    Trinity Rain Gutters
Arrived on time. Cleaned and re-hung loose gutters. Company did not want to install the gutters that I wanted for the garage because the job was too small. Good crew, and they seem well-organized. Work was done quickly and efficiently.

    George Parks Roofing & Painting

Chris Parks came out to give me an estimate to the exterior of the house.  I was not home at that time.  The estimate came back reasonable.  After comparing with the estimate from the painter we had used previously and reading very good reviews they received from their customers on Angie's list, we decided to go with them.  Chris came out on 10/6/15 to meet with us to confirm the price and the work.  He explained everything in detail (wash, patch, sand, primer, 2 coats of paints).  He e-mail me the proposal.  I signed it and e-mail him back.  The crew started the work on 10/7/15 (Wed).  They arrived a little late and started all the prep work.  Chris came to make sure the crew (maybe 4 people) understood what needed to be done and collected 50% payment upfront.  He introduced me to Jonathan, the foreman for the job.  He was also very courteous whenever I had a question about something.  Unfortunately they had to leave a little early the first day at the job due to some emergency.  I wished they would communicate that with me.  However, everything seemed to have washed and windows and doors were taped up nicely, and I saw some patch work done.   For the next few days, the guys came early and worked very hard.  They picked up totally 4 sample paints and we finally decided on the colors for my doors and shutters on Friday morning.  They brought in one more worker on Saturday trying to finish the job.  It was very hot close to 100 the few days they were at their job.  I got them lunches and water and they were appreciative.  No surprises and we are very satisfy with their work and our experience with the company especially Chris.  Thanks.

    Edgewater Rain Gutter Co
We have gone a long period of time without rain, however when it finally did rain, the gutters did not perform well. Unfortunately, the rain is collecting in a specific area, potentially causing damage. When we called to ask for a repair, we were told that they were too busy to fix this issue, and could come out in 2-3 months.

    Nexxus Remodeling Inc
I contacted Tony @ Nexxus Remodeling due to his many reviews here on Angie's I've actually been eyeballing his business for many years for other projects, and after taking on bids from 3 different contractors, I chose to go with Nexxus Remodeling. I'm one who likes to know every detail that goes into the process of the project and be explained to by the owner the steps or process on how the project will be completed from start to finish. It's also an opportunity for me to learn.

Tony isn't the cheapest of the bunch, but I didn't get a sense of complete security with the other 2 contractors (they were about the same pricing). I noticed that Tony's got some bad reviews from other members who didn't like how he interacts, so you should know that with Tony Panterra, the first time you speak with him or meet with him, you would either love him or hate him. He is very blunt, and can be misconstrued as being overly arrogant, but he will tell how the project will go through his experience on his many projects and if there's a part of the job that he doesn't do, he's forward enough to let you know ahead of time as well.

Tony will let you know the maximum amount (or sum of) how much the project would cost and also let you know what to expect, so you won't be hit with hidden fees in the middle of the project. My balcony had a leak and due to the recent rain, water droplets was dripping down from the old cracked tiles on my 2nd floor balcony to the 1st floor patio ceiling (through the stucco), The damage didn't seem that great, but after Tony came by, he explained to me that in the best scenario, the repair would be minimal if the wood under the tiles aren't rotted out and the total cost of the project would be the initial estimate he gave me. Tony also warned me ahead of time that until we proceeded with demoing the balcony floor first, we will not know exactly how much damage really exists underneath the tiles.

\He continues, if to what he was thinking and the wood underneath is rotted out, then new wood would be required to be added to give support to the balcony (which will incur a change order with additional costs). Upon demolition, he showed and I saw that indeed the wood underneath was rotted and new wooden supports needed to be attached to beneath the balcony, the change order was made and the additional costs which Tony had informed me prior to demoing were added. Tony's crew came out every weekday and showed up on time in the morning and worked till about 3-4pm and always cleaned up the area above and below my balcony. Tony had the crew piled up their tools and materials off the grass like I asked them to and were able to get the entire project completed without having to go through my home which was great for me and my family, so that we would not be disturbed throughout the day while the Nexxus crew worked.

Tony estimated that the entire project from start to finish would take a month to complete and so it did. Both my family and I were very happy with the result and completion of the work that Nexxus Remodeling has put into our renewed balcony and it looks fabulous. Now we are able to actually put our balcony to some good use during this summer, especially with the newly added patio cover that is providing complete shade over our balcony. I would definitely hire Tony and his crew again for future projects.

    Modern Roofing Inc
I spent $1800 on that work. The work went very well. They were here on time and did what they said they were going to do. They were very honest and upfront. They showed us the proof of insurance which a lot of contractors won?t do.

    J R Rain Gutters
Jose came to our home almost immediately to provide an estimate. He completed the job the next day. He was friendly and quick and appeared to have a lot of experience with gutters. The gutter he replaced looks sturdy and professional, we are very happy.

    Rancho Rain Gutters
Ron arrived on time to bid the small job and he took plenty of time to explain his plan. Since I needed roof work, Ron suggested doing that first. Rancho Rain Gutters is associated with T&G Roofing. I hired T&G for the roof work and two Rancho employees came a week after the roof work was done. The new gutters look good.

    Gutter Depot
I called and set up the first appointment to get an estimate. The company called a day or so before the first appointment to cancel and ask for another date, which I gave them. Then, nobody came for the rescheduled appointment and nobody called to explain.

    J R Rain Gutters
Mr. Ramirez accommodated my work schedule and came on a Saturday morning to install the gutters. He worked professionally and fast, finishing the installation in half a day. I periodically inspected his work and noted how methodical he was. At the end of the installation, he cleaned up the debris.

    Quality Home Exteriors Inc
Overall, the plaster and sandblasting subcontractors were good. They arrived on time and performed their jobs well. However, there was a communication problem with the sandblasting crew, who sandblasted the garage when it was explicitly excluded in the contract. The paint crew was very professional but not managed by an onsite supervisor. Because this project was more complex than a straightforward paint job, I had to call the owner periodically to get information about what needed to be done. Eventually, he assigned a supervisor to my project. At the conclusion of the project, the work performed by the company was excellent. The house, which had been neglected by previous owners and not painted for over 20 years, looked new.
