    Chapman's Legacy Plumbing
Kermit and his son showed up to my house on time to replace my (Tank type) hot water heater. They were friendly and very
efficient and didn't try to sell me anything I really didn't need. They gave me a discount as I removed the old hot water heater myself and had the area ready for them. They had the new hot water heater installed and completed within an hour. Their quality of workmanship and professionalism is top notch. I would definitely utilize them again in the future to provide plumbing services at my home.

Ace Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning
The price ranged from $300 - $700. Just coming out was $69 for 15 minutes and I know he will have to go under the house so we're looking at least $100 for just looking. I was looking for a more narrow estimate.

Ace Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning
Over Christmas we discovered a leak in my guest bathroom toilet. I was unable to determine the leak but assumed it came from my improper installation of the toilet a year earlier. So I turned here to Angie's List to find a plumber. One of the first things that showed up upon my search was a $75 special for this company. I figured 75 would be a good price for diagnosis and repair (assuming a simple fix of the installation). They were very prompt and courteous in setting up an appointment time. They gave me a two hour window of when the plumber would show up. Definitely a good appointment window.
The plumber arrived at 3, right in the middle of the 2-4 window I was quoted. He did call about 15 minutes out to let me know he was on his way. I really appreciated that. He arrived and quickly assessed that the toilet needed just needed a new wax seal. A job I could have easily done on my own, but he was the professional and would be quicker at fixing it. He then asked me to provide "old towels" for the water. That was okay, I understand that. It took him over 45 minutes to fix the toilet. Probably about the same time It would take for me. I remember when I installed the toilet, it took only an hour and half for removal of the old and installation of the new. But he was working alone. I get it would take some time. When he was done he went to settle the bill. I will admit this is the first time using a plumber so I am inexperienced with pricing but I was shocked I had to pay an additional  $50 for the service.
However, my toilet doesn't leak so I am happy. I really just marked down this company on its price. It might be fair, and I needed to read the fine print better but it was still a shock to me. Moral of the story for me, is to pay the $89 installation fee from Home Depot next time I purchase a new toilet.

    The Trenchless Co
This morning I called The Trenchless Co about my slow draining bathtubs and toilets, and they were able to make an appointment for the same afternoon with a narrow arrival window.  I received a call from the office when Steve was on his way, and he showed up promptly within the assigned window - extra stars for keeping me informed and showing up on time!
My roommate met Steve and he began the inspection, then called me for approval before starting work on the $99 clean out special advertised through Angie's List.  I was able to get away from the office near the end of the job and witness the final clean out and video re-inspection.  Steve carefully pointed out features of my cast iron plumbing which will require repair after additional years of corrosion and described future options, but did not pressure me to preemptively have my household sewer repaired.
While he was there, Steve also looked into a slow leak at the main water shutoff valve for the house, and explained options for repair and replacement.  He provided an estimate for this work as well.
Overall, this experience couldn't have been better.  Steve was punctual, professional, did a good job for a very good price, and was very pleasant to talk with as well.  From my point of view, The Trenchless Co lives up to the high ratings which lead me to hire them in the first place.  Thank you Steve!

    JRW Plumbing
The service was fabulous. We actually expanded what we were going to with them and they have been great. They redid our bathroom, reset the toilet, installed new tub/shower enclosure, retiled the floor and reset the plumbing fixtures. They are also replacing about 30 feet of drainage pipe that was leaking. We will be hiring them to redo all of the plumbing in our second bathroom. They really go the extra mile. They found a few things in the bathroom that were not right and did them without charging us. We have a comfortable feeling about them and they are honest and open. We really like working with them.

There was no additional cost as i recall if there were any up charges, it was minimal. I had trouble connecting with them initially, he seems very busy and I think he scheduled and then had to cancel and since nothing was leaking it was okay. I take a more relaxed view if it is something I am just doing because i need it to get done. But if there is something really dire then there is no cancelling on me. Responsive is the only thing I would grade down for.

He did what he said he was going to do. He did a very good job on it. He have a very difficult house because we have no attic. He went through the closet and he did a good job. He cleaned up afterwards. We had a heater put in at the same time so he was working with them. Part of the agreement between the two of them was that he would come back and do the patch up work on the drywall. He came in and did the patch up work and painted and he did a good job. We were a little taken back because we thought he would take a credit card but when he came in for payment, he wanted a check. It was a lot of money to put out when we were not expecting it. We can't remember if we asked him or not. He was very professional. The other thing was that he was supposed to give us a quote for a countertop and on that, he failed miserably. He didn't give us the quote and he didn't return our phone calls.

he called me back right away, scheduled the appointment promptly and arrived on time. He did a great job, was very professional and came back to fix a small leak at no charge. I would use him again for any household plumbing needs.

It went great. Jamie worked within the budget we had from what the insurance could provide, and was able to work in improvements at the same time. He figured out how to affordably re-configure the kitchen to be more efficient and accommodate modern appliances. The finished house was a dramatic improvement, especially the kitchen. The ceramic floors were reasonably priced, and looked great. No surprise charges, and the quality was really great for our limited budget.
