  • We are a young engaged couple who just bought our first condo. Yay! :) The only problem with the condo was the old flooring.? We deliberated for a long time the type of flooring we wanted throughout the house, since there are so many options to choose from.? Adam sat with us and carefully explained all our options.? We ended up going with the red oak hard wood flooring and it is gorgeous! The contractor worked quickly, treated our furniture with care, and even went with me to buy cleaning supplies and taught us how to properly care for the floors.? I would gladly use this company again.

  • Bad Experience

58 years old and dealt with a lot of people and companies during my time.
By far, this is the WORSE interaction I have ever had with the 3 people who were with Coit.
Of the three people, 1 was with them for 30 years (the cleaner) and the follow up supervisor who was their for 40 years and then the WORSE was their regional manager who was so unprofessional, I was dumbfounded.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!
They ruined a $1,500 ottoman and offered me a $38 refund for the cleaning that they charged me.
    PEOPLE BEWARE
They claim to be in business for 60 years and have a 100% satisfaction guarantee but when it comes done to it, they did not perform!

    JUST BAD, BAD, BAD!

  •   The price I paid to you, I considered was a "come one" price.  It could also be considered a "bait and switch" price.  The estimater and cleaner were the same.  They said the Angie's price covered only a tiny bit of the job.  I have a small kitchen and a small family room but they wanted to charge $600.00 more for the job.  I had my marble entry way cleaned, and that was another $400.  It was the $600. plus the Angie's List price for my small kitchen and family room which was terribly disappointing.

  • Arrived on time and ready to get started. They measured the floor to confirm the square footage. I had purchased an AngiesList Big Deal so they quoted me the additional cost for the extra square footage (which I expected). Then they got to work on treating stains. They were quick but thorough. They were professional.  All in all a great experience.

  • They were excellent.  The crew worked flat out, including Saturday and Sunday, to get the job done.  Cheerful, pleasant and polite, they were very professional.  Lance Cohen, the project manager, was great and answered all our questions.  We are delighted with the work that was done - the ceilings have been transformed.  We were also impressed by how well they protected our hardwood floors, cheerfully moved any heavy furniture to get it out of the way, and cleaned up at the end of every day. They even installed some extra insulation at no additional cost.  The clean-up on the final day was specially impressive - they worked really h****** what was a very hot day, and made sure we were happy with everything.   I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

  • They did an excellent job. I had a contractor that I had hired myself to take down two walls and then they came in to do everything from the floor to the installation of the sheet rock. They put in insulation as well. They worked with the permits and they did the design as well.

  • Visited the store - Steve was very helpful in providing options. Selected a carpet and Steve came out to our house shortly after for a quote. Gave the go ahead, selected a date and carpet was installed in about 2 hours. Doesn't get much simpler than this!

  • Nick was a pleasure to work with, and he did a very good job overall.  He did make some mistakes along the way (painted some walls we wanted unpainted), but he came back and fixed all the stuff we had issues with at no additional cost.  He was easy to schedule time with, and charged a reasonable rate.  He's also very easy to work with.
He recommended a great paint to us (KM Envirocoat - zero VOC and the house barely smelled after the first few days) and overall was helpful to us in the "getting the house fixed-up" process.

  • John was very professional and communicative, and easy to work with.  All the work was done on-time, with a prompt arrival at exactly the time promised, overall the work was good to very good.  He did have subs do the floor and lights, and he and his assistant did the wall.  The floor, lights, and wall turned out great - the wall did end up having some cracks form 2-3 months after install, but John came out and fixed it about a week after I called him about it.  On that visit, he also helped me out by chipping out my storm drain cover (cemented in) and cleaning the drainage for me, which was a huge help, since I was planning on having to have a plumber come out and do that separately.  Also, I was having appliances installed while John and his crew were working, and he kindly helped remove/replace some laminate and trim in the kitchen so that the appliance installers (one of whom randomly had had John as a Shop teacher in high school and had great respect for him!) could get their job done on time.
The only downside is that the quality of the replacement door installation was lower than ideal, with extra gapping and some less than neat painting/patching.  He came out and fixed the gap and some holes up for me, too, when he fixed the wall, but the trim still doesn't look quite right and the door/trim needs a coat of paint.  I'm planning on replacing all the baseboards and trim in my house in the near future, however, so I'll replace the door trim at that time, too.  Similarly, the hardware on the front door was a little wonkily reinstalled, BUT the repair and painting look great.  So, overall, I'd say A- (rounded up to an A), with minor points off for the doors, but otherwise great to work with and quality work.
Last note, I provided the light fixtures, flooring, and new door hardware (~$1300 total), so the total cost of the job was more like $5400 for all parts/labor/painting.

  • They were on time, professional, helpful, friendly and kind to my old dog. They helped me get the rugs up and put them back in place. The clean rugs look great. I'd use their services again. Thanks.
