ASOD Home GroupSOD Home Group is seriously the best group of people to work with! They turned around my complete house - kitchens, bathrooms, floors, patio, backyard and studio were all renovated. It was a complete overhaul and a tremendous job. Everything was so well done, but in particular I need to give a shout out to the work they did converting the garage into an open plan studio unit I can now Airbnb. That work is truly beautiful and has been noticed by guests and realtors for its quality! To give you some context–before SOD Home Group redid my house, it was an old house that had been shown little love over the years. The original bathrooms were in such a sad state–the showers leaked into the basement whenever the water ran. There was little to no natural light in the house at all. Eden from SOD Home Group helped me to redesign the entire house to modernize it into a beautiful home! Oren oversaw the entire project for 18 months so really so much credit for this job goes to him (see further down for even more of my recommendation!) We started with the bathrooms, which was a complete overhaul of the tiling, toilet, shower, vanity, etc. For the shower, they tarred and sealed the base of the shower completely–which has turned out beautifully. Then we did the kitchen which again was a complete overhaul job. Cabinets, countertop, appliances, cutting a hole in the wall to accommodate the new countertop island… it was all handled so well! Then we did floors… for the entire house! These floors are gorgeous–they’re treated reclaimed barn wood with beautiful texture and grain. I recommend asking for them to be double waxed (just my preference) because I like to make sure they’re very smooth, but some people prefer the rougher texture under foot. All the walls inside and outside the house were completely painted. We worked hard to figure out the color scheme. Oren has a great sense of color–he was such a great help in this process!!! I went with a simple gray and white for the exterior paint, which let the natural red brick and wood of the craftsman shine through! I’m so happy with the results–it makes the house look brand new!!! Then the Pearl team moved on to the garage/studio conversion. This was such an epic job I can’t even describe!!! As we began digging, we found that the old garage unit was missing a foundation! Because of city regulations, we couldn’t move any of the existing walls in the remodel, so Oren and his amazing team actually dug under the existing structure and installed a cement foundation!!! This was an epic undertaking and we followed the city codes very closely. Everything was done to code and done amazingly well! The results really speak for themselves, so look at the photos–I now have a 400 sq ft open plan self-contained studio I can rent or AirBnB for additional income! And finally, the team moved on to the backyard and patio! This involved knocking down existing brick wall and digging up 6ft deep concrete installed by the previous owner, which was a complete eyesore to the property! My backyard isn’t big enough to accommodate a bobcat, so the team spent weeks digging up this concrete slab with jackhammers and shovels! What was installed in its place is a beautiful firepit, garden wall, and a new cedar wood fence. They also installed pavers as footpath and new garden boxes for growing herbs. Oren also brought in a team to install a patio cover, which now provides beautiful shade for parties during the day! SOD Home Group did such a great job throughout the whole house, were so professional, and really went out of their way to make sure everything was the best. I had my home revalued shortly after the renovation and it skyrocketed in value because of the work from SOD Home Group. Finally, if you get the chance to be so lucky, ask to work with Oren. You’ll be thankful you did! I’ve worked with him for the past 18 months and I can say without a doubt he put his heart into the project and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the results. He has impeccable taste, attention to detail, and a big heart for his clients - all winning combinations for a stellar project manager! He has a wonderful network of people who can get him the best deals on materials - he’s loved and trusted by his team! Oren follows up with his clients to make sure everything is working perfectly and to make sure you are truly happy with the result. Oren is a truly good, honest and hardworking guy and I’d work with him again in a heartbeat! I cannot recommend SOD Home Group and Oren and his team highly enough! ASOD Home GroupSOD Home Group did an outstanding remodeling job in remodeling the bathrooms, kitchen, exterior & interior paint, bedrooms and the front hardscape at my house. The work included complete demolition, new tiles, new flooring, new custom vanities, new fixtures and plumbing, electrical, painting and every little detail to complete the project. My key contact person at SOD Home Group was Oren, who was always responsive when I had questions. They completed the project on time and the quality of the work was excellent. ASOD Home GroupThis was our second complete remodeling with Oren and SOD Home Group. The first time we hired him was for our investment house that we purchased and this time was for our new home. This remodeling went much better than the first (considering the COVID-19). This remodeling included basically each and every space including the complete remodeling of the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, entry, front landscape and back yard. Oren is very easy to deal with and contributes a lot of value-added ideas to the design. We did not live near the new home (because it was part of our relocation) and he’s was very flexible in dealing with us by emails, and video calls including handling many stuff for us. He hired the right people to do the plans and fought with the city and made sure everything was in compliance during a pandemic. ASystem PaversMy wife and I could not be happier with our project from System Pavers. Estella, our project manager, was absolutely a joy to work with. She arrived exactly when she said she would and she was accessible and responsive throughout the project. Everything turned out exactly as promised. We also cannot say enough wonderful things about the construction crew. What an amazing group of human beings. Honestly, we have never seen anyone work as hard and fast as this team. They began removing nearly 1500 sq ft of concrete and replaced the area with pavers and a new fire pit in our courtyard and had the entire job completed in 5 days. They were attentive to every detail and after everyday of work they left the work area clean and organized. APreferred Home Builders IncWe were looking for a reliable contractor and found Preferred Home Builders Angie's List. Our intent was to replace our current gas fireplace with a modern unit and increase the overall size of the fireplace structure to accommodate a new 75" flat screen TV. Additionally, we wanted to polish/seal our concrete floors and kitchen counter tops and to replace a rusted out upstairs patio railing. We met with one of their contractors, who remained with us for the remainder of the project. Needless to say, Itay personified his Company's 5 star reputation by delivering outstanding service and a fantastic finished product. He was with us during every step of the process and assisted us during both tile and fireplace selection, which we did on the same day. He even took us out to lunch that day, which we greatly enjoyed. We were particularly impressed with his approach to the project and his/their efforts to reduce our personal inconvenience during construction. As many know, living with a home remodel (of any type) can be a nightmare. In this case, we highly recommend Preferred Home Builders and in particular Itay and Alexandria for a job well done!- Michael W.

AWe have used US Home Developers before, and had them remodel our bathroom and scrape/resurface our acoustic ceilings in three rooms. Everything turned out very well. The shower was completely redone and modernized, and we are pleased with the result. Kris kept us informed every step of the way. The workers were very conscientious with masks and social distancing. Finally, we are very happy with the updates to the lights and fan in the bathroom. We would highly recommend US Home Developers for any project, and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I had seen the quality of his work and knew that in addition to wanting the end product to be beautiful and high quality, I also wanted the security in knowing that they would take care of every step along the way so that we would never be worried if it would get done on time and how it would ultimately turn out. They were 100% the right choice. Kris and team communicated regularly, showed up when they said they would, communicated any changes in a timely manner, collaborated on creative decisions, and made the process as painless as possible. In the end, they finished on time and we love our new kitchen. They are not the least expensive choice but any difference in price with a competitor I believe was well worth it because of the quality and overall experience we had. AProfessional, friendly crew. Very responsive. We had wall insulation blown in, which meant the crew needed to patch and fill over 100 quarter-sized holes before they could start painting. The team spent a solid week patching, scraping, cleaning the walls in preparation for the the paint. Once the project was done, the quality of their work was evident - no signs of any holes or patch work. They also accommodated a request to repaint the chimney/stone veneer as we’d chosen the wrong color. Overall great company to work with and I’d readily recommend them to anyone seeking good house painters.

BWith our 350ft new room addition, Olympia Construction did try to sit down with us to work with our budget, give us free rein on what fixtures we would like to put in, and give us input and advice on design, I just wish Ryan’s shared more of his expertise in the areas where we unknowledgeable like light fixtures choices before installing. There were some disagreements and unclear objectives which should addressed in the contract. Make sure all the measurements are on point and everything you want is in the contract, including if you want them there at the work site at least every working week day. Lock in your completion date. His foreman was great. Overall it was a nice experience.

AI had called 8 other companies and they wanted to do unnecessary work at extremely high prices. We were referred b another company on Angie’s List, who explained we really needed a waterproof coating. I then Spoke to the owner of Fiber Coat Deck Company, and he immediately knew what we needed to stop the leak and prevent it from recurring with a special fiberglass coating used by his company. He even gave a warranty when other companies weren’t even sure that their high priced work wood fix the problem. They were amazing and even sealed around areas the HOW had moved that contributed to the leakage. They put on very professional drain covers and corrected the tilt so the water would actually drain like they should. There has been no leak since. They only took 2 days and the work is excellent quality and looks amazing. The cost was between 1/2 and 1/4th of what other companies put in their bids and they could not guarantee their work. They were honest, professional, competent, on time and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the services of Fiber-Coat Deck Company.

AWe had overall quite a positive experience with Eli and Donna doing an extensive remodel (starting with gutting): we redid the kitchen/dining room and a bathroom in a contemporary style, and created of a small laundry room, in our 60-year-old home. Quality First is far from the cheapest, so not for everyone, but the service level is high, and the quality seems to be as well. Anything that isn't quite right will be fixed. Donna has a great eye for design but she generally provides well-thought-out options and lets the customer specify, unless her preference is explicitly requested. Communication between designer and general contractor is good because they're a couple! Things were generally done right the first time, and on the rare occasions they weren't, it was fixed promptly. Eli has a forceful personality which one might have to resist occasionally, but always trustworthy and honest. We are very happy with our beautiful new kitchen, bath, and laundry!
