When I had follow up questions, he was not only able to answer them thoroughly and knowledgeably. I felt that they are trustworthy and honest. He was very clear in making sure that I understood exactly what they were offering and clarified everything they were going to be done. The most interesting part was that at competing the job, he asked me to feel the A/C. It was clear cool, fresh smelling air. It provided me reassurance that they did the job well. I came to them looking just for the special offer, they explained the abatement, they provided me excellent customer service. The work done was excellent. You felt the difference after they left. I felt like I was in good hands and being well taken care of. Impressive presentation with impressive thoroughness. They walked me through what need to be done and how it was going was going to do it. You need to hire this young man.

Overall experience was great. After the mold was discovered our renovation contractor quoted us a ridiculously unreasonable price for the remediation, and Absolute was extremely responsive and professional and completed the job within a week of our first contact. The pricing was very competitive and the job was completed with very little disruption to our ongoing renovation. Great job!

Nir was very responsive and scheduled an appointment the next day, though we had to postpone because of heavy rains. He came out as soon as possible after that, which happened to be a Sunday. There were delays during the project (not unexpected), though it did seem to take a few weeks longer than would otherwise be expected. That being said, the work was great and Nir kept me informed throughout the whole process. He helped me understand my best options for waterproofing so I could make the most informed decisions. Great work!

It went well, Anthony and his son Richard arrived on time and were able to successfully inspect my home and determined where the mold was coming from. They also took both air samples and a swab test to send to a lab to have it analyzed. Once the results came in they were able to submit a report to me the the proper remediation process so I can submit it to the management company of the home. They were also available answer any question and concerns I had during the process.

We found that a transit pipe in our attic had been broken during a renovation before we moved in and were concerned that the house might contain asbestos contamination. Ashley came out on short notice, performed the inspection and collected samples of our roofing material for testing. She stated that since the transit pipe had been broken and not sawed off we probably would't have any asbestos fibers in the house. However my wife wanted to be very sure. So we paid the $400 for air sampling over the $350 cost for the inspection. Ashley got the samples tested and gave us a report in a day (we needed it as soon as possible) and I could;t be more satisfied with the service.

After reading the article about lead paint in older homes in the Angie's list magazine, I wanted to have my 1941 home checked. An air conditioner line leak in the attic had resulted in a water leak in one of my bedrooms. The leak was quickly repaired, however, the ceiling is in need of repair. didn't want that repair to begin until I was certain it was safe to move forward. I contacted Frank Najafi / Aardvaark via Angie's list in December, but due to the holidays, there was a bit of a wait until the analysis could be done. I am so glad I waited. Once we connected, Mr. Najafi was very professional, efficient, well-prepared, and thorough. He is not a contractor, so there is no bias. I now have a thorough report in hand and I feel greatly relieved to know my home environment is safe and good to go for the repair needed in the bedroom. The cost of the services was in line with the expertise I was hoping for. I highly recommend this service be performed by Mr. Najafi.

Yes, Mark, The Mold Guy did literally SAVE MY LIFE!!!  While performing a mold inspection and the testing service I'd requested on my tiny budget, he discovered that the true cause of the “sick building syndrome” in my apartment causing my hospitalization and failing health was not mold!!! It was caused by a construction flaw inside the Heating/Cooling HVAC system that was contaminating my apartment air with drywall particulate dust that can be a very serious health hazard.  This greatly helped me to recover my health with my doctor’s knowing what the cause was and how to treat these symptoms after the contamination was stopped!
NO OTHER INSPECTOR HAD LOOKED FOR NOR FOUND THIS TRAGIC FLAW!!!!  The apartment management had been using their, ”no toxic mold found,” reports to protect themselves, and would never have admitted to there being a problem if Mark had not volunteered his time to make an extra trip to explain this health hazard to the manager. He also made a second extra trip to explain this to the city building inspectors. His efforts forced the management to repair the HVAC toxic problem and stop the potentially deadly dust from continuing to polute my apartment and my respiratory system.
Mark Levi is one of the most selfless, “heroic” people I’ve ever met!  He has spent countless hours on the phone counseling me on how to deal with the landlord’s duplicity and coverup and how to find a reputable rendition company who would do a great cleanup job at a most reasonable price.
No, Mark does not do the remediation himself.  He does the pre testing to determine what needs to be done and the post clearance testing as a third party.  It is unethical for the remediation company to test it’s own work…  Mark will stand up for his sick clients and make sure their health hazards are cleaned up!!!!
Anyone who questions the prices for “just taking a few samples,” needs to read a mold lab report to realize that those prices include the very expensive outside laboratory testing of those samples.  I’ve compared the prices or other companies and the lab reports.  I’ve discovered that the really inexpensive testing companies are the ones that are hired by the landlords who want nothing to be found!  They want only very little, very careless testing done and few samples tested because the landlords or property seller DOES NOT WANT TO FIND ANY PROBLEMS!!!!
For my situation Mark did just enough testing to be sure there was not also a toxic mold problem as well as the drywall construction flaw contamination causing my life threatening asthma attacks and other lung irritants.
Mark truly did save my life. My worsening respiratory problems could very easily have been fatal if he had not taken the extra time and caring concern to search until he found the cause of my lung irritation!

Excellent! I can't say enough great things about his team. Although I only spoke with Alden over the phone, he was professional and efficient. He knew our complex and exactly the layout of our town home garage from experience. I booked the job over the phone and his guys arrived on time and finished on schedule. When they left, the garage looked great! No evidence of dust, water or material. It was like magic it all disappeared. They showed me the hazmat bundled stuff in their van and they hauled it away. About a month later I got a letter in the mail from the disposal site in AZ confirming it was received and disposed of properly.
Alden pulled the permits and did all the necessary paperwork. He's a pro! I'd use him again and have refered him to others in our complex.

We recently purchased an older home and were concerned that the flooring may contain asbestos.  As we want to replace the floors in the kitchen, we thought it would be a wise ideas to have the current and older flooring (contained underneath a newer plywood subfloor) tested before we started the project.  We found Frank on Angie's List and left him a message.  He called back that same day and was able to come out two days later - which was a Saturday!  Frank was on time, courteous and answered all of our questions.  He explained what he was doing as he went.  He ended up taking more samples than we originally thought but still gave us the price quoted.  Very nice of him!
We received our lab results back very promptly and Frank included an email with his analysis.  I did have to call him with a few questions about what the results said and he was very patient and thoroughly went over it with me.
Well - we started pulling up the floor about a month after we got our lab results and - lo and behold - we found another type of flooring!  So, we called Frank back and asked him if he remembered seeing this type of flooring and he suggested that we take another sample.  We agreed to be on the safe side.  Frank wasn't able to come out this time, but he sent one of his employees (whose name I can't remember.)  They fit us in so that we could work around the flooring schedule and the employee was just as nice and professional as Frank.  Frank did not even charge us for this second test because he said that our peace of mind was more important to him. How nice is that?
I very much recommend Frank and his company.  I thought they did a great job and were very professional and highly attentive to the needs of a worried new home owner!

We bought a house in 2011 and it has old duct work with Asbestos. The duct work was under the house. We were installing a new HVAC system and wanted to get rid of the Asbestos. I called Larry (and left a voice mail) after seeing the reviews on Angies List. He called me back with in few hours and he came the next day to give us estimate. He was on time, very professional. He spent 15-20 minutes with us, looked at the old ducts and provided us the estimate with Angies list discount.
One thing, we really liked about him was that he did not waste our time and he did not try to scare us (unlike some other vendors). He emailed us the written estimate with in 2 days and described all the work that he will be performing in his proposal.
His crew was on time on the day when the job had to be performed. They were very clean and professional. They finished the job in 4 hours. They also sealed the opening of the existing vents underneath the house.
Another noteworthy about this vendor is that they provided us the conditional release on the lien after we gave them a check. All Clear also sent us the complete Project report of the work that was performed along with the EPA and CA forms.
We were very happy and impressed with the services performed by Larry and his team.
