    John Dittenhoefer
We needed a contractor to help us through an extensive remodel of our home, including: Installing an EVSE unit to charge our car; complete renewal & relocation our HVAC system; replumbing gas/water lines & installation of tankless water heater; and all aspects of a major kitchen remodel (removing walls, framing new walls, raising a dropped ceiling, lights, flooring, etc.). In all cases Dittenhoefer Construction (DC) came through with flying colors. In particular the HVAC: we had 4 companies review our situation and ONLY DC offered an approach that accomplished all objectives. We were delighted with the quality, timeliness & cost of what had seemed to be an impossible project. In fact, 1 company said it couldn't be done. But we've had 11 months of living in a home with quiet, efficient, economical HVAC to prove them wrong! Thank you, DC Team. We could go on & on about their skills. A strength that we especially appreciated is they made suggestions that, without exception, offered something we hadn't seen or thought about. Their expertise & knowledge can't be overstated. Lastly, the DC team treated us with respect, cleaned up after each day, & overall were a pleasure to have in the house. We look forward to our next project with them!

    Hernandez Electrical Services
Marco and his workers were outstanding. I was very impressed on how fast he diagnosed our electrical problems. We had previously hired an electrician to re-wire our exterior lights and perform some other work. When the work was finished the exterior lights would not work. We hired Marco to help diagnose the issue. He was super fast and fair. I would definitely use him again. They did great work!

    Joe Young Construction
Joe was very easy to work with, and did excellent work. His prices were very reasonable, and he often threw in things at no extra cost, which was wonderful! One of the things that I really appreciated was that he responded back to me promptly whenever I texted him. True to any business, there were times when unexpected things came up and he had to postpone work that he had planned to be doing for me on a certain day, but he always communicated these issues to me, and when I had something that really needed to be done right away (such as getting the plumbing to the washing machine fixed on a weekend) he found a way to make it happen. I will definitely be hiring Joe to do work for me again in the future.

    COREfficiency, Inc.
Overall, the work that Blake and his foreman,Travis did looks good and appears professional. We love the dimmable light output and we appreciate the lighting solution they suggested for the utility room. What I had to go through to get the job done is why I would not hire the business,Corefficiency again. Blake and Travis were very polite, easy to work with, professional men while on the job. Prior to the job,Blake seemed to have difficulty following up with communication responsibilities. We weren't hearing from him and were at the point thinking that he was just blowing us off, leaving us hanging. When I would call,he would come up with excuses that would put off our project until finally I had enough. He eventually convinced me that he wanted to do the job. The date was set (again) and the job accomplished.

Ducting Repair: 4 appointments were needed to cover installation. One to do first consultation and price quote. Two to start doing installation, which stopped because communication in company was inconsistent with first consultation. Three to install ducting. Four to fix multiple errors in ducting. Solar Consultation: 3 appointments with sales rep. Each one put more of a bad taste in our mouth, and we went with a different company. Jeff, the sales person, was condescending, uppity, and really one of the worst sales people I've ever dealt with.

    Ground Up Builders
Everyone was very professional. Gregg Ledergerber was the project manager and took a lot of time making sure that I understood the benefit of going solar. Gregg was involved from start to finish and follow up afterwards. The office was calling as soon as it was done. I would recommend this company to anyone. We are very lucky to have Ground up Builders coming to our county Phoeba

    Solarponics
I was very pleased with the entire project. They were professional, price competitive and punctual. They even did an on-site shade study to determine the system requirements and predicted performance.

We researched solar for about 6 months, getting detailed bids from 5 companies, 3 of which gave bids on site. (We joked that exploring solar was our new full time hobby for the year!)  A close neighbor had recommended Solarponics twice to us. The Solarponics representative, Lawler, was very patient with us and met with us in person at least 3 times. He was extremely well versed in all aspects of solar and went into great detail with us each time. He also did everything in his power to meet our budget needs. The second important thing that he did for us was to encourage us to research the PG&E rate plans to figure out other ways (in addition to the solar panels) to bring down our electrical usage and costs.  We worked hard at updating a few very old appliances, signing up with a different PG&E plan and changing our electrical usage patterns so that the solar installation could cover most of our usage. (We only wish that we had known about the differences in the PG&E rate plans years ago and that changing a few bad energy habits was easy and not painful!)
We have an all electric house (except for propane for our stove cook-top) and I am happy to report that our bills have gone from over $260/month prior to solar and are now under $5/month with solar.
After the installation there were a few glitches in the inside controller and Solarponics quickly sent techs out to our house to take care of the parts that needed replacement.
    We highly recommend this company!

    FRENCH ELECTRIC
The new fixtures were installed in less than an hour, and they provided an attractive, inexpensive update to a home built in 1979. The final cost was only half of the original estimate! (He laughed when I asked if it was a mistake.) The tricky part was finding a time to have the work done, because he was booked up about two weeks out.

Excellent.  Installers were courteous, on time and did a complete job.  Office staff were also great to talk to and deal with.  I wish all my construction experiences would go as well as this one.
