I have now ordered five pairs of glasses from ZENI over the last 6 years; one each for my wife and son and 3 for me. As long as you read the reviews and verify the measurements you can get excellent glasses at a fraction of the cost of other places - even online. My glasses are progressive with transitions lenses in titanium frames. The prescription has been filled spot on and I shipping is fast and I only paid $148 . The quality of the frames might not be quite as good a say Ray-Bans but for the same price I can get several pairs. Like I stated above, take good measurements, read the reviews to make sure they are what you are looking for and you can get a great pair of glasses very inexpensively.

First of all, this group is now in San Carlos. My 10 yr old dog has hereditary retina problems and cataracts. He has been on Occuglo to try to treat this. Unfortunately his eyes are worse but may have been even worse wihout Occuglo. Dr. Mughanam said he wouldn't do cataract surgery because it wouldn't help his vision which is not good due to retina problem. He had recommended Occuglo as a possible treatment, saying it was unproven but worth a try because it wouldn't do any harm. I have been to him for decades with my dogs and apppreciate his skill and honesty.

I made an appointment a few days ahead of time. When I arrived, a tech brought me to diagnostic machines, which I am familiar with. You look into the machine and it figures out your prescription. Also visual fields (with clicker) and eye pressure (puff of air). They took a picture of the back of my cornea for an extra fee. I thought that was worth while. Then I saw the doctor, Baker, and she checked my vision, including reading (close-up), by flipping through various lenses and asking me to read what I see. My prescription had not changed significantly. She went over the pictures of my cornea with me. I didn't need new glasses this time. With my VSP eye insurance, my copay was $54.

I got 2 new pairs of glasses. I like the new glasses a lot, and get compliments on the frames all the time. The glasses are high quality. I liked the service as well. They were very polite, and helpful. They were very informative about the price range, and were very helpful/accommodating in helping me choose which glasses I wanted. I was able to go back the same day as my exam to get my glasses, which was awesome.

    Headline Vision Enterprises Inc
It was excellent. My vision is much better. I had a condition in which my eyes did not focus together. All my life I have tripped and had bad falls. You can read my history in my body's injuries. They also caused surgeries. Tom Headline did an expert job in guiding me through vision therapy. Since I have finished I have not had one fall in almost a year. Tom Headline is incredibly generous and thoughtful, with a  broad, comprehensive knowledge of vision and therapy. He is resourceful skilled, very supportive and easy to work with. I have never had such a positive experience and it has changed my life. - Phyllis PhD

One of the side effects of a victrectomy is a cataract, usually within a year.  Due to my previous eye surgery, I had scarring and lasik eye surgery I had done 10+ years ago left me with very thin corneas.  Dr. Engelman asked for records from my lasik surgery to ensure the best outcome.  He was very honest that with my thin corneas, it would be a challenge to correct my vision to 20/20, but he did!  I was thrilled to be able to see again without glasses.  The procedure was straightforward and I had not problems.  Unfortunately I later developed a secondary cataract, which was a risk due to my relatively young age for a cataract.  He treated me with the Yag laser and I have my vision back again.  Insurance covered the procedures with a deductible, and I am thrilled with Dr. Engelman's expertise.  There is a risk that I could develop a retinal hole in the other eye as a result of my thin corneas, so I trust him to monitor my eyes for any issues that could occur.

I see Dr. Go.  This guy is really good though.  He is really careful.  I have gone to see him since 1983.

They were prompt and friendly.  The exam was thorough.   I was alerted to potential problems and advised.  I've been coming here for years and continue to be satisfied with UC OP

The appointment process was smooth and the phone staff (Rachel) was friendly and professional. The office and exam rooms all appeared very clean, well organized and had the most up-to-date equipment. My scheduled appointment was on time and started with one of the eye technicians, unfortunately I don't recall her name (Sam, Alex?) but she was very patient as I am a "very good" blinker. After the eye tests I met with Dr Johnson, he is very easy to talk to, answered all my questions about improving my eyesight from nutrition, supplements, alternative therapies to surgical options. Dr Johnson is not an ophthalmic surgeon but he did offer to provide referrals to well known surgeons in the area. Overall, I was very impressed by his chair side manner and plan to make him my "go to doc" for all things eye-related. Since I decided to try contacts (daily disposables) I worked with Ashley, she was thorough in explaining how to insert the contacts and extremely patient and very encouraging as I tried the techniques she showed me.  I have not filled my eyeglass prescription yet so I can't comment on that area of the office practice.  The office did give me hardcopy prescriptions for both the contacts and glasses so I have the option of having them filled elsewhere. I don't have eye care insurance, but found the exam pricing (with the discounts offered) to be comparable to other area offices I called. The office offers a substantial discount for buying a year's worth of the contacts which I will most likely use after my trial packages are finished.
