  • Dr. Stetson seems nice, but to get to him you have to go through an office that is a MESS.  Not physically, but organizationally.  I spent an hour filling out forms on line before my appointment, then had to fill out MORE forms when I got there, and the receptionist actually said, "Let's see if we can find the forms he filled out on line."  Seriously?  They couldn't have prepared that for my appointment.  And there's the usual waiting around for the doc.  Then, because they're not in my plan, I had to set up my own MRI someplace that my union covers.  I spent half a DAY on the phone with their office, desperately trying to get them to fax my Rx for the TWO MRI's I needed.  Then, when I got to the MRI, they said they only got ONE.  I called the office and tried to get them to send it again, but they never did.  They said they send them electronically, and have no way of knowing if they go through.  Really???  How about a PHONE CALL to the MRI place?!  So I only ended up getting ONE of the needed MRIs.  Another wasted morning.  And when I called the office manager to complain, all he could offer up was, "sorry."  I suggested that maybe, since I've spent so much time on this, that they might be able to give me an MRI at 30% less - which is what my insurance WON'T cover.  But nope.  Seems they'd rather just lose a patient than do anything to make up for their blunders.  So long Dr. Stetson...  The "thank you" card was a nice touch after my first appointment, but it would've been better if your office had just done their JOB.

  •   I tore my right rotator cuff and tendons very severely.  I could not move my arm in several directions and was in constant pain. Dr Zoric of Stetson, Powell did an MRI of my shoulder and evaluated my injury.  He told me I would need surgery and about six months for full recovery. I was told that there is a possibility that I would not get 100% of movement back but I need surgery regardless.

The surgery went excellent and I was off of Pain pills within four days. I started physical therapy about a month later. The shoulder movement is excellent three months after the surgery and a full recovery is expected.
I would highly recommend Stetson, Powell.

  • I was given numerous x-rays to help pinpoint the problem.
He showed me what could be the cause of my pain, and how to go about treating it.
