  This review is long overdue. David was courteous and responsive in the beginning, however, after the job was awarded, he became surely and irritable. His crew was nice and professional. The yard looks nice and most people wouldn't notice the problems, yet, after living with it for a few months, we quickly became aware of the mistakes he'd made. The issues we have are: -Young plants were planted under mature trees on sprinklers vs drip - now I know that's bad as mature trees should be watered infrequently or can cause mold and young plants need frequent watering or can die. We've had both happen. -He planted too close together, so everything is crowded and grown into each other. I wanted some succulents - he planted those beside high water need plants. He also didn't advice on a plant that was 1.5 feet tall when put into the grown and now has grown to 15 feet - blocking our neighbors lemon tree, which we enjoyed looking at from our side. -There are a couple of dead zones in the lawn sprinklers. -I'm almost certain but can't verify that when he built our new cement steps they didn't secure them with rebar to the existing landing, which means that over time, the steps could separate from the house. -He threatened, after demoing our old steps, to not build the new ones because of a scheduling problem with HIS contractor. -He didn't locate our gas lines on the property. One of his crew broke one and the city had to be called out to repair it. Instead of owning it, he berated his crew member. Luckily, the city didn't fine us but they could have. We are dealing with all of these problems and will need to move plants and sprinklers to make it right. We had a layout design that he worked with, however someone with his experience level should have advised on how the different plants would grow together and with the existing landscape.

  Didn't give me a discount - he said and quot;only for senior citizensand quot;.
  I called and he showed up with his crew the next day right on time. I think that's a way to put a little added pressure on the client and to show readiness to work, but that's ok. .My area is an 18x18' concrete patio with no rebarb under. The crew demolished without a jack hammer and cleaned it up really nicely.
  At first they said it would take today and tomorrow, but that was probably so he could get the highest price possible. It only took a few hours and half of the time they chatted, especially while John went to drop off the first load of hauling. He originally wanted to charge me $750 but he agreed on $650. I still feel it was very high. I wouldn't use him again simply for this over-estimating, though he and his team were courteous and got the job done adequately.

  I was pleased with their work again; this is the second time I've used them. They were prompt, neat and professional. Albert and his wife Maria took extra care to make sure our 4" thick concrete driveway was protected from the heavy dumpster and truck used to haul away the debris. They consulted with me on the best time to start to avoid disturbing the neighbors. To protect a large oak tree's roots, we agreed to avoid using heavy equipment, so they used jackhammers and manual labor only. If I were to do it again, I would double check the leftover dirt piles to make sure the workers don't cover up debris or tree trunks that need to go. I would use Albert again, no question.

  Jackson's Restoration & Repair LLC

  Found in the hauling section of the local Nickel ads. Sean and company arrived as scheduled with a truck and 16' trailer in tow, and assisted us in clearing the debris and materials left behind by the previous owner of the house (already piled in the backyard). We literally filled the trailer and the truck with tons of stuff for the dump. Sean charged me exactly what he said he would even though there was more than what was originally thought. It went much faster with the extra hands and would have cost more to rent a dumpster.

  Good Bye Junk

  He was very accommodating and worked around my schedule. He came on very short notice. He did everything I asked him to do and did it well. He is also very pleasant and even sent me a thank you card! I am going to have him come in and clean my garage later. I would use him again. It was well worth the price.
