Interior Painting reviews in Cambria

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • The staff at Rogall Painting were very professional. Juan who performed all the prep work was very conscientious, and kept the construction site debris at a minimum. We were unable to be there everyday, and felt comfortable enough with Juan to leave him a key. After the installation of our doors, we noticed that several doors had overspray on them. We contacted the office, and the next day Steve Rogall himself came to our home. He inspected the doors and found two others that did not meet his high standards. He was very concerned with customer satisfaction and quality of his work. When the doors came back from his shop they looked great. The prices at Rogall Painting were higher than other bids we received, but you get what you pay for.  Our cabinets look great.

After installation we discovered that several doors had over spray on them.  We contacted the office, and the next day the owner Steve Rogall came to our home . He personally inspected the doors and even sent back 2 others we hadn't noticed. Steve is very involved with the customers satisfaction. When they brought the doors back they looked great. Rogall was slightly higher for their bid, but you get what you pay for. The end product was beautiful and their customer service is great.

  • Bruce Owens Painting was on time, on budget, professional, and knowledgable.  The crew worked well together and did an excellent job on my house.  I'd definitely recommend them to my friends and family for a no hassle, excellent painting experience.

  • Experience; courtesy; product knowledge; color consulting; neat & clean; a great value - Bruce Owens Painting had it all.
I have had several homes painted in the past and the experiences have fallen short in one aspect or another. Not with Bruce Owens Painting. I was immediately impressed with Bruce's punctuality. When he said he was going to be there, he was. He helped guide me through the color selection process. Not an easy task. He was patient and able to steer me in the right direction by putting up samples and offering his expertise, but never tried to push something on me that I was unsure about. He was professional all the way.
The prep work; the prep work; the prep work. This is where past painters have most often fallen short. His team was meticulous about this crucial phase. Cleaning, sanding, caulking and priming. Every detail was covered. He didn't compromise when it came to product selection either. His motto was "Why would I do all this work and in the end use an inferior product? It doesn't make sense." Again, this was where his experience came into play. Another plus for me; at the end of each workday, the job site was left neat and clean - Professionals.
What I liked most was that Bruce was there every day to oversee the work. It gave me confidence that things were being done right. The end result was a beautiful paint job that will last and a pleasant experience.
I highly recommend Bruce Owens Painting for all your painting needs.

  • The initial job started out okay.  The painter and crew arrived on time and began work when they said they would.  They began by pressure washing the decks and sanding the interior and exterior of the doors.  The initial quote was to use oil paint on the doors, but the painter said that the fog would not allow it to dry, so he used latex instead.  He said that the sanding job they had performed would be sufficient to allow the latex to adhere properly to the doors.  The painting progressed, and we noticed that it wasn't particularly smooth, with a lot of brush strokes showing in the paint.  As the end of the job came near, we noticed more problems with the job, like poorly scraped windows in the french doors, and the tops of interior trim not being painted.  There was a lot of drips on the thresholds, etc, and a center aluminum strip between the french doors that was painted with latex had quickly began to peel.
We also found a patch of one of the decks not painted at all, and some mold and smoke residue that was quoted to be painted wasn't done at all, along with one interior door not painted as quoted.
When the painter was called on these issues, he did come back and strip most of the aluminum strips, leaving one on the main french door not stripped.  There are still several spots that need to be either scraped or touched up, but we paid the painter already, and the check cleared the same day, so we don't expect to be able to get him back any time soon.  We are just hoping that the paint stays stuck, we have already found a couple of bubbles on the interior trim that we will have to touch up.
It seems like it should be obvious that the painter will clean up well, and do the work quoted.
