  • As usual, the appointment went fine. I hate having my eyes dilated because it takes hours to be able to read again, but it's important to have dilated exams to ensure that any changes in my retina and optic nerve are assessed. Dr. Marshburn is always pleasant, explains everything that he is doing, and also reviews the results of any special tests / exams that were conducted at that visit. I'm generally one of the youngest people in the office when I go, but never feel like I'm 'special' in a bad way.

  • We had three appointments. I made sure we were for the first appointments. We we in and out very quickly. The doctor was nice and professional. The doctor identified an issue have in my left eye that have been monitoring very quickly. The issue doesn't get pickup by every doctor I see in the past. So good job.

  • Overall experience was good. Seemed to be a fairly busy office.
    Waited a little longer than I preferred to see the Dr. but for the first time not a deal breaker.
    Exam was handled professionally and seemed complete.
    Choosing and fitting of frames and lenses was efficient. They were several hundred dollars less expensive than my prior frames and lenses from another Dr. and office yet are of equal quality.

  • She is a really good optometrist. She speaks fluent English with no accent. She is top notch and she makes me feel like I'm the only client she has. She is very knowledgeable and extremely competent. She doesn't rush through her exams and I don't feel like a number or that I'm being herded through. She is very fast, friendly, and accommodating. She treats everyone nicely and everyone seems to enjoy being there. It's a very relaxing atmosphere and it is an overall good experience. I really appreciate her. When I first went to her I told my wife, and ldquo;I just found our new optometrist. This doctor is great, all the way down the row.and rdquo;

  • I got a hold of Dr. Neal who is a cornea specialist through one of the doctors on Angie's List because I needed a specialist in my local area. It's just because of my age that these things are coming on me. This doctor is really good and I really like him. The most important thing is that he will sit down and talk to you at a level where you would understand it. A lot of doctors use all this terminology and your mind goes up in the air and you don't understand what the heck they're talking about. He will explain things like Mickey Mouse talk for someone that is a layman that does not understand medical terms. He explained it to me like I was a child basically is what most people would like to hear because you'll have a better understanding of what's going on with your eye problems. My other doctors would not do that, but he was very polite and kind. He went through more testing that I have ever gone through for an eye doctor. He is extremely thorough and I didn't have to wait long in the office. I got there on my appointment time and I was called in within less than five minutes. I did stay there a long time because it was my initial first visit which was great because he went through every detail of my eye problem and that's why I'm changing from another doctor that I had for 8 years to this new doctor and he's only a total of two miles from where I live.

  • Dr. Nguyen is an excellent compassionate doctor with a great bedside manner. She is very easy to talk talk, and thoroughly explains all of the details of the exam. Her assistant and the front desk are also very easy to work with. billing is problem free and is handled very efficiently.

  • I arrived at my appointment time which was the first appointment after their lunch break.  I was shown into the examining room within two minutes.  Dr. Berry came in and we chatted as he examined my eyes.  I have been going to Dr. Berry for forty some years.  He performed the usual exam for any vision change, cataracts and gloucoma.  He informed me that my vision had changed in the one eye and he was changing my contact perscription in that eye.  He told me that the cataract in my right eye was growing but still not large enough to need surgery and that there was a dot in the left eye which incicated a cataract was just beginning in that eye.

    As a retiree I no longer have vision coverage but since I am a member of the NEA/CTA Retired Organization I get 20% off through VSP and when I reminded him of that he adjusted the bill accordingly without hesitation.

    I requested my new contacts be mailed to my home.

    My new contacts arrived within a week.

    IUnless I have a problem with my eyes, which rarely has happened, I will see Dr. Berry next year.

  • I have been going to him for about 30 years, so I like him. I know him very well, although I only see him once a year. He has always been very thorough. I don't feel rushed when I go in there. On very rare occasion, I've had to wait a couple of minutes for my appointment. Once I get in there, he gives me things to try. He is about my age, so he understands the problems of getting older. He is very friendly and open.

  • He is awesome. He is very thorough. He is a great listener. He really cares for his patients and he is always there for his patients. Once, my ex-husband had a piece of metal in his eye. He did not know that but it was very uncomfortable. He called Dr Charm in the middle of the night. He drove over to his office, which is an hour’s drive, and removed the metal piece from my husband’s eye. He did not charge us for the service. We had a business in the same center and he did not ask us for anything. On another occasion, I was practicing putting permanent make up on a girl I worked with. I pushed a solution in her eyes which should not be put in the eyes. It burnt her cornea. We rushed her to the emergency but they did nothing. Then I called Dr.Charm. We met in his office. It was 10 o’clock in the night but he came immediately. He checked her eyes, reassured us that it was fine, put some medication in her eye, patched it up, ran some tests and gave a prescription. He was wonderful. He was all dressed as if he was going to work. When I asked him what he was doing all dressed at that time of the night, he said that it was his job and he had to be professional.
