    Blueriver Plumbing, Inc.
I found Blueriver Plumbing on Angie's List. I called and Demian answered while driving to a job in Temecula. He had worked in my condo complex before and explained that because of the small housing built into the deck for the tankless heater that I only had a couple of options. I wanted to be able to use smart technology to turn my water pump on from my phone. He was able to explain that the pump was separate so I didn't need a smart heater. He provided options, went out and bought the new heater, let himself into my condo through a lock box, and had the repair nearly done by the time I made it home. When I arrived, he efficiently helped me set up my new wifi connection to my pump and ensured it worked. Throughout the whole process his communication was clear and thorough and his service was excellent.

    Water Heaters Only, Inc
The installation went incredibly smooth and was completed quickly. I was fortunate to have Chris Scovilie do the work for us. Chris was the rare contractor to actually completely satisfy me. I am very particular and pay attention to all details. Well, I met my match in Chris. He was also a perfectionist. I would recommend Water Heaters Only very highly.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE "A" RATINGS as I was, take time to read the reviews by the members.
My tenant called to inform me that the water heater was leaking and of course it happened on a Sunday. So, off to Angie's List I went to find a reputable plumbing company that could go out and fix the problem. The first company I called was unable to send anyone out until Monday. No good for the tenants, they need hot water. The next company to call, going down the list of 'A' reviews, was Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air. They had 'A' ratings down the board; except for price, which is a 'B'. I thought "all A's and a "B" in pricing is fine, they might be a little high, but I need the work done for my tenants to have hot water.
When the plumber (Alex) got there and assessed the problem, the water heater had failed, he called and gave me two quotes for the installation of a new water heater. He also provided a quote for the temporary water heater to provide hot water to the tenants . The first quote for a 40 gallon deluxe water heater (which I didn't choose)  was quoted at $2232. The other one, a standard  40 gallon water heater (which I did choose) was quoted at $1757. The price included 5 years parts and labor, 9 year tank warranty,  1 annual tune up and city permit and inspection. The installation of the temporary water heater was quoted at $578. The quotes did seem high, but not knowing anything about water heaters or the cost of replacing them and the urgency of having hot water for the tenants, I decided to go with Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air.
The next day after doing some research on the internet and calling several other "A" rated companies on Angie's list; it is overwhelmingly apparent that they do overcharge for the installation of water heaters. The range of removing, installing and getting the water heater permit from the city was from $945 to $1398. The only difference in the product was in the warranty, they provide a 9 year warranty and the other companies provide a 6 year warranty.  The owner (Mary Jean Anderson) in her rebuttals about high prices tries to justify the high cost  due to overhead, i.e., trucks fully equipped, 2 million in liability insurance, tracking their technicians, etc. Personally; as a customer - all I am concerned about is finding a company that provides a good product at a reasonable and competitive price.
I did contact a manager (Devon) at Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air. Super nice guy, listened to my story and defended the pricing of replacing the water heater with the same material as the owner.  He did graciously offered $200 off the price. At the end of our conversation he did state that he would like to receive a good review but  that the company could absorb a bad review.
Overall:  C rating, the pricing drags down the rating while the responsiveness and Professionalism brings it back up.

One final note: If someone asks me to recommend a plumber, the first words out of mouth will be "Don't Call Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air, they charge too much".

    Jones Plumbing Service Co

Service was superb and prompt. The water heater was installed the next day after I requested the installation. I had to special order the sink, due to nonstandard size of kitchen counter. Once I got the sink, the installation was completed the next day. Service was professional and completed in a reasonable amount of time. Fees for the service was very reasonable.

I will use Jones Plumbing Service anytime I need plumbing done in my house.

    Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air
They were amazing. Anderson came out the same DAY we called (and it wasn't an emergency). They sent Jerry, who was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He cleaned out the space where the old water heater was, installed the new one and left everything so neat and clean. He was very patient with our questions, and it was just a terrific experience. We can't recommend them highly enough!

Other than not having a part on the truck and therefore needing to return, the service went very smoothly. I am thrilled to have our new Toto toilet. It was not as expensive as I feared but it is just as wonderful as everyone had told me.

First the earthquake shut-off and then the work on the water heater.  There always seems to be something that can be repaired.  And it seems that the prices are very hight after ten years of not having any work done.
