    Berry Construction & Restoration, Inc.
Everything was ordered and shipped to their office so I didn't have to have the vanity and the tub stored in my house. Once they received all the materials they came and started the work. The whole process was very well coordinated and they showed up every day for 11 days straight. They cleaned up at the end of the day. They put down plastic on the flooring to protect it. At the end of the 11 days I had a brand new beautiful bathroom. They had helpful suggestions and my bathroom looks perfect! It was much simpler than I thought it would be and they made it look so easy!

    Ground Up Builders
We had our solar project done by Ground Up Builders. Gregg Ledergerber, the sales rep., was easy to work with, explained the advantages and disadvantages of the different solar panel systems several times to me with very little sales pressure. He was there for the entire process, and he continues to stay in contact with us to make sure all is working properly. Additionally his work crew were prompt and very helpful. Completed the job in a few days. They installed on the metal roof of my workshop building which other companies stated that it could not be done. My bill went from an average of $400 to $22 a month which is the meter fee from PG&E. I have had absolutely no electric usage charge. I would recommend this company for all your solar needs. Please ask for Gregg Ledergerber, (818)535-1500

    5 Star Electric
Given the fact that it was the day before New Years, we were having the most difficult time finding someone to fix an electrical problem that was causing our landline phones and security system to stop working.  This was especially concerning since we are a small business.  Bruce took the time to show up at the time we requested, fixed the problem immediately and could not be nicer to deal with.  He knows his trade well, and is very trustworthy.  I will definitely call him in the future for all electrical issues.

    Hot Leg Electric
Ryan came to make a bid on my small lighting job and stayed to start & finish it to my great satisfaction.  Personable, knowledgeable, professional and affordable = Ryan of Hot Leg Electric.  I'll call him again for other small projects I have around this old house and I recommend him to you.

    Paul D. Emrick - Total Home Maintenance/Handyman
Paul was a little late, but he called to let us know he is running behind schedule.  Once at the house, he got right to work, did what he had to do, discussed our options, and fixed the deck issues.
He is very polite and professional and I believe his rates to be very competitive.

    Dalton Electric
Just one employee came out to make an estimation on the work in roughly fifteen minutes time. It was unclear exactly what the estimate was for. I emailed for an explanation and I still haven't heard back on. The estimate for the service panel and a splice on a wire. The uncertainty is whether or not the estimate covers both of these.

    Village Handyman
It was nothing about the quality that he would do, but we came up with some other projects we needed done and we thought that the other electrician that came after him was just more familiar with that type of electrical work than Garrett was. It was kind of getting complicated. We had added on a lot of other electrical problems that we had to the list, so when the electrician came out, he did seem he was the more the person to hire. We almost hired Garrett but it just got way above what we thought it was going to be. It became really complicated work and we just thought that we better go with somebody else since it was electric work. He did a really good job on what he did last time. He is very good with repairing minor problems.

    Thoma Electric

The electrician arrived on time, and was very professional in appearance and manner.  After he took care of the obvious flaws pointed out by the home inspector, he went over my list of items to check.  In the case of the 3-way switch in the laundry room, he found it was wired in such a way that the ground wiring was hot!!  He removed the ceiling fixture, and discovered it was not only done incorrectly, it posed a definite fire hazard.  Even though this was something that had to be corrected, he called me in, showed me the problem, and explained how and why it had to be fixed so I'd know about what it was going to cost.  Other items on my list were cosmetic issues rather than safety issues, and he asked me before he did each one, giving me an estimate of the time it would take if I wanted him to do them.

Before the electrician left, he gave me a shopping list for some items I wanted to replace (ceiling fan, smoke arms, CO alarm, lighting fixtures etc.) so that I'd know what the existing wiring/boxes could support - particularly helpful to me in regard to what the box for the ceiling fan could support.  As soon as I find the fan and fixtures, I'll have Thoma back to install them.

The electrician arrived at 7:30 AM and left at 3:00 PM - never took a break, didn't spend any time on his cell phone - he worked!

    Dunn Construction
The work went great.  The construction team was very polite & professional.  They handled everything from the framing to the electrical to painting the drywall after it was hung. There was a wall mounted light that needed to be moved and after they moved it and repainted it, it looks like the light has always been there.

When the project was complete they spent time cleaning and vacuuming the work area so there wasn't any mess for us to clean up at all.  I was very happy with their services.
