  • Perfectly. Had this company checkout old system. They did a check and little tune-up. Price excellent. Only when we mentioned old system seemed underpowered for size of house did owner agree. House built 20 yrs ago with bare minimum system. When we asked for info on a new system, he sat down same visit and provided everything to sign a contract for new Trane system. Started 9am Mon in time,ended 2 pm wed on time. This company was recommended to us by locals. Big plus no upselling. Straight shooter.

  • Allen Suetos of Gilmore arrived within one minute of the scheduled appointment time for a routine semiannual HVAC tuneup. Consistent with Gilmore service people in the past, he was friendly and professional, and came with a well equipped van. Allen was especially conscientious, thorough, meticulous and very technically knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing and showed me the findings as he went through the service procedure. I was especially impressed when he caught an intermittent system shutdown problem that might have been missed by a less thorough and rushed technician, and traced the cause to a failing overheating protection sensor.   • The techician Allen S was prompt and courteous. He gave a thorough explanation of how our aging heating and air unit was performing and diligently diagnosed the fault that was causing our heating to fail. A replacement part was ordered and installed just a few days later to resolve the problem. The day before the visits we were provided with confirmation by phone from the office staff that Allen would be arriving at the arranged times. All in all a satisfactory outcome.   • technician showed up and performed the cleaning that was needed which got the fireplace working. Part of the deal i purchased also included an inspection of the AC/Heater unit. Technician found a leak that was missed by another company. If i wasn't under contract with the other company I would switch to JR Putnam.

He also gave me some good information on additional maintenance that might be needed soon. I was impressed, and signed up for Gilmore's Service Club. I'll be calling Gilmore if we need additional repairs, maintenance, or a new system.

  • Excellent! I asked the technician if I could tag along while he did his inspection and he said certainly. He went through all the checks he was performing, usual problems encountered, acceptable limits, etc. It was a real education. The technician spent over an hour going through the unit and then provided me with report that summarized all the findings. I bought the Residential Energy Saving Tune-up Agreement for $138 for two service appointments to inspect the furnace and AC systems. No pressure to buy a monthly service plan that most other companies push. The only problem was that the technician was late due to a problems with a prior service call and wrong address. Professional, respectful and competent service!!!

  • It was good, I don't know if it was excellent but it was very good. 

    I've just got one question I've got to verify with them that is they installed a special kind of unit in my, heating unit upstairs and it included a high rate filter and my understanding was from one of their I don't know if he's a manager but anyway he was above the technician level and he told me that it would be a free filter and that's about a $80 filter and he said that it would be free, why I have my inspections I'm gonna set up an appointment here probably today or tomorrow and so I expect to get that thing for free and if they don't give it to me free then I'm gonna be calling the company and ask them why he told me that it was free and so I have some kind of discrepancy going on with that.
