The actual work that was done was very good. There were a couple of little things I questioned on. Communication between me and the contractor were not perfect. I had to pay additional time. They were great in cleaning up, and my wall look a better than before. If I could have a list of what they could do in the 4 hours, I would be more satisfied.

Eddie was on time and his crew was very professional. Job was scheduled to be one day, but the crew wanted to do a good job regrading so after 1/2 day requested a second day to complete the project well. There were 5 people on the crew including 2 foremen. They took great care on the details and created a nice curve transition for the tree and the new turn around pad. There was a good communication as they called me to make sure I liked what was happening during the project. After all was done one of the foremen walked me through and made sure I was happy before they all left. And when they did leave they left our yard so clean you would not have even known that they had been there. The neighbors all slowed down to compliment us on our new driveway for two weeks after it was done. We are very happy with the results and would recommend RAM Paving to anyone who wants a job done well at a very competitive price.

It's a very big driveway. We had other estimates and he was really reasonable. He said he was from Angie's List so we trusted him. It's all by one man. He's in charge. They were very efficient, very friendly and very easy to work with.

Jerry Phillipps is honest, sincere and the kind of person we all want to deal with. Jerry worked hard to give me a fair estimate of the costs of the job. And, maybe most importantly, Jerry told me that part of the job was probably not worth the cost.
The crew did a masterful job at demo and installing the pavers.
    I highly recommend these guys.
    Honesty. Hard to find.

I had a design in mind for a new patio. I gave the drawing to the salesperson who came to do the estimate, and they did exactly what I wanted, with some professional suggestions. The crew showed up on time, at 8 A.M. There were three guys there the first day, they ripped out all the ugly concrete, trees, old tree stump and a three feet tall broken down brick planter in no time flat. I had to go to work, so I left them unsupervised. By the time I got home, they had cleaned out and graded the whole area and there was a pallet of pavers on my driveway, ready to go. The next day, there were seven guys there, they laid out all the pavers, did a beautiful job, created areas where I wanted to leave open for planting. They even added PVC pipes in case I want to add sprinklers later. They also put in the two planting boxes I provided for a vegetable garden. They cut the pavers around the plumbing and electrical areas as well as the two planting boxes which had decorative corners. The cuts were clean and precise. The supervisor showed up in the afternoon to check on the job. They also put pavers over the steps that leads to the back door. I was super happy with their work. The guys were very professional and the work they did was transformational. Now, two years later, I continue to be extremely happy with the job they did. Initially, I really wasn't all that excited about spending that kind of money on a 170 sq. ft of space, but now I see it as money well spent. They took what was an eyesore and made it into a wonderful place where my friends and family can gather. I know mine was a small job for them, but they treat it with the same professionalism as their big jobs. I have seen some of the other work that they have done, and it is just beautiful. I will use them again for any upcoming hardscape projects.

When I called the company, I made it clear that the driveway that was to be resurfaced was on a flag lot and 4 homeowners would be
involved, but that I was the only one who would be meeting with the representative.  Roy was late, seemed not to be interested in doing the job, and was, I felt disrespectful: when I said that I'd already had 2 estimates and wanted a 3rd to give to the other homeowners, he said, " Why not 5?". He indicated that he would prefer to meet with all the homeowners, which I had made clear was not possible. He paced off - did not measure - the area, gave no details of what the work would entail, as had the previous contractors (all from Angie's list) and his price was more than twice the other 2 estimates. AND THEN he gave me the "song and dance" that his workers would be in the area n 2 weeks, and if we could coordinate with that, he would reduce the price. This is not the way a legitimate contractor works, as far as I'm concerned.

Both Mr. Phillips and their crew were professional and set about doing the work which took only 1 day. Amazing! The rating for a "B" on price is only that because I don't have much to compare it to, except concrete, and that is way more expensive. They gave me yellow tape to surround the area with so that passing cars would not drive on it. It looks just great. The reason that I had this done is so that a new garage door could be installed and be straight and flush at the bottom. It works!

We've needed our 50-year-old asphalt driveway replaced for at least a decade - it was cracked and broken, with tree roots popping through in several spots. We considered replacing it with more asphalt, poured concrete or paving stones and opted for the latter after getting quotes from several vendors. Pacific Pavingstone was professional all the way - they arrived on time, performed the work exactly as quoted, and we never once felt like we had made the wrong choice. Every member of the construction team was organized, tidy and totally professional. The finished product is truly great, and I would definitely use them again. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
