    This was my first time moving cross country from CA to FL and one of my main concerns was how to get my car to my final destination. Should I make the drive or ship? Luckily I opted to enjoy a few more days back home so I decided to ship my car. After getting multiple quotes, I decided on Midsommar because of their quick response time and their 15% military discount. The the communication between the contractor they used, Richer Trucking, was as seamless as it gets. We scheduled pick up, he told me when he'll be able to deliver at my destination. John kept me in the loop the entire process. He texted me the day before to give me a timeframe. We met at the final destination, got my car, gave him the cashier's check. Done. Easy Day. Overall, it took about a week's time to get my car cross country. Thank you so much to Tamar and Nofar for answering all my questions with this cross country first timer. You saved me a lot of stress on me and my car from driving cross country. I will definitely be looking to utilize your services again when I move back!

    I took my 2010 Dodge Ram needed some brakes and oil change to Van's who has been doing work for my other cars for the past few years. Van more that halved the cost of what they charge and did it quickly. Van is personal, friendly and trustworthy. Highly recommend Van for any Auto work.

    Very consciousnesses in their work, they explained what they are going to do and how long it would take. They have a friendly attitude and its a very comfortable place. If you're looking to have decals put on your car or your cars windows tinted this is a great place to go, they do great work and I would highly recommend them. New car dealerships use these guys too.

    Dave was very professional, contacted me to let me know exactly when he and one other fellow were due to arrive, which I appreciated.  I have solar screens which fit over each window, this meant they had to unfasten each screen to remove them to wash
    the outside of the windows, then they had to carefully refasten each screen to make sure they were securely replaced which added time to the process.  Regardless, I was impressed that they completed my entire two story house within a couple of hours. 
    I signed up for the Angie's List Deal for $149.00 which covered 20 windows.  I have California style sliding windows so the
    left and right side of each window counts as two windows, plus I have a small window that runs the width of the larger lower window,
    this was counted as one window.  Dave worked with me on the price of the additional windows in my house the total of which well exceeded the 20 windows allowed in the deal.  His willingness to work with me (since this was my first time using their service) and the great job they did will definitely earn them my repeat business.

    EAST BAY BMW
    My boy's 2000 BMW blew the radiator expansion tank in Livermore and was stuck. I found several online and on ebay from $19-$50,  but they would take at least two days and he was in the KFC parking lot. So I drove him the eight miles or so to East Bay BMW and waited behind some kid with a credit card ordering all sorts of stuff. Finally after 20 minutes, they opened another window and had the part on the table 10 minutes later. I told my boy "watch. the dealership will want at least $75 for this part." Wrong. $190 with tax. I told them that they have to be kidding! That is no way to treat some one broken down. 
    Order online for parts if you know what you are doing. It is just wrong for a dealership to take that sort of markup. Even $100 I could let go, but I could not let this disrespect pass. I can only imagine what they charge for service.
    Even Bavarian Auto Sport has the Behr part for $51.95 and they are not the cheapest.

    The seats have rinkles in the upholstery and julio the owner is telling me that as the sun warms them up they will come out,I just saw a custom car that they did a year ago and it looks worse than mine.Bottum line is these guys are hacks if your not picky about your upholstery you would be money ahead to just buy a quality set of seat covers.There is a reason why this guy is so cheap and it shows in his work.

    I had my 1999 Saturn towed in with instructions that I wanted to see if it was feasible to pay for repairs, or if I should just scrap it (the car had been sitting idle for over a year and had expired tags). I mentioned that the last mechanic indicated I needed a catalytic converter and that the air conditioner didn't blow cold air.
    When Sal contacted me to talk about the car, I also told him I needed a smog. Once again I reiterated that I wanted to keep an eye on my costs. He called me back to tell me that due to the converter issues, my car would not pass. He also told me that I might need a new muffler. By the time they got through with the battery, diagnostic tests, parts and labor I was at $1000. More than I wanted to pay, but at that point I was past the point of hearing how it wasn't the labor costs that were driving up the amount, it was the parts. Imagine my surprise when I received another call asking if I wanted to spend and quot;a little more money on my carand quot;. That and quot;little amountand quot; was $800 and it was to repair my rack and pinion. When I asked why it took so long to discover this issue, Sal told me that because my car wasn't currently registered.......they couldn't drive it to determine the issue. If they couldn't drive it, then how did he discover the problem? I told him I wasn't going to spend any additional money. It was at that point that he told me he didn't repair my previously discussed air conditioner. To do so would cost another $200. I explained that because I live in Antioch and drive 90 miles each day, I need my air fixed. He told me that he could add freon and we could see how long that would last.
    When I went to pick up my car, Sal acknowledged that I wasn't happy and offered to see if he could work a deal to fix my steering issue down the road. (The probability of me going to school to learn to work on my car and do my own repairs is higher than me ever returning to this business.) He then told me that they didn't charge any labor to add freon to my system (I balked at replacing the hose). The woman who was running around the lot gave me a copy of my smog paperwork and told me and quot;We were really generous to you. We didn't charge you for the A/C workand quot;. That is true....it is also true that they did charge me for the freon and that the air still blows out warm.
    In conclusion, I feel that this business needs to be aware of a few things: 1) Some of your customers come from the automotive industry. As a matter of fact, some of them, like me, actually ran the business office of busy franchise. 2) Keeping #1 in mind, constantly stating how low the labor cost is doesn't mean you did me any favors. It means you either have a low shop rate, or the job didn't take very long. 3) Parts mark-up is the gravy of a shop. I mean come on.....$175 for a battery? 4) When a customer claims they are trying to control costs, don't repeatedly call and try to get more money after you have already created a bill that exceeds what they wanted to pay. 5) If you won't drive a car with expired tags to find out what is wrong with it, state as much when the car is dropped off and refuse to start any work until a current sticker is supplied. 6) Don't tell an obviously upset customer that you have done them a favor when they are obviously irritated and all you have really done is charged them for something that didn't address their issue.
    This place had glowing reviews. Obviously something went horribly wrong in my communication with this business, although I pride myself on being pretty clear and concise. I left a voicemail to ask about my air running warm and haven't received a return call. Guess I will write that money off. I am also not going to state that they are responsible for the damage around my gas tank because I had the vehicle towed in and can't confirm when/how it happened.
    In conclusion, I am driving my Saturn, sweating in the 90+ degree heat, saving my money and trying to find a reputable (?) shop to address my outstanding issues with the car.

    Once the part came into the service center, they called more than once to make sure and get this scheduled. I appreciated the follow up. My truck also needed a 30k checkup that was priced at $300, the manager found a coupon for me that reduced the cost significantly. I really appreciated the customer service

    I liked them. They may or may not be higher priced than some of the other auto shops in the area but I had always good luck with them. I trust them to do what they say they're going to do. If it would cost a little bit more, I don't go someplace else. I felt comfortable doing that because they're not ripping me off. I've been doing business with them for many years and I would trust them to do repairs on my car. I wouldn't hesitate to take my car in. They're always very professional. The mechanics are very well-trained. They know what they're doing. I trust them to work on my car. I have a positive experience with them everytime I go in.

    Very professional, kept us well informed of what to expect, provided us with the result of the damage estimate and worked directly with our insurance company. They arranged for the tow to their shop. They did an excellent job of repairing the damage in a relatively short period of time. We have a Volvo XC90 and it looks just like new...would never know anything had happened to it. Very satisfied with the result. Very friendly and easy to work with.
