  • Sometimes I get a call that my prescription is in so I go over there. I have 2 prescriptions and I thought both of them are in but only one was in or if there was one, that wasn't it so there's a discrepancy between what the machine says is done and what is actually done by the people there. That's weird. It used to be that you only dealt with the pharmacy when you get the call from the pharmacy that your prescription is in but now they have that calling thing and it's not reliable. A lot of people say the same thing. They expect that they get their prescription but it's not ready. They attend to it right away because you got the call so they try to do it as fast as they can. Usually people go there but it's not ready.

  • My experience with them covered the range. It was a several month ordeal to get my preventative colonoscopy at age 50 paid 100%. As a last resort, I finally appealed the claim and they finally paid it all. About a year later, I was diagnosed with a very serious medical condition. I must say Blue Shield processed claims quite quickly. They even called once to ask how I was doing. When my company switched to another health insurance carrier, I sent an e-mail request to get documentation of the co-insurance and deductible that I'd already paid for the calendar year. They responded to my query within one business day.

  • My husband goes there regularly and so does my eldest child. They are great and very efficient. One of the doctor's there Dr. Abrams is amazing. She calls us at home to check if we are doing all right after her treatment. The only problem is they give super bills as they don't work directly with insurance.
