    Pre purchase details seemed thorough, and complete.  Many improvements were made to the home while occupied.  Our home went up for sale, and went into escrow.  Upon completion of the new pre sale inspection, items were noted that were not even present in our original purchase inspection.  These are items that were permanent fixtures, that were not modified or added in any way.  interior items that could not have been damaged in 3 years.  If the initial inspection performed for us was completed thoroughly and in accordance with a procedure, these items should have been noted in our initial inspection.  Otherwise, there should not be items noted that are magically new the second time around.  This is a negative retrospectively, because if I purchase a new home and decide to hire again, I can assume items will be left out.  I can also assume if I ever expect to sell the house, the items that were left out before can come up and have a negative impact on sale.
    Items were noted in condition not true to actual condition of items in question (brand new installations reported as damaged= not in fact damaged).  Items disclosed to the buyer that are not in accordance with an objective home inspection.  Such as neighbors yards, neighbors dog barking while on roof inspecting (any dog would bark at a situation out of the ordinary), whether the street is high traffic, etc.  
    The home inspection should be done with integrity, and consistency.  On behalves of both buyer and seller.  The opinions of the inspector outside the scope of work are those for him/her self.  Opinions outside the scope of the inspection should be left out.  These opinions could have a negative impact on the parties involved.
