    The Fencing Pro Inc
I spoke with the scheduler and she said, somebody will call me back to schedule an appointment. A week passed with no calls. I called the office again and same day a installer called me. We spoke on my requirements and the installer told that they need $37 visitation fees for the installer to come and check my home and give an estimate. I have called other providers who have agreed to come and give a free estimate. I do not plan to call The Fencing Pro and pay $37 when I can have other fencing professionals come and do the same estimate for free. Thanks

Hendricks BHB Iron Gates & Ironworks
Tony was great to work with, from the initial quote, where he offered his expert suggestions through the manufacturing process - he built the gates and fences himself and they came out great - to the final installation, which went off without a hitch. Along the way, he was friendly, responsive and professional and came up with great solutions on the spot to each minor obstacle we came across. The final product came out great and we're considering extending the fence he installed we liked it so much!

    Vinyl Concepts
We live in Cerritos and the city is very "concerned" about the look of the city. They have not approved any vinyl fencing that does not have a "wood grain" look. Vinyl concepts can not supply such a product. We canceled the work order and are not trying to get our deposit back. They say it is "no problem" but the person in charge is "on vacation" and will be returning "next week."
    We shall see.

    Alex Fence
I did use a fence person and the company name is Alex Fence. That experience was good. He was very prompt. They did a good job. They did everything they said they were going to do on time. They were local to us and I tend to stay with people that are local in case of a problem.

    Certified Home Improvements Inc
Aaron, the owner is very professional.  He was very clear about the work to be performed and met our expectations without a hitch.
Aaron was also called upon to do some additional tasks that the city asked for and Aaron completed these tasks in a timely manner and did not add the cost of the additional hours he spent working with the city.
We have some additional work that needs to be done and Certified Home Improvements will be the first call I make.

    Stump Fence Co.
Emailed Stump Fence via Angie List and received a prompt reply. Email back and forth some of the details and agreed the price range over email. This was one gate, not ornate, so must of the details could be done with a cell phone photo and a little Photoshop. After agreeing to a ball park price, Terry came out for the final measurement and estimate. As promised the estimate was in my inbox and we agreed to the work.
Installation was quick with no fuss. The installers were professional and took the time to take care of the details (e.g. painting the bolts the same color as the fence) Very impressed with that level of detail.
Great job and will definitely use them in the future

    Vinyl Concepts
I recently purchased a home with one poorly made wooden gate, and one completely rusted steel gate.  I was contemplating having both repaired when I saw my neighbor's very  nice vinyl gate, which had a Vinyl Concepts sticker on it.  The gate construction was much nicer than any other vinyl fence or gate I had seen before, so I called them to get a quote.
Scott Scheur from the Torrance office stopped by the following week and provided me with an estimate on the spot.  Replacing both of my large gates was over $3k, but that included a pretty extensive installation that would require cutting out some of my existing concrete and digging holes to pour concrete forms.
Unfortunately, after speaking with my city permit office, I discovered that they do not allow standard vinyl fences or gates.  They have an obscure requirement that vinyl fences or gates must look like wood.  While Vinyl Concepts does have a faux-wood vinyl product, the bright reddish brown color would not look good at all with my house and was not a viable option for me.
Scott was as baffled as I, but he was extremely accommodating and available to answer my questions and discuss possible options to see if the city would allow alternatives.
Given the city restrictions, I had to cancel my order.  Scott was very responsive and provided me with a refund of my deposit.
I was hoping to avoid the maintenance of wood or metal, but I'm now stuck with trying to replace my gates with one of those two materials, which will require regular maintenance and will not last nearly as long as a vinyl gate.
If you want a top quality nice looking vinyl fence or gate, I definitely recommend Vinyl Concepts.

    Caage Fence
The representative was prompt and friendly in response to my voice mail message regarding services. He was also quick to set up a time to come to my home to review the job of repairing and painting my wrought iron and wood fence. He arrived on schedule. When he assessed the job, he indicated that he would e-mail an estimate in a couple of days that delineated the repair from the paint work. He felt he would be competitive with others on the repair, but that he might not be on the painting since that was not their forte.
The estimate never arrived. I checked e-mail and spam-mail regularly for about two weeks. Neither did I receive other follow-up. This was disappointing and the reason for the low rating.

    Tom's Iron Works
Tom's Iron Works repaired my wrought iron fence.  He replaced two rusted sections by cutting them out and putting two new pole sections in.  He replaced a small 2x3 section and welded on the original decorative piece to the new section.  He painted the new parts.  He spent about 5 hours doing the job.  A new complete wrought fence would have been around $900.  I was able to get the repair done for $280.  I would used them again

    Tom's Iron Works
Prompt response to call for service.  Got quote and agreed to job.  Showed up on time and finished job in 3 hours.  Gate looks great and quality is top notch.  Only problem is left some smudges on wall and walkway.
