All around good service - from timely call back to prompt scheduling to thorough service. Itay explained his diagnosis and proposed service very well. All service for 3 compressors was done as promised. Very happy. I have used before and will use again.

Joe Sepe Heating & Air Conditioning
Our house was going up for sale so the last thing we wanted was to need a whole new unit when ours stopped working. Joe found that it was just a condenser that needed replacing for which we are eternally grateful.

    Tassio Temperature Control Inc
The SoCalGas came by today to light the gas pilot to our heater. He could not get it started. Then he took out a small screw driver and fiddled with a screw. He told me that it was normal after the summer for the fan to get a little dusty. Then the heater started right up. He said it looked just fine. Did not cost me a penny. Now let me tell you about Tassio Temperature Control, Inc. I got a service package for them to evaluate our air conditioner and heater. Two service calls. I paid for in advance. So, when I was having problems starting my heater a specialist came to the house. The last specialist in September told me that the heater was doing very well no problems. The new service man evaluated the heater and wanted to charge me $900.00 for basically turning a screw. Instead he gave me a long list of fees They are called is rip off fees. Im glad I told him no. He also tried to push the idea of a new furnace. I told him no. Then is wanted to charge me a fee for $76.00 for looking at my heater. (He stuffed my filter back in my furnace like a jerk and I did know that until today) So today I spend a few dollars for a new filter for my heater furnace that is now working just fine. The wise nice Gas man told me the business of how companies like Tassio rip people off. (He used to work for a company like Tassio) We laughed. I should ask for my money back. Can I have it back please? Always get a second opinion.

I found shawn and his company online. the dwp introduced a new rebate program for insulation and I saw his company was offering the services with it. I called shawn and set an appointment for him to come inspect my attic. When he arrived, he was very professional and was ready to work. he went into my attic and took measurements and pictures on my phone. we then talked and agreed on a price. he explained the rebate program to me and showed me I was going to get approx $1500 for redoing my insulation. he came back 5 days later with his crew and they completed the job in 1 day. i had to be at work so i wasnt able to be at my house while he was working but he kept texting me pictures and updating me on the project as it was coming along. I trusted him and he did a great job. he was professional and honest and did not try to rip me off. i got my rebate back and it was nice to see that it actually came through.

    MB Heating and Air
The AC unit was running very loudly and not cooling well. Initially we called Mark to replace the AC capacitor, but he also warned us that we would probably need to replace the motor soon as well. We had the same problem again a couple of days later, so we called Mark back out to fix the unit. He was responsive and on time both times. He was friendly and shared lots of information with us about how to troubleshoot and maintain our AC system. We'll be calling him again for our routine maintenance.

    Kaldess Air Conditioning & Heating
Our Air conditioning broke down on Friday the 13th. We called Juda on Saturday morning. He managed to get Al out to look at it by Saturday afternoon. Al was extremely straight forward. He advised us that the compressor had gone out and that we could replace it. He gave us the cost of replacing it as well as the risk of leaking. He also gave us the cost of a new air conditioner, which is what he recommended since our air conditioner was 17 years old. We opted to get the new conditioner. They were able to come out and install it on Wednesday afternoon, which was the soonest they could get a crane. Al and Juda were both extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They were also extremely thorough. The new air conditioning works great. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Juda and Al for all your hard work.

Aladdin Air Conditioning & Heating Inc
Aladdin provides great service but their pricing is a such a ripoff that I can't recommend them. They charged $307 less a $20 Angie's list coupon to replace an ultramet capacitator and service my HVAC. The average cost for the part is $35 on the internet, so the labor was $252 for 30 - 40 min. Hello! The technician, who was very nice, had a price sheet, offering various price levels if you also pay for their maintenance program. So Aladdin tried to sell their maintenance program for $165 in order to drop the capacitator replacement cost to $245. If I had purchased it, I would have paid $410. Um, this was obviously not a good deal. They are just too overpriced. Keep looking. UPDATE: It was originally a 1 because I was overcharged for service. The service manager called me an hour later to address my concerns about being overcharged. Really appreciate the effort made as not many companies do this. We agreed on a fair price. That's excellent service in my book. I was never going to call them again for service, but the followup call made a huge difference and I will remain a customer.

    American Air Conditioning & Heating
Excellent service from Fred who was punctual, neat and very tentive to our needs. And very dog-friendly. He explained everything clearly so we understood what was being done and why. So much so, that we signed up for the monthly service club. We'll be sure to ask for him again. Thanks for the great service Fred!

    Kaldess Air Conditioning & Heating
Returned from out of town only to walk into a cold house with a heater that would not turn on. After researching we called Kaldess. Within a hour Juda arrived and diagnosed the problem with our HVAC system, a burnt out fan motor. After discussing several options Juda removed the motor and took it back to his shop. About 2 hours later Juda returned and installed the new motor which made our system operable again. Can't say enough positive things to say about the service, timeliness, honesty, etc that we received. We are very satisfied customers and will definitely use Kaldess again.

    Kaldess Air Conditioning & Heating
Showed up exactly when they said they would, inspected the system, cleaned the filter, and replaced some ducting that was not to code. Juda was very upfront about the portion not up to code and didnt try to up sell nor use any pressure tactics which was appreciated. Will definitely have them back in the spring for an AC system inspection and tune up.
