  • Mr. Nelson Blen arrived on time, and quietly investigated the problem. It turned out that there were several clogs, which he cleared. He then demonstrated to me how to look for the areas that can clog again (the air lock, the filter on the bottom of the dishwasher) so I could save money in the future and do it myself! He was friendly and kind. I really appreciated his professionalism. btw I had a plumber come out first, and he didn't even check the air lock, which I think he might have done. Nelson charged me a flat rate of $89 to inspect the dishwasher, and then applied the $89 to the amount of time he spent cleaning and fixing the problem. I would highly recommend Nelson!

  • Called Friday evening past 6 pm, spoke with Fred, he offered an appointment for the following morning on Saturday 9-11 am. Fred came just few minutes after 9 am, he identified the issue very quickly but did not have a replacement part with him. Instead of waiting until Monday, he found a part available at a different location, drove several miles to personally pick it, returned promptly, fixed the issue and my refrigerator is working again. Amazing service, on time and good price. I would use his service again and highly recommend Fred for any appliance repairs.

  • The repairperson announced when he arrived that there would be a minimum labor charge of $250. (Of course, this had not been disclosed to me when I made the appointment. The only mention of a minimum charge was $65 service call charge, which was fine. ) I could not tell if he meant that this charge would apply only if he used a part that I had preordered. I asked what he meant and he went around and around without a clear response. He lectured me on how labor charges work. He also seemed unclear about what work needed to be done. I finally asked him to leave. I called the office and the person who answered the phone (Max?) continued telling me about minimum charges. He finally agreed that it was not right to fail to disclose a minimum labor charge, which I do appreciate. I am still not sure what their policy is. I think they apply a minimum "labor charge" plus a minimum "service charge", but perhaps only when they are not able to mark up a part that they supply. In any case, this was too unclear for me to deal with as a customer and I don't like the lack of straightforward disclosure. If they cannot use a part that I have preordered, that is fine, but then just explain the fees clearly.

  • Very good. Good experience. I think they were recommended by the national number for Sharp for the appliance. They gave me their number as a local. They were responsive and showed up when they said they would. Came back when they said they would. They did a good job with it.

  • Prompt arrival, quick diagnosis of problem, repair made expertly. My veteran heavy duty dryer--better than most new ones-- is back in business. I previously called Fred for another appliance repair and he is honest, fair and totally knowledgeable. He is what you want in an independent repair person.

  • Technician (14+ years experience) arrived right on time, quickly checked entire range. He showed me the damaged parts, explained clearly what work was needed and why, and gave me a clear estimate for parts and labor. He had the required parts, and was able to complete the work in about an hour. A nice touch - he put on new protective booties each time he entered the house.

  • As usual, Larry was professional and efficient. He assessed the problem and located the part in his truck. Being an expert with antiques, this didn't surprise me -- but I know that with many repair services accustomed to working with new appliances, they would have required a return trip in order to secure the part. I'm thrilled that, thanks to Angie's List, I have found Larry again after not needing any appliance work for several years.

  • Needing washer and dryer repair and tried to phone calls to Paul's based on the fantastic ratings here on the List.  Two separate calls with details of the repair, suggested times for call back and repair and not one word.  Thankfully I got someone else to respond as I still haven't heard back.

  • I had purchased an Angie's List Deal for this company and although I did not mean to, I had waited until the deal had almost expired before calling for my appointment.  Not only over the phone was everyone so polite from this company but through the messages on Angie's list and then in person too.  They took the time to listen and then took the time to really discuss what solution would work best for our household and we are now back with a working oven.  They are super nice and super punctual and gave me a next day appointment when I called yesterday even though I am the one who waited so long to call to use my deal.  My Angie's Deal purchase was also credited towards the work that needed to be done which was extremely helpful as well.  I highly recommend for two reasons, they are fast and good at what they do but they also seem to enjoy what they do and are an absolute pleasure to work with.  Thank you so much again for fixing our oven today! It was great working with you guys!

    I thought I had posted this review last week but it does not seem to be showing so I'm posting it again as this company stood out to me because they made you feel like they were happy to have you as a customer. Almost like a nice small town feel in the big Los Angeles area and I love that!
