I do have Cox. I like them but it is just really hard if you want to get a hold of anybody. If you are on the phone, it takes forever. I pay a lot and the annoying thing is that I have a DVR and to have the DVR box you have to have the digital cable package. You can't just have the basic cable package, you have got to have the digital upgrade package to use the DVR box so they get you.

I was very disappointed of results. I spent a whole day redoing wire connection in closet area. Something you don't want to do after paying someone to get the job done right.

UPDATE: The vendor claims in his response to my F grade that he does not know me (member) and has reported it to Angie's List for further investigation. So have I after reading that untruthful response. Well anyone who would like a copy of the receipt can email me at It is sad that he would claim to not know me after he called me to discuss the review after I posted it. The original sales quote was under number 366 and my assigned customer number is/was 182. Maybe now he/they will remember (again)... Beware !!!!

Our first meeting with Javier and Allen was the same day we contacted them and the work was done the next day. We are very satisfied with their impecable workmanship and their knowledge of the work they perform. They installed and mounted a 60 inch TV in our family room. Javier suggested that they fish the wires through the wall in order to hide the wires and cables. This suggestion was right on. They patched and painted the wall and it matches perfectly. They fished wire and mounted at 32 inch TV on our patio and painted that area. Also installed and programmed two Blu-ray disc players to our Internet. There is no doubt we would call on them again, they were extremely polite and easy to work with.

This was my 4th repair at Crywolf.  This time I brought in a computer my son had taken to college.  Plastic was breaking off the case as the laptop had gotten very hot.  I was fixing it to donate so I really didn't want to spend much money on it, but they found a lot to fix that was truly necessary to keep it running for the recipient.  Luckily, they informed me that part of it could be fixed on a recall, which no other repair place had told me.  They gave me a delivery date, but I told them that I was not in a hurry, as it wasn't for Christmas.  When they discovered that my computer was not going to be ready on time as quoted, they called me and apologized in advance, and when I came in to pick it up just 2 days later, they had credited my account for half the labor in apology!!!  I have always found the best prices here on parts and labor, but their honesty concerning the recall and refund for the delay was above and beyond the normal and was really appreciated in this case.  I do trust these guys over any other computer repair store, and I used to build desktops myself, so I am very aware of the costs and requirements of good service.

I am a computer professional with many years of experience so I rarely need to take problems to a repair facility but, when I do, the problem is an unusually difficult one. Most repair technicians I have encountered are utterly clueless and, if they do intervene, they usually make the problem worse. Bullseye Computer is the exception. I have used their services several times and have been more than satisfied each time. As I said to the Bullseye technician when I collected my newly-repaired computer, thank God there is at least one repair shop with people who actually know what they are doing.

After a few false starts, Mr Worst came to my home to assess my requirements.  He promised me an estimate within a few days.  When nothing arrived after a week or so, I sent him a polite reminder, to which I received absolutely no reply. I assumed that my job was simply too small to interest Mr Worst (although I did agree to purchase several thousand dollars worth of equipment from him -- some of which, it turns out, was not even needed), but I would have appreciated some sort of response to to let me know that he would not be bidding on the job after all.  After the start of the new year, it occurred to me that many service business have a slow period at that time, so perhaps even a smaller project might be of interest to Mr Worst under the circumstances.  I wrote him again, asking if he might be interested at that time.  Again, I did not receive the courtesy of a reply. Before Angie's List, I had several bad experiences with contractors who started a job, then vanished, leaving me with a terrible mess.  I think there is the risk of just such a situation with anyone who promises a bid, then disappears, so I am actually relieved that Mr Worst (such an apposite name!) did not respond to my offer of a second chance.

Javier and Alan came over to access the requirements, provide their professional recommendations and gave us an estimate for the required work. Javier recommended the newest HDMI version-capable cables, to ensure that we would be prepared for furture system expansion into 3-D, in case we ever wanted or needed that technology. Something I would not have thought of doing, but may save a cable "re-do" in the years to come. After agreeing on the estimate, we set up a scheduled appointment for the work to be performed. Javier and Alan retured a couple of days later, and installed the cables. This required cutting access holes in the drywall and routing the cables. The holes were then repaired/patched and re-textured. After re-painting the patches (done by me), you cannot tell where the holes were cut and cannot see where any patching was performed. Excellent job; and they cleaned up after themselves and left us with a thoroughly professional and cleaned installation. Alan told us to make sure and call them if we experience any difficulties or problems with the cables. I highly recommend these guys. A good friend of ours, just bought a new home in East Lake, and liked the work done by Javfier and Alan so much; that he also contracted them to install his new HDTV over the fireplace in his new home, next week.

For years SBC was my local and ATand T my long distance carrier. Service was always fine. The companies merged and service continued to be fine. Although I would have to periodically call to be put on a less-expensive plan. Yesterday, I called to get pricing. The first person I reached told me I was speaking to NEW ATand T and they couldn't access my file. The next person (another number) told me I was OLD ATand T and I'd have to call a different number. I tried six OLD ATand T numbers. Each one had a horrendous voice tree that I tried to navigate through just to get an agent on the phone. Each time, after many minutes, I was told to visit the website and was disconnected. I did reach an OLD ATand T rep this morning. He didn't say so but implied that they would prefer customers re-sign with the NEW ATand T. So I did. I moved my phone business to the cable company.
