    Fine Builders Inc
We contacted Fine builders based on a recommendation that we got from our neighbor who has used them for their remodeling recently. The crew at Fine builders were very skilled and professional, polite and did an amazing work remodeling our kitchen, two of our bathrooms (including the master bathroom) and our master bedroom. Because we were living at the house while the remodeling was in progress, they made sure to clean the working areas every day before they left the house and they made sure to minimize disruptions to our day to day activities. Daniel was the our main person that handled all the details and crew and he was always available for us during the work making sure that we are happy and satisfied with each stage of the work. The remodeling project was completed a little bit before the promised schedule and we couldnt be happier with the final result!

    Curtis Construction Services
Daniel was hired recently by us to do a major remodeling project for us which involved the replacement of the old flooring, room addition (which we used as additional bedroom for our kids), new and modern kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We met and interviewed 5 contractors (after we had our blue prints of the new design) and when we met and talked to Daniel, we knew immediately that he is the best fit for our remodeling. Daniel was always reachable by phone, text messages or phone and he always was able to provide us with clear answers, solutions or even improvements to some of our items or colors for the paint. Daniel was very skilled and extremely creative in resolving problems that came up during the actual work and that we didnt expected them. For example we always wanted to improve our design and Daniel was able to make it even better by providing better ideas to what we wanted. Many of his ideas, for sure saved us some good amount of money and we are very thankful to him. His crew were very skilled, knowledgeable and experienced people who have been with Daniel for a very long time. Overall we give all the people that were involved at our house a huge A++ for getting us thru one big remodeling project with lots of good humor and professionalism. We truly love and in love with our new house.

    General Custom Woodworking
Albertand his team were pleasant, neat, extremely nice and very knowledgeable in their craft. The work they did was fantastic and they worked quickly. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again for any other woodwork I need refinished and/or repaired. The cost of the job was a bit high, but the work was excellent!

    GoodFellas Construction
This is the biggest project my husband and I have ever done on our home since we moved in together, so we spent a considerable amount of time searching through websites and reviews on Angie?s List. GoodFellas construction stood out to us for a number of reasons. First of course was the name of the company, mainly for my husband since his favorite movie actually is Goodfellas. Second was the amount of useful information we were able to get from the website and the wonderful work examples they had posted in their testimonials and their reviews they had on their social media accounts especially on Yelp. Third, and probably my favorite was free online estimates; we were able to begin drawing up a budget before formally making any decisions, which was great, especially since we are already dealing with a newborn coming our way.
When it came to designing the nursery my husband had it the worst we had to give up his so called ?Man Cave?. Which was a complete disaster, my husband had damaged the flooring and walls in the room. As for the bathroom it wasnt safe for our future newborn to use any time soon. When it came to designing the bathroom it went into so much thought honestly it was more stressful than the nursery. The bathroom was completely falling apart the shower was leaking water through the glass doors, we took that down and inserted a new bathtub for the newborn. We wanted to go take an old school approach in the restroom so after we implemented the bathtub we changed the sink to a mahogany wood with a very luxurious granite top to give it some sort of a elegant old school style finish. As well we painted the walls with a light burgundy to stick to the style that we wanted. As well in the restroom we changed the lighting from just being two bulbs in the restroom which made it very dark and nobody really used that restroom for that reason. We ended up using a in-ceiling lighting with dimmer, this gave the restroom the most spectacular look for the restroom. It was a jaw dropping experience when it came to the finished product of the restroom.
In regards to the nursery we included some aluminum shutters, base boards and carpret which allowed us to take the design onto another level as well provide more of a security for young one. We told Joe we wanted a neutral room for a nursery because I didn't want to spoil the surprise to my husband about what gender we were having.
The team and Joe was amazing help throughout the process such as when it came to keeping me up to date to latest changes or improvements on the house. Joe made sure everything was taken care of all the time even when it came to a small issue like the trash they left a huge mess after one day, my husband came home and was astonished of the mess in front of the house but the moment we picked up the phone and called there customer service which was overall A+, they came the same day and cleaned up everything and made sure they never left a mess again after that incident. When it came to providing ideas for our future nursery, I swear these project managers really have a view of what the customer wants. I was never disappointed with them and their work effort, they really astonished me I was so picky on every little detail and Joe the Project Manager really had to put up with it and that he did, very patient person and honestly the best Project Manager. Highly recommended from my husband and me, Thank you so much Goodfellas Construction definetly will be calling you back for any future home remodeling plans.

    Nexxus Remodeling Inc
After calling 4-5 contractors from Angie's list, it was still very hard to decide which one was the right one. I had read Nexxus' descriptions and I decided to give him a call. He came to my home and gave me an estimate. I was actually deciding between Nexxus and another contractor. The other contractor made me feel very comfortable and I did sign with that contractor. After that contractor decided to change the quality of the windows and doors, I realized that was not the right way to do the business and I decided to cancel that contract. Tony (Nexxus) called me soon after and I still felt skeptical. I asked many questions and I eventually made the decision to hire him primarily because he is #1 on Angie's List. In the beginning, I only wanted to remodel 2 bathrooms, stucco, new construction windows and doors, interior and exterior paint done. But in the end, I saw the way his company worked and decided to have him add new bathroom vanities, new gutters, new driveway and upgrade the electrical from 100 amp to 200 amp. He took us shopping to the tile store and Snider Diamond for 5 hours straight. He had happy face the entire time and did not rush or complain at all. He told me not to buy anything without letting him know. I didn't follow this advice and went to Snider Diamond myself to add a handheld shower to the bathtub. He quickly went over to the store and stopped me. I was about to purchase the wrong item but he went out of his way to drive to the store and stop me in person. Ultimately, I learned many things from this experience. The crew can be good, but the contractor is the most important because when the job is done, a good contractor will take care of you. A bad one will leave you hanging dry. Overall, Tony has a good design sense, he can see the finished product very clearly, the crew is very professional, and the team made sure small details such as outlining what items in the electric panel were for what area of the house were included. The bathrooms, driveway, windows, doors, etc are all awesome and we are happy with the quality and work done. No job is going to be 100% perfect, but if you have the right contractor (Tony), they will make you as happy as can be. Tony is a very responsible person and will get the job done right the first time. If you think hiring a professional such as Tony is expensive, just wait until you hire an amateur and get something you aren't pleased with. This was a long journey that was filled with ups and downs but we are ultimately pleased. Thank you Tony!

    IND Construction Inc
The contractor David Ifegan, was very professional and made it very straight forward.  It was a turn key project which included The design, blueprints and all the details. The work was completed in a timely manner.  All of our family including ourselves are very happy with the end results.

They said there were 3 projects and there were several parts to each project. Ultimately the quotes came in at $3000, $1500 and $2000 for various kinds of work. They didn't do a formal workup, but those were estimates. They were responsive and professional. They were more like a builder versus a handyman out there. They were willing to do smaller jobs, but they will probably be folded into a bigger job. They were kind of striving on bigger jobs. Case Handyman service is a great name to bring clients in, but they are ultimately going to try to get a bigger pay check out of the situation. They tried to up-sell me to a bigger remodel. They are in the business of making money and I think they are probably good at what they do, but it wasn't the right fit for us.
