Outstanding. We couldn't be any happier with our quartz countertops. Abe at marble and granite import had great ideas about our kitchen design and the counters turned out perfect! They even finished early! I couldn't believe it.

For a long time I postponed having my really old--as in original, from 1957--cabinets replaced. Ditto my tile countertops, even when I had to spend hours cleaning the grout. Too many horror stories from friends who had kitchen remodels that took many months, with lots of stops and starts and calling to make sure contractors were coming. With Sligh, I picked the cabinets and countertop, they gave me a date and stuck to it 100 percent. I hired a contractor from their list--CK Builders--and they were wonderful. The whole thing, from visiting the showroom, to getting everything measured, to having the kitchen demoed and having new cabinets, etc. installed, took less than three months. The tear-down and renovation took an unbelievable three weeks!!!! Sligh is phenomenal.

    Berry Construction & Restoration, Inc.
Berry Construction did an amazing job helping us to recover from a major flood caused by a plumbing problem. Randy worked with the insurance company to maximize our claim process. Mike did a great job managing the various crews. Billy helped us to stay within our budget to select fixtures, tile and other essentials. We are very pleased with the results.

On every aspect of the job, we were more than satisfied. Casey's attention to quality and detail go beyond what you even hope for, let alone expect. He takes your plans as a starting point, and then makes suggestions on how to make them better. Not more expensive, just better. There are a lot of examples I could share, but he was constantly providing suggestions on how to improve upon what was on the design set...improved locations for data ports, providing more underground conduit to avoid overhead wires, locations of switches so they are most convenient for how you live, adding in-wall conduit so HDMI and other cables can be later fed through walls and not visible. He really brings focus to details. And the big things...he kept us on budget and on schedule. We are not rich by any means and he understood we were on a set budget. He kept us on track the whole time and delivered beautifully for us. We were out of the house for 4 months total...very impressive since it was brought down to the ground, and then rebuilt. On top of all that, his team is first rate. They were 100% professional, very friendly and made the experience manageable...even enjoyable. After almost a year later and there are zero signs of any cracks in drywall, doors and windows still work and electrical all perfect. I figured we would see at least a few little flaws come through, but the quality is first rate. If you can get Casey and his team, get them. You won't be disappointed. Darren and Kerry Brown

    Green Goods
Everything went great. They did a great job. I've used them several times over the past 2 years. I've purchased flooring from them twice, a bathroom countertop, tile, etc.

    San Luis Marble
We were working with a building contractor who managed all the scheduling of work by other subs. The contractor had several delays, and we made a change in the shape of the island countertop. These in turn had a domino effect on the timing for San Luis Marble and Granite's work here. If there were other issues about the installation of the granite countertop, my husband and I were not aware of them.

    Cal Coast Construction
Mike was great in listening to what we wanted and making suggestions. He didn't try to oversell us items we didn't need.  For example, we felt our cabinets were fine and he agreed. We asked if we should reface them and he told us that refacing cabinets can be labor intensive and doing so isn't a way to save money. Another designer said that putting new countertops on existing cabinets was "tacky" and yet my kitchen looks amazing as if the counters and cabinets were installed together. Mike's team was careful and didn't make one mark on the cabinets when they took off the old counter. I liked all the sub work as well. Glass tile looked great, the quartz countertops were perfect, and the electrical and plumbing work was done well, too. They installed the new appliances quickly and we've had no issues so far. Everyone showed up on time or contacted us if they were going to be late (which was rare -- I believe we had just one day where the electrician had to reschedule). They kept dust to a minimum by putting up plastic to contain the area and cleaned up every day before they left, both inside and out. Total job took about 3 weeks, just like Mike said.  I would definitely recommend Cal Coast Construction and will use them in the future.

    Custom Care Cleaning & Restoration
It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a good job. It was a large area and I paid additional for the countertop and island. They were a good company.

    Paul D. Emrick - Total Home Maintenance/Handyman
My wife and I are new to this area and live in a senior community. We first contacted Paul to wash our windows. We were happy with his work and had him do a few more odd jobs. By that time we had some larger projects in mind like refinishing our countertops and laying new flooring. The list grew as we realized that at our ages we were not able to do much of what we wanted done. Paul has become like one of the family. We continue to add to our list of items for him to do. He takes great pride in his work and is not satisfied until it meets his high expectations. He has a wide range of skills and can do a lot of different jobs, which is great for us. His hourly rate is quite reasonable. We highly recommend Paul without reservation.

It went pretty well. There were a couple of little glitches. We had contracted him ourselves because he had done some granite work several years ago for us and we were very pleased with his work. He didn't get here exactly when he had planned to because he had had a little accident. It wasn't his fault by any means. That put him back by a couple of days, but everything worked out okay. He did a terrific job.
