  • Nova Heating and Air Conditioning performed a swamp cooler installation for me on a house in Atwater, CA when my tenant found that the unit was not turning on. I was in touch with Fermin, the owner of Nova Heating and Air Conditioning, who from the beginning was highly professional and responsive. He did his best to restore and fix my old unit, which admittedly was behind in its service -- but it was an old unit and needed replacement. I made the decision to install a new unit, and Fermin did this in good time and with great precision. My tenant informed me that Fermin was dedicated to his work, and wanted the installation to be perfect, so he put a lot of effort into getting things just right. I will continue to use Fermin to service my other rental properties as he's reasonable, does fantastic work, and is a genuinely nice guy. Don't hesitate for a second to contact Nova Heating and Air Conditioning for any related needs.

  • When I first submitted my request for service, I was a little hesitant because our a/c was not working at all, it was going to be 100 degrees that day and I the earliest I could choose my appointment was the following day.  Within two hours of submitting my request the receptionist called me and put me in direct contact with the repair man so I could explain the problem to him.  Once I explained the problem to him, he stated he would not be able to respond to my house but would make sure somebody could respond.  About two hours after talking to the repair man, someone was at my front door ready to look at my a/c.  He was extremely courteous and professional.  He diagnosed my problem within minutes of being there and showed me the parts that were broken and took his time to answer any questions we had.  When he came inside, he even wore covers over his shoes, to male sure he didn't make our floor dirty.  Overall I was extremely impressed with this company and will be using them for any and all of my repairs.

  • The A/C system they installed in my new home worked the first year. The second year I called and scheduled the yearly service to keep up with the warranty which had a 10 year as long as I did the yearly service. Well, I had not used the A/C at all due to the great cool weather but wanted to have it serviced before the hot weather. The tech person came out he seemed friendly he did the service and said that everything looked good and said that I should not have any issues due to the system being new and I was keeping up with the yearly service. We were happy then two weeks later we ended up using the A/C after a few hours I noticed a leak in the ceiling where the dual system is in the attic. I called Arms and they came out the next day (different tech person). The new tech person went in the attic and came down and said that the (water pan) they call it was cracked. I went up to the attic with him and he showed me wear it was cracked which the part is made out hard plastic. I told him that no one else had been up in the attic but there tech person and that we used the A/C last year with no issues. He stated well I don't know sir but these things do crack every now and then I stated and quot;yes, when someone is not careful and steps on itand quot;. He did not respond. I asked for the tech person that did the service to come out and see what he had done. I was informed by the current tech person that that guy did not work for the company anymore. I stated and quot; I wonder whyand quot;. He then went out to his truck and came out with the service bill for the call and an outrageous quote to replace the water pan $800. I was like I'm not paying for this you guys broke it you guys fix it. I went back and forth with the tech guy I told him that the A/C worked fine last year with no leaks and now after getting serviced it had a water leak in the pan. He stated he was sorry for thinking that they had broke it. I went back and for with them with no luck. Good thing the house was still under warranty and they ended up fixing it and it only cost my only $150.00 better than 800.00 and so far no issues. I'm irritated due to this company did not even try to fix there mistake that there employee did and I know accidents happen so just fix it and it's all good, instead of trying to make me pay for there mistakes. I have had a few friends and family change there service with other companies due to what happened to me. So, save yourself the head ache. It used to be a good company I don't know who's running it know I just hope they take responsibility when stuff like this happens...

  • They know their stuff and explain everything. We have had no trouble with the work they have done. The price is definitely worth it and they are professional and knowledgeable. I will use them again in the future.

  • Well, the first time we used the A/C water leaked into our ceiling so, I called ARMS which they proptly showed up during the inspection they found the water condensation tray was cracked and the furnace was leaning causing water to collect and water to run through the cracked water tray onto the ceiling. Even though we had used the A/C all last summer with no leak's or problems until the service was done did we have problems. I asked the service guy how come during the service inspection the tray was not found to be cracked and why did they not notice the furnace leaning during the inspection which he had no answer. I asked for the person that had done the service and I was informed that he did not work for the company anymore. To top it off they gave me an estimate of over $800.00 to replace the tray and level off the furnace. I will never use this company or recommend it to friends or family. Infact some family already changed to other local A/C service providers. What most p***** me off the most is that I have spent over $10,000.00 with this company and this is how treat loyal customers.
