ASOD Home GroupWe highly recommend SOD Home Group for any large construction project. After finishing my excellent research about them, we hired them to make some significantly large repairs to our home. Oren was very up front about what needed to be done, and he listened to our concerns and ideas of what we need and want and then came up with a super detailed plan of what needed to be done. We found Oren as a very honest, professional, easy to work with person, competent, and extremely knowledgeable about his trades. Oren was present and working with his teams almost all the time they were present. Oren always answered his phone right away whenever we had questions (and believe us we had so many questions and comments). Our repairs and construction job required expertise in many aspects of construction at our home. From framing, waterproofing, stucco, structural repairs, tile work, drywall painting etc. all of which got done in a great and timely manner. We do a lot of our own repairs , and have had many contractors doing projects too, but we found SOD Home Group to be by far the best construction company we have ever seen or worked with. Their prices are fair, their work is excellent, on time, clean and the quality is fantastic. Oren is knowledgeable about whatever he is working on and always kept me updated on whatever aspect of the job he was working on. A wonderful person to work with. If you want a job completed with no stress and the assurance you are getting it done right, then we feel strongly that SOD Home Group is the one to call.- Pavan K.

AEverlast ConstructionAriel has been a dream to work with. We had to fire our last contractor as he was just too slow! Ariel came in and did a HUGE remodel in three months. This included: bathrooms, painting interior exterior, foundation work around the entire house, pavers, pool, outdoor kitchen, flooring, etc After feeling like we had the right team on our hands, we hired them again for a kitchen remodel! The kitchen included demoing of a wall, moving the sink from the wall to the island, whole new design! a ton of electrical and plumbing work,countertop, backsplash, etc. The beauty about Ariel is that not only does he do quality work, you can actually get a hold of him- and within hours! If you've ever or never done a construction job on your home, communication is one of the biggest areas that people complain the most about. Ariel is upfront, responsive, and dependable- and very reasonable financially. He's also pretty creative and solution oriented. We had a Ariel made me feel valued as a customer as well, which, you just don't really get in this industry. It's a relief to finally treat someone with kindness and get it in return! All in all, we wouldn't think twice about going with another contractor for our home remodeling needs. ASOD Home GroupWe were so fortunate to find SOD home group to redesign our house. It has been a while since we did any remodeling or updates. Oren was attentive to each and every detail during the work. The type of materials, the paint of the walls, the combination of the cabinets and more and more… were picked up one by one to deliver us a ‘look like new‘ home. The whole coordination of who will work and when, what will they do daily, weekly and monthly – was managed by Oren. The office staff always made sure that the schedule and perfection are the top priority and they kept informing us regarding each and every step of the work. We cannot thank all the people who did the work and manage to complete it on time even though we are in a middle of a pandemic. He stayed in touch with us throughout the project to keep us updated on next steps. The crews were polite and arrived on time. Work was finished relatively quickly - we did have a few delays due to a minor misunderstanding. However, Paul, the owner, did a great job keeping us updated on the delay and communicating next steps. Our needs and concerns were heard, taken seriously, and responded to quickly. Ultimately, although the job took a little longer than expected, I am very pleased with the work done by Westshore and their dedication to communication and customer satisfaction.- Eric T.

ASOD Home GroupWe interviewed many companies for our entire home remodeling before going with SOD Home Group but once meeting with Oren, we knew that we will hire him and his people for our remodeling. Their overall price was very competitive and we could tell that he wanted to do a remarkable work for us. As with any home improvement project, we had some issues are expected but we were shocked at how smoothly everything went. We had a big job including knocking down a load bearing wall and putting up a beam. Our kitchen was very old and outdated so we had lots for the crew to get done. We also heard many horror stories of remodeling projects when the contractors disappear. We had workers here every single day getting our kitchen accomplished. And the biggest shocker of all: they completed the kitchen on time! Yep, I said it. On time. We absolutely love our new kitchen and would highly recommend SOD Home Group.- Paulette D.

AI would give 6 stars if the option was available. It was the easiest decision I've made, and I am so happy with my bathroom renovation. This project consisted of demolition, rebuilding, new sink, and a new bathtub.. basically a new everything. Nick from Everlast Construction was great to work with. He provided options, understood what we wanted from the start and did little extras that many others would overlook. The details inside the bathroom are now complimented by everyone who walks in there! They create beautiful, stunning work.

BAlthough the roof appeared to be in good condition, I decided to have it replaced as it was over 30 years old. In late September of 2018, I met with Shadowfax roofing estimator John. John was very knowledgeable and understood the issues with the high pitch of the roof. He provided two quotes. The first quote was for the basic Owens Corning Tru Definition shingles ($9,980) and the second was for Duration Premium shingles ($10,580). I opted for the higher quality shingles. Since the gutters were going to be replaced, I requested the wood that extended beyond the roofline be cut in order for the gutters to extend to the end. John explained it would not be a problem, however, any dry rot would need to be removed and replaced with new wood. Additionally, I had requested a vent be added for the bathroom as it was venting into attic instead of through the roof. John also indicated everything could be completed in about 3-4 days. However, it would be about three months before the job wold get done. Since there was no hurry, I agreed. In early November, I received a call from their scheduler, Pam stating the job would start on November 13th. I explained I would be leaving town on November 16th. She stated the job would be pretty much finished by then. Unfortunately, there were some delays. On the first day, the workers did not show up until late in the afternoon to remove the roof. On the second day, work stopped to due to the dry rot issue. Although, I had explained to the foreman on the first day of what I had wanted done specifically, replace any rot and cut all the overhangs, work stopped until I gave the okay to do the repairs. Fortunately, the dry rot was minimal, however, it caused a delay as there was only one person doing the job and he had left for the day. The foreman explained the previous job had some issues, which required their attention. On Friday, the crew for the gutters arrived early in the morning, however, they couldn't do the gutters as the overhangs still needed to be cut. So, crew returned later in the afternoon. Since I was unable to be present when the job was completed, my family supervised. I was informed the work was not completed until Sunday. When I returned home, I noticed the vent I had requested be added was not done. I contacted Pam and she stated it would get done. A few days later it rained. I have had no problems with the roof. Although there was a lack of communication in the beginning and delays, the job was done well. I would hire them again. However, I have learned my lesson that roof replacements should be done in spring or summer.

AThe project went even better than I thought it would. We had a hard time finding someone who would work on fixes to existing roof. Most wanted to do full replace. Northern California roofing came very quickly to do estimate and was able to start work on roof within a week. Great turn around. AIf only all contract work could be so smooth and easy. When I contacted Pete in November, he was already scheduled through February...but he said he thought he had some crew members who wanted to work through Christmas break. He squeezed me in and by the new year, all the work had been done. Unfortunately, this roof will outlast me, so I don't think I'll be doing business with Positive again... but you should.
