    It is a father - son business. The father was very attentive on the phone. The son is very thorough and agile. He is very clean and neat. The prices are very reasonable. The Father called us back and let us know that the first estimate was low, but they advised that they are giving a discount for Angie's List members. Compared to other, their price is very reasonable. The son likes people, and he was able to advised what the gutter problems are. Very professional. You could tell that they want to please which is so reassuring.

    B & B Window and Gutter Cleaning
    Everything from making the appointment to Dave completing the job went splendidly.  I can't recommend this company enough.
    1. Nicole - the office manager - who also makes the appointments was courteous, professional, and responded immediately to my many, many queries.  She is a gem.
    2. The quote: without coming out - just by using google maps - they provide you with a quote dependent on house size and number of stories.  I think this is fabulous.  I also explained over the phone that we had a pitched room and the second story was a bit hard to get to.  Nicole explained that it would not be a problem.  I found the quote to be highly competitive.
    3. The price was amazing.  I did not know this when I first contacted them, but Nicole noted that there was a 20% discount for first-time customers.  I thought it excellent customer service to offer this discount.
    4. Dave - Dave was very punctual, courteous, friendly, and professional.  He did an amazing job and I believe did above a beyond just cleaning the gutters.  We have a number of skylights and he even sprayed these down also.  He came promptly at 8:30 am and did not leave until 11am.  He was thorough in his cleaning and even checked for rust spots.  He cleaned up thoroughly and left everything spotless.
    Again, I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again next year!

    This company was fantastic.    Exceeded my expectations.   Very communicative.  Pulled all the permits,  showed up on time.  Cleaned up after themselves every night.    Worked quickly  (sometimes 11 hour days in the heat).   Finished the job professionally in 3 days and had the inspector arranged for final sign off on permit the 4th day.     So happy I hired them.

    Arrasmith Window Cleaning
    The gutter cleaners were supposed to come at 8 am, but by noon I still hadn't heard from them.  I called Jim, who had given me the original estimate, and after checking with the guys, he said they were in the process of cleaning our gutters.  But no one had been here.  I'd been home since 8, waiting.
    He called the guys back, and then said they had mistakenly gone to one of my neighbors' houses.  He said they would come as soon as they could.   
    A couple hours later, two men rang my doorbell.  Only one of them spoke to me.  He spoke rapidly and was clearly upset.  I had a difficult time understanding him, and asked him if they were here to clean my gutters.
    He said yes, and began pleading with me.  Something about wanting me to tell Jim that they'd already cleaned my gutters in the morning, about being afraid of getting in trouble.  Then he said something about my house and "fast" or "quick", that I didn't understand.
    I felt bad for them, but couldn't lie for them. 
    He continued to plead with me, speaking very quickly.  I could not understand everything he said, but it was clear he was distressed.  I told him I had already spoken to Jim, when they hadn't shown up on time.  This made him plead more desperately.
    I believe he asked if I could tell Jim that I was mistaken earlier when I spoke to him, and wanted me to tell Jim that they had, indeed, been at my house in the morning.
     I told them I was sorry for them, but couldn't help them.   I was paying for a service, and just wanted it done and done right.  Jim had said the job would take about four hours.
    They finally went off and went to work.  
    They rang my bell less than 30 minutes later, handing me a bill for $150.  The one who talked asked me to write my check and give it to them.
    I explained that I couldn't give them the money directly (after all, they had asked me to lie to their boss), and commented that they had only worked for 30 minutes when Jim said it would take about four hours. 
    He insisted they did a good job, just fast.  He seemed very anxious.
    He asked again for the check, which I refused to give him, saying I preferred to send it directly to Jim.  They clearly did not like this and continued to beg me to pay them directly.  After I firmly said no and thanked them for what they had done, I called Jim and told him that they'd only been on my roof for 30 minutes, and had asked me to lie about when they were here.  My dealings with Jim up to this point had been fine.
    He said the guy who did all the talking was a good guy; he probably just felt embarrassed because they went to the wrong house.
    I said I understood he was a good guy, but they had only spent 30 minutes cleaning my gutters when he himself had told me it would take about four hours.
    He insisted they wouldn't leave without finishing the job.
    I asked why it had taken four hours to clean my neighbor's gutters, when her house is the same size as ours, and she doesn't even have any big trees!  And why had he originally told me the job would take four hours if they could do just as good a job in 30 minutes?
    Jim said they take as long as they need, and obviously our gutters must not have been very dirty.
    I told him that I found that hard to believe.  They hadn't been cleaned well over a year, and our pine trees are constantly dropping needles.  
    He said again that they were good guys and he was confident they'd done a thorough job.
    I asked him if he could at least lower the price of the bill.  He had originally quoted me $150-$175 for a four-hour job.
    He said $150 was already a good deal.  They should have charged $175 because of the size of our house.  Then he said he guessed he could go as low as $125, but any lower than would be impossible because he had to pay the guys.  
    Exhausted by the whole ordeal, I agreed to send him a check for $125.  
    To add insult to injury, the next morning, I found a garbage bag 1/2 full of pine needles and a red scoop in my yard.  They hadn't even cleaned up after their work.

    I have hired this company again. Peter is evaluating a window in my attic, which fell out. He is determining whether it is worth replacing the glass or simply purchasing a new window. Also, I have hired him to secure netting over my gutters. Their pricing is moderate. He claims he can do all types of work on houses.
