Stucco Repair reviews in Aliso Viejo

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • The remodel of the kitchen is incredible. We knocked down three walls, added an island with a hood, extended the house, moved doors...! What a scary thought it seemed. However, Treeium and especially our Project Manager Lior Lazaroch made the whole process simple. Even when our house tried to make things difficult... Lior and his team were quick with a remedy that kept the project on track. Now that the house is completed... I can’t believe it’s the same house. It looks completely different and my wife and I are having a huge Super Bowl party to celebrate (what seems like) our new house! Thank you again, Treeium and Lior Lazarovich our Project Manager!

  • We selected Rick Jamison Painting primarily based on the reviews already posted by other members, and as importantly, based on the interactions we had with them via email during the section process. We are glad we did. Rick provided very detailed estimate, priced all items separately and covered all steps - so we were clear what to expect and what the costs would be. They were on time, always prompt and responsive to any questions we had during the process. The office staff (Leonor, Elyse, George) were very helpful and very responsive all the time. We would like to thank Rick, his crew, and everyone in his office for quality job and very high customer service. We highly recommend them for any paint work.

  • Excellent! Day one a team of 7 men showed up at 7:30 and went to work like a precision team. By 3:30pm the repipe was completed and water was turned on. Day two Aliso Viejo city inspector came and inspected the job. All AOK. Day three the drywall patch team of six men came out at 7:30 and worked hard all day and completed the patch / texture by 7:00pm. This also included stucco patching and outside hose bib replacement. I am a furniture builder / artist and I know my trades. Even their tools were top notch. Sure feel good not worrying about potential leaks anymore.

  • This was our fourth time working with Robert Sappo. It was no mistake we went back to him for our kitchen. He had already remodeled our two bathrooms and installed a sliding door, a window and a ceiling fan, all of which were very successful projects. Robert is a perfectionist. He wants the job to be done to his exacting specifications. His standards are much higher than mine. He was here, on the job personally everyday. He was also totally available by text and phone. I would not describe him as a cheap or expensive. We always find his bids reasonable and feel that we get more than our money's worth. We also like the people he brings in to assist him. We like his assistant, Dickie, as well as the pros who he brings in to do sheet rock, paint, tile and stucco. He also helped us shop for appliances, fixtures, tile, counter tops and cabinets. What a guy! It went great! We would hire him again, happily. Like the bathrooms that preceded this project, Robert's kitchen turned out fantastic.

  • John performed the repairs with ease & efficiency. When he was finished it was hard to believe there was ever any damage to begin with! John's work was of the highest quality & his clean up was impeccable. Professional, knowledgeable & reasonable. I will not hesitate to use C & J Handyman & Remodeling in the future.

  • Ended with 3 slab leaks at one time and made decision to repipe house.  Got a referral off a local plumber and did research on Angie's list and contacted Repipe 1 through Angie's list.  The response was almost instant, got a phone call from Greg and set an appointment for the next day.  Greg arrived on time and gave a comprehensive explanation of the process and timeline to get the house repiped.  Both my wife & i felt very comfortable with Greg and his presentation and signed agreement.
Plan was for crew to arrive tuesday morning and complete repipe that day, next day would be dependent on inspector and then day after if we passed inspection would be drywall repair and texture.
Day one - Crew arrived about 15 minutes earlier and immediately got to work.  Both my wife & i were at work that day but I got a call around 4:30pm that they were done.  Arrived home & team was finishing up clean up.  Greg was right! about 55 holes throughout the house.  Clean up wasn't too bad. Office called later that evening to let me know that we would be inspected next day & they would call in morning with the window.
Day Two - Office called as promised with our inspection window.  Passed inspection and I called Greg to let him know so we could get on the drywall schedule for next day.  Got a call from office again later in afternoon to confirm that the drywall team would be at house next morning.
Day Three - Drywall team turned up on time at 8:00am and were confident of being finished that day around 4-4:30pm.  At 6:00pm they were still there working.  By the time I got home they had left but the house was still extremely dirty.  Dust everywhere, dirty footprints across floors and dusty hand prints across cabinets, front door and fridge.  Got a call from office that final inspection would be the next day.  I mentioned state of house, and customer service said that cleaning wasn't their responsibility.  Wasn't expecting no clean up but definitely not what was left behind.
Day Four - Inspector turned up 5 minutes before the office called to let me know our window! Unfortunately, we didn't pass inspection as the drywall team had missed several holes behind the fridge.  I called office and the crew came out a few hours later and fixed those holes.  Call office to let them know & we got on city's schedule for next day.
Day Five - City inspector came out and we passed final inspection.
The GOOD : Great communication from the office in regards to crews schedule and city inspections.  Two or three calls each day outlining next steps.  Repiping team did a great job and were clean and done in a day.  Price was very reasonable based on the work done.
The BAD : The state of the house at the end of the job.  As I said I wasn't expecting complete cleaning but if the areas had been properly taped off then the dust should not have migrated as much as it did.  The drywall team seemed to move way to fast.  There was texture on molding, picture frames, vase and inside cabinets on walls where there were no holes. It seemed as though they had to finish in one day and really rushed to get done. Outside they ended up going over some colored stucco that wasn't even close to the holes that needed to be patched & i don't have the paint to match.  Also found that my automatic sprinklers no longer worked in my back yard after they had left.  I sent Greg an email in regards to the sprinklers and mess that was left and got no direct response from him just a call from the office concerning the sprinklers. They sent out a supervisor who arrived more than 30 mins late (with no phone call) and he said there was pressure to the valves and he would fix it.  I had left for work and when I came home system still doesn't work and I have received no phone call or follow up. The great communication seemed to stop once the final payment was received.
Overall, a mixed experience.  I would recommend Repipe 1 but only with reservations to their follow up once the work is complete and the cleanliness the house is left in.

01/18/16:  I was contacted by one of the managers from Repipe shortly after the review was posted and he seem genuinely concerned in regards to the lack of follow up.  We agreed on a resolution that works for both us.  Really appreciated the service and follow up.

  • I got the bid one afternoon & they were able to schedule the next day. Crew arrived on time, worked steady & fast & skillfully. They also cleaned up when finished. The patching began the next day. Repipe One arranged the inspection and called me promptly in the AM with the window of time & my number on the list to be inspected. There was 1 area of dry wall patching that I wasn't happy with.  I called the office & they arranged for someone to redo the patch the next day. No hassle, no attitude , just great service. I was impressed. FYI, if the outside stucco is cut open, that will require 2 more visits from the building inspector, but all was handled by Repipe One, the next day. Also, 4 of my friends used this company & were very pleased with their service.

  • Robert is great to work with. Personally, he is a pleasure. Professionally, he is top notch.

Robert totally gutted our master bath, helped design the new bath and put it all back together again. He removed a wall, turned a closet into cabinets, added a skylight and installed all new plumbing, electrics and fixtures. Several times he took us shopping for tile, counter top, cabinets and fixtures. He had great ideas that added so much to our design. He suggested a skylight that opens. He designed a unique shampoo niche made of frosted glass, which lets natural light in during the day and is softly lit from outside at night (replacing the need for a nightlight). He also redesigned the ceiling for a clean, modern look.

Robert's work is the best. He is a perfectionist and refuses settle for less. He also can't help but add small extras as he works. For instance, while painting some outside stucco repair, he touched up other flaws in the paint that had nothing to do with the project (or his bill). He notices things that no one else would notice and insists on fixing what he considers less than excellent. Robert also wants his customers to be happy with the job. At no charge to us, he returned to adjust the bath fixtures to our liking. When given the choice between doing something quickly, or doing it right, he always opts for doing it right.

His estimate was dead on. In fact, he owed us three hundred dollars at the end. We feel his prices are reasonable (they do not include decorative fixtures). His subcontractors (tile, paint, sheet rock, skylight and shower glass) and assistant also maintained his standards for high quality. Everyone was on time. Everyone cleaned up after themselves every day. Everyone was pleasant to work with.

This is the third project that Robert has done at our house. The others include a remodel of the guest bath, adding a ceiling fan (20 foot ceiling), and adding a sliding door and new window. We have been very happy with all of his work. We wholeheartedly recommend Robert Sappo. We will use him for our next remodel.

  • I have never seen a group of more hard-working men. Apparently the fire pit was much deeper and stronger than they thought and it took great pains to remove. They never charged me extra. They worked very hard and were really good people.I wanted them to remove the stone from the front brick facade that had been cemented on 16 years ago and initially they agreed but once their specialist arrived he told me they didn't want to take any chances in removing the stone in case the brick was damaged - that was very disappointing but they suggested I patch the grout and reseal - it looks better but I still really want to have the original facade back......but not their fault....

  • Ben and his company painted the exterior of my house.  They painted the entire exterior including the garage, shutters, stucco, wood and siding.  They power washed, patched places where stucco needed to be patched, spot primed areas that needed to be primed and painted 2 coats.
Victor was in charge of the daily work crew and he was punctual and professional at all times.
Victor came in the morning at the time he said he would.  We went over what the day's activities were going to be, and when him and his crew would be finished.
They did exactly what they said they would do, arrived on time and left when they said they were going to leave.
There some minor touch-ups that had to be performed, but after letting Ben know about the touch-ups, Victor came out immediately the next morning and completed the areas that needed to be worked on.
Their price was competitive with other vendors that I talked to.
It was an overall great experience.
