  • Went to her after being coaxed by my Son to support Haliewa businesses versus corporate medical like Queens.  That was a grave error.  Several things happened.  The first is that my Care Credit Visa card was denied when I tried to use it as she had been accused and found guilty by the credit card company for fraud.  That was embarrassing.  It was the only card I had on me and is for medical emergencies since it is a medical type credit card with very low interest.  I had to go back to my hotel to get another form of payment.  And when I was paid, I was fleeced by Miss Reinert not only once, but three times repeated afterwards.  She milks insurance companies for smaller items to build up her profit book.  Her own people told me that when I inquired.  Her own employees!  
    When she did my treatment she stunk of marijuana so strong that I got a "contact-high" and she admitted to being a daily user.  I doubt that was the only narcotic she uses as she spent half my visit talking about "drug abuse" talk with her buddy who sat in on our visit.  She thought I was too old to pick up on the subject by using slang but I am a retired police officer (she didn't know) working mostly drug detail all my career.  She was a heavy narcotic user.  And looked the part.  I didn't allow her to make any adjustments to my spine or neck because of this fact.  What I got was a simple massage and a pep talk for almost $500.00 and a bad taste in my mouth about the health care offered in Haliewa.  
    Luckily I found out later from residents of Haliewa, that she is a total kook (medically speaking) and poses as this "Hawaiian Princess" to those that don't know she has lived in Hawaii only a few years and comes from Saint Lewis.  The internet is full of other people who have "outed" her for the same claims she has made across the island. 
    Avoid this place like it was infected with disease.

  • Decided to go with a soft reline as recommended  by Dr. Robinson, and I'm so glad that I did. I can't thank him enough! Dr. Robinson was so patience, and  took his time. Whatever I needed ,he was there for me. He really cared and was very concerned about the fit of my dentures. He made sure they were right. I have been having serious problems for years with the fit of my dentures, and now I couldn't be happier. Also his staff makes you feel so welcomed, any time I needed to come in there was no problem scheduling. Couldn't ask for more ! Thank you !

  • I called EdgePark and described what was wrong and what I needed and also explained that I wasn't certain of the name of the mattress pad. Their representative said I was talking about a "waffle" mattress pad. They set up an account for me, said they would contact my insurance and either notify me that the pad was being sent or call me if any problems occurred. On 2/7/2013, they called to inform me that my insurance was not contracted with them to purchase the waffle pad for me. However, the representative said I could purchase the pad for $179.70 which I did by credit card.  
    We received their package and opened it only to find that it was a mattress pad called an "Alternating Pressure Pad and Pump System, Regular". That was our horrible mistake! Since no directions were included, my husband went online and found that EdgePark had a website showing the "Waffle" pad and also a picture of what we had received. They looked nothing alike and worked totally differently. I could never use the hard pad they had sent. Lo and behold - right under the picture of what they sent was a caveat saying that if you had opened the package (the box we assume the pad had come in) there were NO RETURNS. I called the company and was told, even if I had not used the pad, which I hadn't, but had simply opened it, they would not accept it back. I was then told I could send it back and they could inspect it for resale, but they would most likely send it back to me. I ordered a Waffle Mattress Pad. What person would not open a box from the company they had ordered from? I feel like I just went through a "Bait and Switch". They claim to have no records of any of my conversations with them. If you order medical equipment from EdgePark or any other company, be careful. Ask if they have a website (this was never mentioned). Ask for an email if your conversation was telephonic explaining exactly what is being sent. And be careful of EDGEPARK Medical Supplies.

  • My mother and sister (main caregiver) have used this service for over a year now to provide relief services for my sister.  There have only been a few times when there has been a scheduling conflict.  By and large, they are a very reliable service that my mother has grown to love.  They provide very caring service.

  • Never saw Dr. Basa. A nurse practitioner saw me.. I thought I had shingles and she confirmed it. Previously, it had been difficult to get an appointment on the same day. I believe they do not take HMO's at this office any more, so it was easier to get an appointment when they discovered I had a PPO health care plan. Overall, my condition was diagnosed and treated the same day.

  • I see him about once a month. I would rate him as the best, or at least top three chiropractors in the area. He is excellent. His staff is very friendly. They are confident. I would say that he is someone that I would recommend. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone.

  • I recommend avoiding this Doctor's office.  I do not believe this is a valid practice, and I do believe that this office is merely in vicarious existence under the status of a negligent licensed professional who is 95-100% geographically seprated from this office, and does not provide professional oversight of her staff, nor executes the typical standard of care found in the region.

    Dr. Basa does not provide adquate professional oversight of this office.  Staff are incompetent, and licensed professional work is vicariously delegated down by way of agency to a Nurse Practitioner named Sharon, and also, at often times, to the admin staff themselves, which in my case, often resulted in negligently sub-standard care. 

    Dr. Basa's primary means of professional oversight is by way of telework from Corona, CA.  I have never been made aware of her availability, nor have I ever met Dr. Basa.  Treatment for two conditions I have, that were discovered by Dr. Basa's office, were negligently delayed, and I don't believe professional discretion or due dilligence was exercised, nor a typical standard of care executed if such conditions were even made aware to the Doctor by Nurse Practitioner Sharon.  My conditions, were left untreated and ignored for 1.5 years, despite numerous follow up, verbal requests, and following "Sharon's orders" until I was dropped for convenience.  My quality of life was significantly deferred for reaons, given by the Nurse Practitioner "Sharon," that had no basis when presented to other Doctors in the region.

  • They were very well. They did teach him how to walk up and down the street with his walker and they taught him exercises. They helped him to know what to do and to do less strain on his back. They were here on time. They were very friendly.

  • My doctor was Dr. Grover and she works at Barstow to do endoscopy and colonoscopy. I had my colonoscopy and the same day surgery. The nurse did not put the needle in my vein right and therefore I didn’t have any sedative or any kind of pain medication. I was thriving on the table and asking them to quit. They did not realize that until I told them and made me through. When I was in the recovery room even that nurse in the recovery room let me know that the problem was that the pain killer wasn’t coming in me and she witnessed it at the veins. They couldn’t use that vein because it wasn’t in there. The nurse that put it in there said it was my fault and told that when I went to the bathroom I must have jarred it out. It was a terrible experience. All that the lady could say was that I moved it when I went to the rest room and she didn’t even apologize for me thriving on my table. This goes on into your intestine in your colon and you are not asleep or nothing. I was just moving around. It was awful. I don’t trust them anymore and I would not go there again.

  • He's fantastic. He's in Barstow which is a pretty little town. He's sees me in emergency. He sees me 7 days a week if needed. He's kind of like a country dentist and he's really a great guy. He's a gentle dentist and he doesn't scare me. I hate going to the dentist, but he's really a cool dentist. His office is very good. His staff is fantastic. They are very good. I would continue to use him in the future.
