    Bob Rogers of Grass Valley Computers was really nice and delivered the computer to my place of business. My wife was really excited since it was a Christmas present for her.  The computer was a really nice ASUS Laptop.  My wife was very happy and everything seemed like it was going to work out, until my wife got hit by a virus. At that point she needed to reload her operating system.  Unfortunately, her computer did not come with a Windows 8.1 disc, so my wife called Bob Rogers and explained to him what had happened and Bob told her that he did not have a Windows 8 disc and that she would have to contact ASUS, the manufacturer, which my wife did and since the computer is still under warranty, they said to go ahead and ship it back to them and they would put a new hard drive in it and load Windows 8 for her.  That is all fine, except that she will be without a computer for close to a month (which is unacceptable) and we still WILL NOT HAVE A WINDOWS 8 DISC. So, I finally bit the bullet and went online and purchased an OEM copy of Windows 8.1, so that my wife can reload her system and get operational again.  I had to pay $100 for Windows 8.1 and I am not too happy about that and that is mostly why I am writing this review, that and to tell people to beware if you purchase a laptop from some guy and he does not give you a disc with the OS, then chances are he doesn't even own one himself and you too will be on your own!  I hope this helps someone out there who is buying a computer in the Grass Valley or Nevada City area of California.

    They did not scan for viruses first. They did the back-up. It took longer than they said it would. They back-up was bad, did not have all the documents, etc. Took it back. They fixed it supposedly. And of course sold me the best anti-virus program. We'll see.  I had another computer owner was supposed to help set up. She didn't accomplish it. When I told them I was bringing it there, I got a nasty email. Turns out her father owned the business. She took it over and is not good with customer service. She says she wants feedback but when you give it, she gets unpleasant. She insists on coming to your residence to fix your computer - you can't come to teh store. Creepy.  She refused to fix the issue and told me to go away. Very strange. The employee said he would get back to me. Still waiting......

    Geek Squad - Best Buy
    They were supposed to deliver a refrigerator but lied about having it in stock. They gave me 2 separate dates (and 2-hour windows) where they planned to deliver it. Both nights i called them after they hadn't called me. The local store had never received the item to deliver. and it was clear no one cared. i wasted 6 weeks and never got my fridge. i will NEVER go to a Best Buy again

    He didn't do all of the work. I called him up to come out again, but he was mad at me for wanting to have him back. I wanted to buy a Mac, and they wanted me to buy a warranty. I didn't want it. I did buy a computer, but not from him. I don't like the owner. I won't go back.

    PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR A BRAND NAME COMPUTER WHO STANDS BY THEIR PRODUCT!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SOOOO BAD IN ALL MY LIFE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR COMPUTER REPAIR GUY WHO BASICALLY TREATED ME LIKE AN IDIOT BECAUSE I BOUGHT NAME BRAND COMPUTERS AND NOT HIS, UNTIL I DID... 11/26/2012 I HAD HIM BUILD ONE FOR ME. I BROUGHT IT HOME AND FROM DAY ONE I HAD PROBLEMS,EVERYDAY IT CRASHED, BLUE SCREEN FATAL ERRORS, AND WINDOWS RE-STARTED DUE TO WINDOWS FAILURE ABOUT 8 TIMES A DAY. IT WAS ALWYAS A RUSH TO TRY AND DO A TASK AND GET IT SAVED BEFORE IT CRASHED, THE MOTOR SOUNDED LIKE A CAR READY TO BLOW UP. I TOOK PHOTOS OF THE SCREEN AND VIDEO OF WHAT IT WOULD DO. WHEN I TOOK IT TO HIM THE FIRST TIME HE SAID I LET IT RUN ALL DAY AND ITS FINE, I SAID BUT IT'S NOT SOMETHING IS GOING ON, HE BLAMED IT ON WHATEVER I HAD PLUGGED INTO IT LIKE MY PRINTERS SCANNER ETC. SO I TOOK IT BACK HOME LEFT EVERYTHING  UNPLUGGED HAD NOTHING HOOKED TO IT BUT MOUSE AND KEYBOARD(HAVE VIDEO OF THAT TOO) AND SAME THING STILL CRASHED. I LIVE 90 MILES ONE WAY SO ITS 180 MILES ROUND TRIP TO TAKE IT IN. I JUST WORKED AROUND THE CRASHES UNTIL I JUST KNEW ANY MOMENT IT WAS GOING TO BLOW UP IT RUNS SO LOUD LIKE A CAR READY TO BLOW! SO I TOOK IT BACK AGAIN, SAME RESULTS FROM HIM CAME BACK ANOTHER 180 MILES ROUND TRIP TO PICK IT UP HE SAID IT WORKS FINE!!!!!! OK SO IM JUST ANNOYED BY THIS POINT BUT WHAT AM I TO DO HE BUILT IT AND I AM AT HIS MERCY! SO THE NEXT TIME I TAKE IT BACK SAME RESULTS, I ALSO TOOK A REALLY NICE LAPTOP IN AN OLDER ONE BUT JUST WANTED IT CLEANED UP AND MAYBE MORE MEMORY ADDED, NOPE HE COULDN'T DO IT. BUT WHILE I WAS THERE EITHER HE OR IS WIFE KNOCKED ANOTHER LADIES LAPTOP OFF THE DESK AND BROKE IT IN HALF!!! SO THE NICE PERSON I AM I SAID WELL IF HERS IS OLDER THAN MINE YOU CAN GIVE HER THIS ONE IN PLACE OF THE BROKEN ONE, SO HE GRABBED IT RIGHT UP!!! SO I COME BACK TO CHECK THE STATICE OF MY NIGHTMARE COMPUTER AND ONCE AGAIN IT RUNS FINE FOR HIM HE SAYS. I GO HOME WITH A BROKEN COMPUTER ONCE AGAIN MINUS A LAPTOP ALSO. SO MONDAY JULY 7TH IT CRASHED COMPLETLY BLACK SCREEN WINDOWS FAILURE LOGO GOING ROUND N ROUND WONT DO ANYTHING, CAN'T SHUT IT OFF. I CALL R&D SOME GUY WHO WAS ANSWERING THE PHONES LISTENED TO MY PROBLEM BRIEFLY AND ALL HE SAID WAS IM JUST ANSWERING THE PHONE RICH ISN'T HERE!!!!! I SAID WELL IS HE GOING TO BE IN AND WITH AN ANNOYED VOICE HE SAID NO!!! BY NOW IM FREAKING OUT READY TO HAVE A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN BECAUSE I REALIZED THE COMPUTER WASN'T EVEN RECOGNIZING MY BACK UP DRIVE SO WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH DATA I HAVE NOT BACKED UP, SO I GET IN THE CAR AND DRIVE STRAIGHT TO BEST BUY IN SANTA ROSA 300 MILE ROUND TRIP FOR ME, I LEAVE IT WITH THEM AND SAY PLEASE ALL I WANT IS THE DATA IF YOU CAN SAVE IT OFF THE HARD DRIVE THATS ALL I WANT AND I GET A CALL THE NEXT DAY THEY HAD SAVED MY FILES THANK GOD. ALSO GAVE ME THE NEWS ABOUT THE COMPUTER OF COURSE I KNEW IT WAS TOAST AND IT WAS ONE STICK OF RAM WAS DEFECTIVE AND HDD LOCKING UP, FAILED ALL MEMORY TESTS,  FAILED HDD, ALSO NEEDS NEW OS. SO I BROUGHT IT BACK TO RICH AT R & D TODAY AND EXPLAINED TO HIM WHAT HAPPENED AND HOW RUDE HIS PHONE PERSON WAS, AGAIN THAT SOB SAID SUCH SOOTHING WORDS...WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO ITS OUT OF WARRANTY!!!?????? I SAID WAIT A MINUTE I HAVE HAD IT HERE 3 TIMES UNDER WARRANTY AND YOU KEPT SAYING ITS FINE, HE REPEATED THIS 4 OR 5 TIMES " ONE MINUTE AFTER WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED ITS NOT COVERED, OVER AND OVER HE SAID IT THAT WAS HIS ANSWER TO ALL MY PLEAS! EVEN HIS WIFE SAID RICH YOU SHOULD AT LEAST LOOK AT IT. THIS IS WHAT I CAN SAY FOR SURE HE IS A BULLY, A CHAUVINIST HAS NOT A CARE IN THE WORLD ABOUT HIS CUSTOMER WHAT SO EVER!!!!!! AND GETS AWAY WITH IT BECAUSE NO ONE HAS PUT HIM IN HIS PLACE. THIS PERSON GIVES A BAD NAME FOR LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES, HE NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!!! I WILL BE POSTING THIS TO EVERY MEDIA POSSIBLE I FEAR ANYONE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON UNLESS THEY WANT TO THROW THEIR MONEY AWAY AND POSSIBLE ALL THEIR DATA. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!!

    This company is a joke. They had my computer for weeks and when I got it back all my expensive software was gone (ofice, word, excel). They said they would have it for a few days and it was over 3 weeks. Claimed that the software was never there when questioned and they helped me out by installing some generic software that didn't even work. Run do not walk away from this company, there a joke.
