordinate all their schedules together. After I pointed out that his workers tracked dirt all over the carpet, Ishmael immediately offered to pay to have the carpets cleaned (i.e. he took responsibility rather than making excuses). I would absolutely recommend them for any plumbing project, big or small.

REWARD FOR TOY CAP PISTOLS Offering a $500 reward for the return of a pair of matching toy cap pistols removed from my home by a burglar masquerading as a house painter. I was paying this guy to repair and paint a dry wall in the living room while he was "ripping-me-off," removing these and other items from my house while also breaking the faucets in the bathtub, not knowing I was watching him, who then charged me to repair the faucets. The cap pistols have great sentimental value but I am only able to offer $500 for their return. They were manufactured circa 1955 by Hubley Inc. and are replicas of flintlock pistols of the 18th Century. The barrels are "over-under" on each pistol and the hammers are side-by-side on a chrome metallic receiver. The body under the barrels is of brown translucent plastic and the grips are a "bird's-head" style by design. One "bird's-head" handle is broken on the right-side and a piece is missing in the the shape of a curved capital letter "M" with the sharp-pointed center of the "M" sticking out into the palm of the right hand. The "painter," Altay Kugay Gonzalez, aka Altay Kugay, aka Altay F. Kugay, aka Altay F. Kugaygonzalez, and even, aka Al the Painter, dba New Image Painting, lived in Los Gatos in the area of Harwood Rd. and Los Gatos-Almaden Rd., and bought his painting supplies at Campbell Av. and San Tomas Aquino Rd. at Kelly-Moore Paints, where Al was promoted to me by employees M. Johnson and L. Munoz as being a reputable painter. They forgot to tell me he was also a burglar. I wonder what they got out of the deal. Gonzalez used aliases and was an unlicensed contractor although his business card said he was licensed, according to the District Attorneys Office. The toys have probably been sold by now by Al the Painter to "powder-his-nose," and could be anywhere, as could he, unless, of course, hes in the penitentiary, again. Do not hire Gonzalez for anything or you will regret forever having met this bum as you kiss your valuable possessions goodbye!

    Pacific Drywall & Painting Inc
We had to cut open a ceiling to do plumbing work in the bathroom upstairs. After the plumbing work we had to fix the ceiling, so that's where this company comes in. The repair went very well. The drywall guy patched the hole & re-textured the ceiling so well that we couldn't tell there had even been a hole there. He repainted it and now you can't tell there was ever a problem.

    Precision Built Construction
The project went really well. Jason within a phone call away for most of the project, and was able to relay our requests to his sub-contractors. He was able to finish the project in time and with a high standard of quality. Right from the initial interaction, to his sensible prices, to the actual project and ensuring you're taken care of, to final touches, we had a great time working with him. To this day, people who come to my house can never tell that my combined living and family rooms were ever two separate rooms at one point :)

Carlos arrived on time, worked neatly, professionally, efficiently, steadily and carefully, with great attention to detail. He used good judgment on when a second coat was needed, and even took down and put back up the window blinds, which made the painting of the window frames both more accurate and more efficient.

    GoodFellas Construction
From the start everything seemed great. I got a call from some very nice ladies from their corporate offices asking about what we needed, our budget, etc...They asked for days/times I would be available and set me up with a project manager. They called to confirm the day before he was supposed to come and again confirmed what I was looking for. On the initial visit the project manager was over 40 mins late bc he had the wrong address, no big deal but I verified my address with the office the day before. The project manager was thorough, and walked us through each of the projects we wanted to get done. He told us it would take about a week for him to come up with an estimate and he would schedule a time to come back and go over it with us. Corporate called and followed up to make sure everything went well and to see if we got an estimate. I had a couple of email conversations with the project manager to set up a time, but his responses were delayed, had misspelled words, and sentences I couldn't understand (was definitely typing on a phone and wasn't reading what he was sending) again, no that big deal, but he blamed me for not getting back to him in time for an appointment we tried to schedule even though he took a week to respond, and we finally scheduled one for the following week. We even confirmed the week of the visit, and when the day came he never showed. I took off work, and waited around all afternoon. I emailed and called as to what happened and to maybe reschedule and to this day I've never heard from him or corporate. It's been 4 weeks.

    NULIGHT SOLUTIONS
It's really hard to get a hold of someone. They don't let you know that they won't call you back until late in the day. I had to make several calls, left messages and was told I would be called back, When I finally got through to them and set up the first estimate, the installer came out and did a pretty good job of identifying what work would need to be done. He told me to call the company back and set up an appointment for him to install the sun tunnel. When I was able to set up an appointment, they sent the same worker out to give me an estimate after I had ALREADY had an estimate from them. He said they couldn't actually do the installation that day because he was scheduled to give estimates all day. I called the company three times in one day and they finally called me back late in the evening. We worked out a time and when the worker finally showed up to do the work, he told me that my estimate was wrong and that I would have to pay more money. When I spoke to the owner about this, he didn't seem interested in retaining my business and didn't express any interest in addressing my concerns.

    Randy Silvestro Inc General Contracting
Randy is very meticulous. He suggested some undercounter LED lights. Based on some previous experiences suggested muted lights so The brightness would not bounce off the granite. Randy has great attention to detail And I would use him again and again.
