Appliance Repair reviews in Artesia

    Wilshire Refrigeration & Appliance Inc.
They were fine. They knew how to fix the refrigerator and the freezer and they did the work. They didn't show up when they were supposed to and they kept me waiting there a long time. They should show up on time and not be so expensive.

You want to avoid them at all costs. I have a $10,000 fridge that they screwed up. They tried to fix it over three months. They took a part and sent it in for repairs. They brought the wrong part back and didn't even know that's what they did. My fridge was rendered useless because they lost the part. They took no responsibility for losing it.

Called in the morning and they had an opening from 2-3pm.  Igor arrived promptly 15 minutes early.
Initially gave us options to weigh purchasing a new oven and repairing current one.  Estimated repair could be maximum $400.  After removing oven from cabinet and inspecting, was able to determine it was the wires.   Replaced and tested successfully.
Ended up being $185 total.  Was in and out in about 45 minutes.
Very satisfied.   Igor had a great sense of humor which is always a plus in my book.  Would definitely hire again in the future.

    Appliance Guard
He came all the way to my new home in Artesia. He found damaged gaff coils and had to install a valve kit. He fixed it and it is still running. He even gave me a 20% discount on my labor so my dryer was up and running for only $156.00. Boris is the nicest person. They are very prompt, professional and friendly. Most importantly they are not trying to hose you.

    Sears Appliance Repair
The repairman who came out was very good and he came back twice. He diagnosed the problem and repaired the dishwasher. He had to get the special part and then he came back and fixed it up the next day but I did not compare their price with other companies.

    Airflow Appliance Repair
The repairman was very hard to understand. He kept changing quotes. Dropped a screw in the refrigerator and told me I could find it later. In the quote I was given he was supposed to remove light bulb so I could find it.. Repairman said it was too hard but still charged me for the work. Didn't clean after himself.

    Bellflower Lakewood Appliance Center
My 20 year old side-by-side refrigerator/freezer started to warm up although the fan and compressor seemed to be working. After adjusting the settings and cleaning the coils it started to work again. After reading reviews on Angies List, I called Bellflower Lakewood Appliance to set up a service call to diagnose the problem and take preventive steps. The person I talked to explained several possibilities but recommended against a service call as nothing was currently broken. She advised waiting for the problem to reoccur and then they would come out with a much better and faster solution to the problem. I was very impressed with her advise and responsiveness. If or when there is a problem with any of my appliances, I will definitely call them first.

All American Smart Appliance repair Co
Very well.  I recieved a return call very quickly.  Receptionist was very helpful and curteous.  I was unable to take off work for a 4 hour window so service man called while on the way and I was able to get home to meet him.   He found the problem quickly and tried to locate a replacement part but was unable.  He did find a part over 30 miles and advised he would return the following day with the part.  He turned the water  to the dishwasher off to stop the leaking.  I did have to call the following day to find out the timeframe.  He was late due to the LA traffic coming from Northridge area to Cerritos area.  I had an appointment  so when he arrived he worked very quickly to replaced the part so I could be on my way.  He was very professional, proficient and also very apologetic for being late.

    Dirksen's Appliance and Service
I called on a Friday afternoon and they said the could have a service agent at my home on Saturday morning. He arrived Saturday morning and inspected the stovetop. It needs several parts which, of course, must be ordered from the manufacturer. He was very efficient and knew the unit well. We have previously used Dirksen's for service and have always been completely satisfied. They are competent and not overly expensive. They are also a local firm with roots in the community.

    Dirksen's Appliance and Service
We had some problems with our front loading washer. It needed a door lock. I think the technician has to come back again, as I don?t think that the problem has been fixed. We thought he had repaired two things, but he has to come back and check if the second thing that he was working on has worked or not. We had used their services once before to repair our refrigerator. They were good at that time and did a very good job. So, we called them again. Everything was working fine, but now we are facing the same problem again with the washer. I would not be able to comment on their price, as I haven?t compared their price with any other company. I am waiting to see as to what would happen when he comes out to get everything fixed again.
