  • I don’t like her. First of all, I found her to be judgmental and that's not good at all if you are a psychiatrist. When I went for my first appointment she knew that I had insurance and when the time came for her to give me the information, she refused to give me her tax number or social security number which I have to have as the insurance company needs it so that they can do the internal revenue to make sure that she pays taxes on that income and that is a requirement. She is also the head of a Corporation where she is the only person in the Corporation. She has to know that the internal revenue needs her tax number or her Social Security number and she has not given it to me yet. So I wrote her a letter with a return receipt over a month ago and I have not received the green card back indicating that the letter was delivered to her. So I intend to go to the Beverly Hills post office and find out what's going on because it's taken too long, for the letter to be received by her. In the letter I gave her a deadline of 30 business days till February to respond to the letter giving me either her tax ID number or Social Security number, reimbursing me for the amount of money my insurance company was going to pay and for which the deadline has already passed, My insurance company is going to pay my 70% of the bill which is a big chunk and I have not heard from her yet. So, I’m going to have to end up writing another letter to her now. In my previous letter I had told her that I would take her to the claims court if I didn't hear from her within 30 days, to try to recoup the money that my insurance company will reimburse me for. She knew at the very beginning that I had insurance and I was going to turn into my insurance company and I asked her that if she could please sign up with my insurance company because all that I required was her name, credentials, phone number and address. If she had done that I would have been reimbursed 90% of my insurance but she refused to do that, the reason is that she didn't wanted to turn in her Social Security number or her tax ID, which I don't know. But I think that people should know that I'm having this problem with her as I would think so that there could be many others facing a similar problem from her. Under these circumstances my overall experience has been very bad with her. At the beginning she was always late so I started complaining and the person after me was complaining too because that made him late. About halfway through, she did start being on time. She was the only person doing everything and she did not have a staff, but she is friendly. For her to have an office in Beverly Hills, her office was very shabby. Her office does not have any water; so for about 3 weeks I didn’t eat or have kleenex. For me those things are important in an office, specially a psychiatrist’s office. As far as her effectiveness of treatment is concerned, she did give me some insights but I keep coming back to her being judgmental issue. I have paid her for each and every session and the checks that I given have never bounced. So, she certainly got her money but I haven't got mine. Another thing that hurt me was that she told me that calling her by her first name was appropriate as she wanted me to call her doctor Lieberman and that it was okay to call me by first name Patricia. She is up on the second floor and as far as I know the building does not have an elevator and she never told me that there was no elevator and so I could have probably been in a wheelchair and shown up and I wouldn't have been able to get up to the second floor. So I think she should tell the people for the first time that she is on second floor, so if they have mobility issues then they would know before time.  I would never never use her again and I would tell anyone not to use her.

  • On my second visit, I had the nerve to ask a question and got yelled at (yes, yelled at) by the doctor.  That was IT for me!  I am now seeing a very personable and professional psychiatrist.  By the way, the prescription that he gave me did not even work.  However, the prescription given to me by the new psychiatrist did.  Maybe if he were focused on the patient's care instead of just dispensing presciptions then I would have been a lot happier.  His staff is also awful and can't even schedule appointments correctly.

  • Overall, my experience has been beyond wonderful working with Paula. She is really devoted to meeting her clients where they are and working on getting them to answer questions about underlying factors. She has a wonderful way of gracefully identifying those items hindering a client from going forward.

  • If a doctor is judged by the number of patients that file through his/her door in a day, he is the absolute best. I've never heard of a doctor performing a full phcological examination of a patient and correctly prescribing the remedy (i.e. medication) in 30 seconds flat, but Dr. D has that ability. If you are looking for "chit chat" - or want to whine about your problems, go elsewhere. If you are looking for the latest and greatest drugs on the market, Dr. Deirmenjian is the guy for you. PROS: He's friendly and extremely quick. CONS: He has not helped solve any of the problems I went to see him about.

  • The office is completely disorganized- there were problems with the office manager and I tried to get in touch with this doctor and he didn't return my phone calls. I wouldn't recommend them to others. The main issues were with the receptionist and the office manager. They were rude and disrespectful.

  • It's a very small center so it's almost family like. It's so small so a person doesn't get lost in the shuffle of too many clients and stuff like that. It's a very cozy place. They are available.

  • Everything about them is good and I would give them an A overall.  I will use them in the near future if needed.

  • He is outstanding!  He goes over and above.  He spends plenty of time with the patient and knowledgeable.

  • Dr. Deirmenjian main goal it seems is to get his patients in and out as fast as he can. He doesn't really seem to care and has a very cold personality. I would never go back to him again.
