    Five Star Windows
Did a good job initially. Did not install small plugs that cover the screws holding the window to the frame. Failed to respond to come back and do it. Some cosmetic drawback to their good job. Weak customer services!

    Legacy Painting Contractors
Great painting job. Honest, knowledgable and experienced team. Work fast and precisely. Attention to detail. Price is reasonable. Highly recommend Legacy Painting. Got to get up early though. They knock at your door at 7:00 am.

    Everlast Construction
We worked with Ari at Everlast to design & renovate our complete kitchen remodel. He was really great to work with from start to finish. Ari took the time to figure out what our design tastes were and used that to guide us every step of the way. There were a lot of decisions to make but he was able to narrow things down where it was not overwhelming. The teams that worked were top notch and did a great job. We did not run into any issues at all with the work. We are very happy with how the project turned out and would highly recommend Everlast for your kitchen remodel.

    Highland Landscape
Lee was very pleasant to work with, and answered our questions/concerns. Originally, we were going to install a tropical wood deck, but Lee recommended that we go with redwood based on his inspection of the permit. His workers were pleasant, friendly and efficient. I provided feedback about changes to the design of the deck, which his workers implemented to my satisfaction, although it did cost some additional money for materials (they did not charge me for time). Also . there were some additional items (replacing a plank with several holes, trimming the steps, sanding the top rail) and inquiries that needed to be addressed which they also completed to my satisfaction.

    Craig Fencing
I got a referral from a co-worker who had a fence built a month before. Craig Fencing wasn't lowest bid; however, I liked the fact that the company uses premium redwood and has done business for a long time. The crew finished in two-days and the fence looks great!

    Woodiwiss Painting
We had a VERY tight turnaround time because we were having new flooring completed on 3/26 and movers coming with our furniture on the 29th. The entire Woodiwiss team was thorough, clean, efficient, and we even had a couple walls that needed to be re-done because we didn't like the color we chose and they made the changes quickly. Above and beyond that, we had DirecTV in on the last day of painting to install our cable and mount TVs to the walls. Woodiwiss stuck around to help patch and re-paint parts of the walls that were dinged in the cable installation process. We had brand new hardwood floors and they covered and protected them as if it were their own. I can't say enough about Toby and his team... they were life savers for us and we would use them again in a heart beat!!!

    Three N Painting
Working with Tim Clancy from Three N Painting was an excellent experience, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.  This was hassle-free from my point of view:  he provided me with guidance on what choices I needed to make, he provided input on color selection, and he was up-front with me about the details of the job and what it was going to cost.  I made some changes to the overall scope of the job while he and his team were on-site, so we ended up coming in slightly higher than the original estimate, but he was completely transparent with me about the impacts of my choices -- this allowed me to make informed decisions about the outcome that I wanted to achieve.
His team showed up when they said they'd show up, they did the work they said they'd do, and they took extra care to get the job done right.  They paid lots of attention to little details, and the quality of the work is really top-notch.  The vegetation around the house is in good condition after the paint job, and he even helped me out by fixing up a garage access door and fence door that needed some repairs.  End-to-end, the job took 2 days (FAST) and it looks fantastic.  If you're thinking about using Three N, go for it -- you will not be disappointed.

CertaPro Painters of Danville & San Ramon
Paul arranged interior designer to help with color choices and used SW super paint and communication was prompt via phone, email and sms. They applied the paint samples and let it dry for color choice and also had couple of ceiling repairs done. It was very professionally handled.

    RC&G Handyman Services
Richard was very responsive during the scheduling phase.  I have a very busy schedule, so I liked the fact that he communicated via email.  He was punctual and professional when he arrived and got the job done.  I am very happy with his services.  I would definitely use him again.

They came when they said they would and were very careful not to paint on days when it looked like rain. They did a very nice job with preparation, especially caulking the seams between fascia boards. The foreman was very courteous, capable, hardworking, and nice to work with. Our job was large, and we spoke with him every morning. We had some difficulties with stucco cracks. Although the cracks were narrow and easy to fill (and the painters used the correct patch material and technique), the texture was significantly different afterwards. They addressed this with a coat of elastomeric paint in the area of the worst cracks, which hid the repair sufficiently but not perfectly. The painters were very good about making clean paint edges and keeping the paint off of other surfaces. At the end of the main effort, the foreman encouraged us to make a punch list of areas that needed more paint. We asked them to paint an area of the chimney that was overlooked and add another layer of paint to the gazebo ceiling, which they completed promptly. Our only complaint is that on two occasions when we called J&J's office with an issue, Jill said that Joe would call back tomorrow, but he did not call. It appears that he called the foreman instead and left it to the foreman to talk with us. While our issues did get addressed, we believe that if you say you will call, you must actually call. Joe came to the jobsite to take "before and after" pictures, but we would have liked to see him once or twice during the job. Because of these communications issues, we reduced the grade for responsiveness. Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome of this job.
