    My Move
Crew members were friendly but unprepared. The moving truck too small for my job. My garage was left behind. Contacted owner. He begrudgingly sent another crew 3 days later to move the garage, and this was after several phonecalls.

I interviewed a couple of companies and they seemed to be the most knowledgeable and supportive of my needs.  The workers were careful of my furniture and my things.  The gentleman who owned the truck and moved the stuff here I think sorted it all well and got it all to me, and I am not missing anything and nothing was broken.  I labeled everything myself; I made my own custom labels and inventoried myself, so I think that does make a difference because it was pretty easy for them to identify boxes were mine.  It's whatever you ask them to do, so there was no charge for special wrapping of mirrors and framed pictures.  I had them do some extra pieces that ended up having some more charges.

    Delicate Touch Moving

Tim and his crew were outstanding.  Despite being delayed by the breakdown of a crappy U-Haul truck, they arrived in good spirits and unpacked with efficiency and enthusiasm.  They took all the labeled boxes into the appropriate rooms and offered to set up our bed for us.  They packed that truck so efficiently, I was amazed.  We had a lot of art - pictures, paintings and glass and not one piece was damaged - in fact, not a single box even had a dent in it.

Tim was great about communicating with us about the logistics of the move as we were not able to be there to supervise the packing of the truck.  He is organized, efficient and delivers exactly what he promises - or more.  I would certainly use him again and would definitely recommend him and his crew to anyone, whether for a short or long haul move.

Two Men and a Truck - Pleasanton
This company is fantastic! While it was more costly than my daughter and I anticipated, it was worry free, well communicated and expedient! I think very highly of Mark, the owner and his staff. While my daughter moved into her first apartment after accepting her first job as a teacher and didn't have all that much furniture, the move required a pick up of a sofa from Livermore, then to Brentwood, then to Foster City. She had a huge sofa (7ft), a wooden bed frame, a portable, gas fireplace of which would not fit in the apartment building elevator, and she was on the third floor (HOLY COW!). The two men that loaded and unloaded were fantastic and friendly. They were awesome in bringing the things up the three floors and showed care in moving the sofa, in particular, into the tiny unit. It was later in the afternoon, and, of course, it was an extremely HOT day in Brentwood. My daughter is finishing up her Masters Education, and had class that day, so the pick up was at 1:00 in Livermore, and about 2:30 here in Brentwood. I wish I was a rich woman, these guys deserved a better tip than I was able to provide. Their attitude was positive, helpful, communicative, and gave advice and a free hand in putting things together.
Mark, the owner, and I had an uplifting conversation, and anyone looking for someone who of course is making a living, but also believes in the power of paying it forward, and showing kindness should choose Two Men and a Truck from Livermore. Let me just say that I was feeling very down about many things, mainly my daughter moving on in her own life and Mark lifted me through our conversation. As a teacher, it was uplifting to hear of a family that believes in the efforts and recognizes many things about the human condition and caring for our children (all kids, kind of the attitude of it taking a village), he literally brought tears to my eyes! He made sure I had his contact information and offered to contribute materials to my classroom when school resumes, I am so impressed in his willingness to help kids that when I sell this house (hopefully within the next couple of years) I will be happy to hire this company to help me move! BRAVO, Two Men and a Truck, I am happy to have made contact with you, and as I said during our conversation, thank you for lifting me, I hope to take that and offer the same to someone maybe feeling a little low in their life.
Another important thing to add to my experience is to let those of you out there know that Mark and his business are also contracting to help single parents make the move to independence after leaving terrible situations and starting anew. That alone, as a person with first hand knowledge of how difficult that can be, is a strong reason to recommend this company, they are in in to make a living, but they are also standing up to make a difference.
Thank YOU, Mark, and blessings to you and your success in this business, it was more than a pleasure, I am lifted when I think of your words the day my daughter moved out! It may be our goal as parents, but it still has a twang of pain, our kids are our greatest contribution to this world!

    A MOVER
The owner is really good but some of his people are not. We have used them a couple of times and the usual crew was very good. They have a couple of occasional workers that weren?t so good. They were not that careful moving and did not do what they were asked. They were not just that careful with the stuff and it depended on who I got. I did have them pack a shipping container and they did not do such a good job packing. Some of the glass stuff broke inside and they kept telling me that they knew how to tie them up. They did not do such a great job. I have heard horror stories about moving companies, and I have no horror stories about these guys. They just nicked a couple of pieces of furniture. The owner was very responsive. He went out of his way to make sure I had someone on the date that he promised even though he messed up on the scheduling. He had overbooked for that day and so he went and found someone that he knew who could fill in. He split up his experienced team, so I got an experienced person and a temporary person and they tended to work together. One guy was half an hour late. The price was competitive. I don?t think there is anyone better around here. I would probably use them in the future.

The entire process was very smooth. The estimator was knowledgable and professional as well as friendly. The movers arrived on time and took good care of our belongings. They did not bring enought wardrobe boxes with them even though the estimate requested the correct amount. But they made a quick phone call and the issue was resolved quickly. One of my best moving experiences ever.

    A MOVER
I had asked for and recieved estimates from a lot of movers. All were 'Salesmen type' that thought that you would think they were your friend. I found Roy on Angies List, called him, knew when I heard his voice on the phone he was no phony like all the others. I also checked with BBB and CALT, A rating, no complaints. They had 16 stairs to climb at my new apartment, and the drive was 350 miles, one way. Roy and Billy delivered everything exactly as they had picked it up. If it were possible to give a higher rating to this mover, I would do so. I cannot imagine a better moving experience.

WHEN I SCHEDULED THE MOVE THE MAN SAID THEY WOULD TRY HARD TO MOVE ME AROUND 8 AM. BEFORE I MOVED I CALLED TO CONFIRM THAT I WOULD BE MOVED AT 8 AM. THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BEFORE 12:00. NO ONE CALLED THE DAY OF THE MOVE TO CONFIRM, I HAD TO KEEP CALLING THROUGHOUT THE DAY BECAUSE NO ONE SHOWED UP. AT 4 P.M. THEY DIDNT THINK THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE IT AND SUGGESTED THAT THEY GET SOMEONE FROM MARTINEZ (35 MILES AWAY), BUT THEY THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE BUSY TO. I ENDED UP HAVING TO MOVE MY FURNITURE BY MYSELF WITH A FRIEND AND SON. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN. MY FRIEND HURT HIS BACK AND IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR ME. EVEN AFTER THEY DIDNT SHOW UP THERE WAS NEVER ANY FOLLOW-UP AS TO WHY OR A HOW WAS OUR SERVICE EVALUATION. NO ONE EVEN APOLOGIZED. DONT USE THEM!
