    Adventure Center Powersports
Horrible....We took our bike to Abdventure Center the first time around April 12th for a basic "check-up". I needed to have tires checked, brakes checked, and the liquids checked. It was confirmed that the tires needed to be replaced, but also that the bar that holds the back tire was bent and needed to be replaced, that it was unsafe to drive. We of course consented to the work, which costed $520+ to fix. After about 2 weeks, we got the moped back and we heard noises like marbles were rolling around in the back tire and it sounded like a bubble machine. We took the bike back to the shop and they eventually called us to go down to the shop so they could show us what was wrong. It turns out, all of the bolts that they had put on had ALL fallen off!!!!! The crazy part, is when we picked it up, he wouldn't give me a warranty because he didnt because his work is good enough and he knows he does excellent work. So no need to worry. So, ALL of the new bolts came off. The shop had the moped for another two weeks, we got it back right before mothers day and it is now back in the shop. The brand new Pirelli tire he put on the moped is flat. No nail, screw, or cuts. Just no air. We told him to fix the bike, or give us our money back. He said "You're not getting your @$!#&% money back. You shouldn't have that piece of sh!$ in the road anyways!" He used this type of language a few times in the conversation. All we wanted him to do was check his own work, check the tire that he put on. Needless to say, we were LIVID!!! We are a mixed couple going to a motorcycle shop owned by an old white man. We hope its not racial bias, but the way he spoke to paying customers, what else could it be??? He wasn't doing us a favor, we paid for a service that was not rendered by his company. I had my child with me and there were other customers there!!!!!!!! And he treated us with such disrespect and the language he used in front of customers and in front of my child was irresponsible, unprofessional, and down rate disgusting.

Very professional and personal treatment. Work was performed in a timely manner. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Showed me exactly what was involved in the repairs and showed me the old parts plus all future repairs that may be needed. I have a Volkswagen Passat very expensive parts but Carlos worked his magic and got the job done at a fair price.

My name is Michelle Allred. I paid 2500 cash for a remanufactured engine in january of 2017. I paid up front in cash. I took my original engine down to have it machined and rebuilt. I took numbers off of my heads and also pistons, my heads were brand new and perfect. I received back head's with spark plugs that won't work. The numbers do not match and it's ugly. Mine was beautiful I also paid for new pistons I received old pistons covered in rust. I have a mechanic shop going over the orinight reciept, and they told me nothing was done. He flat out took my engine apart, took my good peices and replaced it with older messed up ones. Hugh or hughie the owner knew I was a single mother and have not had a car in over a year, it took me a year to save 3000$ to fix my truck and he ripped me off after he told me he was a christian. They never hot tank dipped my engine which I paid for as well, he also lost all my bolts to the interior of my engine and it took me over a week to get them back after he told me he lost them, then gave me all the extra bolts in the shop to me to get me out of his hair, and when i asked where the bolts came from, a mechanic told me the new guy took a bunch of bolts from a few different engines being worked on the same time as my engine, and mixed them up so some of my bolts are not mine... wow, so not only did he screw me, but he screwed the other customers in the shop as well. My email adress is I am a glassblower by trade (explaining my strange email) if you would like to know more you can contact me personally. I'm definantly willing to tell what hue did to me and my little girl. I hope he sleeps well at night. I guess since he's so old he's not only senile losing bolts, but he's gotta screw everyone he can til he's out. I am getting an attorney, my boss is actually paying for it, and will update my review with the ending scenario. good job huey your a stand up guy!!! A true Christian like you said... it's called karma, universal balancing of someone's ugly, bad and inhuman deeds and intentions. My daughter needed this truck. I needed it. And now because someone wanted to be a dishonest theif and creepy, so we still don't have a car, but like I said. He's dieing so his negative won't be here to hurt anyone else, hopefully sooner than later.25

The LOF, tire rotation and fluid exchange went OK it was the rest of the visit that was terrible. A day after I got the vehicle back i noticed a clanking/rattling sound under the hood. It sounded like something was loose. I was getting ready to take the vehicle back to the dealership when I decided to take a closer look at the service receipt. Upon closer inspection I see that they recommended that the front and side engine mounts were broken and needed to be replaced. My issue here is why didn't they call me with this info? I would have gladly agreed to have it taken care of right then and there. Why bother doing a multi-point inspection if you aren't going to report on what you find wrong? I have lost all confidence in Barber's service center and I refuse to reward bad customer service with additional business. I won't be buying my next Pilot there either.

Hugh Reynolds rebuilt the engine in my 69 Mustang almost 10 years ago and he has performed machine work for me on two other engines. He does exactly what he says he will do and no surprises. I still have the Mustang and the engine still fires right up and there were zero issues with the rebuild. I'm getting ready to contact him again for the rebuild on my other 70 Mach 1. If you've never been to his shop, you will be impressed by the surgically clean environment.

    Nissan of Bakersfield

Went in for a standard oil & filter change at my 67,500 service.  A few months earlier I had been in for a 60,000 mile service as recommended by the owners manual.  Upon picking up my car from Nissan following the 67,500 service, it was noted that I needed a transmission service, new engine oil/filter, and new windshield wipers.  All of these issues had been serviced at my 60,000 mile service that cost me ~$700.  Either Nissan did a terrible job on my 60,000 service or I am being lied to now and they are telling me I need services that I don't really need.  I vetted my frustrations with the dealership representatives and was told the manager would give me a call to discuss the situation.  It is a week later and I have yet to receive a call.  I will not be returning to the Nissan dealership where I have lost my trust in there services.

It starts and it's great. They're really good. We've had our truck for over 12 years and we've been going there. It's an old truck. It has just a few miles on it because it just sits all the time. Now, we try to start it once every couple of weeks. When it starts, it runs good.

They are always honest. They are very prompt and finish the work in the time frame they say they will. The workers are great, Every one is always smiling. My car is always clean and returned to me the way I dropped it off to them. They also have people who will take you back and forth to where you need to be while your car is being serviced.
