    My company is due a full refund from AdvantEdge for services that were paid for but never actually completed. I paid AdvantEdge $775 over the course of 3 weeks to complete pre-agreed upon accounting services, none of which were completed. We terminated our relationship with AdvantEdge on 9/28/18 due to their inability to complete these services within the timeframe and budget that had been provided. Furthermore, AdvantEdge in their invoice, attempted to charge double the rate ($125.00) for the services that they had previously provided to us (62.50) without prior communication of the rate increase. We have received 1 refund check from them for $112.49, followed by a 2nd refund check for $203.12 but have had no response to our multiple attempts to collect the $459.39 that is still owed. I am currently pursuing legal action to get our money back.

    It was incredible. Fred is the BEST!!! I have Lyme disease and have been sick for a little over 3 yrs. This should have been written 2 years ago however I was so sick I couldn't figure out how to sign on. He came to my house to do everything I needed! It was such a relief to get this done. I have referred many over the past 2 years but not sure if anyone followed thru.

    Coastal Hauling and Junk Removal
    I recently moved and had a ton of stuff I did not know what to do with. The main thing I needed hauled was a dryer that no longer dried. I called Coastal Hauling and set an appointment with them for the following day. They showed up on time, removed the dryer, and even took some of my kids old toys to the Salvation Army. It was refreshing to deal with such a professional local business. The price was fair and the service was great.

    Nick's team was awesome. Great communication as to work days and scheduled times and like clockwork they always arrived when promised. Professional, thoughtful and meticulous. There were a lot of steps from removal, disposal, receiving of new material, etc. where things could have gone poorly, but all worked out great because of the care and attention the job received. I'm very happy with the results and would use Nick and Dragon Roofing again. Highly recommended.

    I elected to use a monthly ( 4 visits) service ; It went well with the caveat that I thought the efforts to locate the entry access to the attic could have been more aggressive since I cannot personally access the attic to investigate. I am still evaluating permanent - elimination- at this time.

    I loved all of her ideas! I was shocked how my bedroom was completely transformed by just changing wall color and bedspread cover.It was a whole new look without paying a high price. She also helped me pick wall colors throughout my whole house that made my favorite furniture pop. She also suggested a few furniture changes that enhanced my lifestyle with better storage and an updated look. I like to have a unique look. Not just something that looks like everyone else. I like how Alicia listened to my goals and got a feel for my style. Then she did the research to find unique items in my price range that worked for me. She gave me several options and ideas and also included pictures of "inspiration." Design rooms that were somewhat over the top but gave me an idea of how far I could go with a look. I plan to use Alicia again in the future.

    We scheduled an appointment with All American Design to have someone come out and talk to us about our roof. They sent out a nice man named Doug. We appreciate the time Doug took talking with us and making us feel comfortable with his company and how they were going to reroof our home. He made sure we understood the whole process and what to expect.

    Although Doug took the necessary time to make us feel confident that his company would do a good job, we have had other contractors make us feel good before. We were pleasantly surprised with the follow through. The roofing crew was professional and hardworking. They worked quickly but still paid attention to the details. They cleaned up after themselves every day and when they finished, it was like they were never here, except that we had a new roof.

    A few weeks after the job was done, I noticed a piece of flashing on the side of the roof that was stained or scratched. I was ok with it but my wife insisted that we call to have it replaced, these type of things really bother her. We called and the next day two workers came out and replaced the piece of metal. We have never had a contractor come back out at no charge after we paid them the final amount. This company really cares. We have recommended them to everyone we know. Hands down the only contractor we will use in the future.

    This is the 2nd year I've had Steve do my taxes, as they became too complicated for me from an inheritance.  I tend to get high anxiety over taxes anyway, and keep putting it the back burner and procrastinate.  He gave me a nice gentle reminder this year, got me an extension in about 5 minutes.  This allowed me to relax enough to get papers in order and filed on time, since I was unsure if I owed or not.
    Last year he took a huge pile of paper work and made sense of it all in a short time and I'm sure saved me a lot of $$  This year he got me a very very nice refund :-) in about 24 hours after I dropped off paperwork.
    He's always quick to respond to emails, always so very nice and reassuring, it's like a huge weight is off my shoulders.
    I really cannot thank him enough.

    I first went to Angie's List and made a request for the date of service, but then since it was close to the week-end I called him directly and we made the appointment right then over the phone for Friday.
    Friday came and he arrived right on time ... I liked how he worked and how he was around me since he was very sociable and easy to be with during this time, which is something which I think is very important when we have someone coming into our homes.
    He carried out the work very quickly and easily, taking all of the food out of the freezer first and placing everything on the kitchen counter.  He defrosted the frozen water - ice - in the freezer - which was about two inches thick - with a steam defroster.  He also mentioned that using a hair dryer, as I had originally planned to do, would not have been a good idea since the hot air from it would likely melt the plastic in the freezer ... glad that I didn't do it!  After about 40 minutes he had everything defrosted and starting to put back together again.  When he was finished getting everything together - and looking behind the refrigerator to make sure that everything was all right there, he slid the refrigerator back into place and put all of the food back where it had originally been, saying that we should be careful not to cover the openings to the condenser which is on the back bottom part of the freezer, since this would not let the cold air move through the freezer the way that it should.
    After he had completed his job he showed me a small three inch piece of plastic, which must have come from a turkey or chicken wrapping, which possibly had been torn off and made its way to the drain where it blocked the water from going down the drain and thus caused the water/ice to build up each time the freezer defrosted, which he said cycled about every four hours.  Good to know ... not to let any pieces of thin plastic bag parts stay in the freezer or this could happen to you, too! 
    Altogether, an exceptionally easy and interesting time to watch him work ... he is very knowledgeable and he doesn't mind our asking him questions or watching him work - he actually said that it makes his time more enjoyable since it can be kind of lonely working by himself for so many hours.  He is the kind of person who seems to be at easy with people and is very likeable at the same time.  I will definitely use him again!
    As an addendum, the refrigerator didn't get cold enough the first night after he left, so I called him and he returned right away and fixed the problem, which was that somehow the fan wasn't working right, so he corrected whatever it was that caused it not to work ... and now we have had everything working since then.  Didn't take long this time ... only about 15 minutes.  And he wasn't in a hurry this time, either ... very pleasant!

    I met with Patrick about possibly managing my house in Oceanside. He was very punctual and professional. I decided to use another property management company in the end, but I was very thankful for Patrick's time and advice. He spent about 2-3 hours with me at the property and I really felt like he was knowledgeable about the property management business. Like I said, I decided to use another property manager in the long run, but Patrick was very understanding and did not begrudge me when I told him I'd decided to use another person's services. In the future, if I need a new property manager, I will definitely keep Patrick and Manager 4 Less in mind. They are very professional and competitive, only charging 6% of the rent collected for their fee.
