    Starting from the initial meeting regarding the remodeling of our house all the way to the completion of the project, Adam at Rosegold Builders was perfect at communication, expertise and timing. Adam was very personable and great in providing solutions to problems and issues. The in-house designer was extremely resourceful��� each time we had any concern, she was right there to provide the right answer for our questions. Adam made sure to email us on a daily basis to let us know what is scheduled for the next day and what is going to be finish. The workers on the other hand, took care of our home as their own and left our house each day after cleaning the work spaces. We are very happy that we hired Adam and Rosegold Builders for our amazing remodeling project that was finished on time and within our budget. We would hire them again for any future remodeling projects and we would recommend them to our family and friends.

    Airpads Inc
    I signed a 2-year agreement with Airpads starting October 1, 2016. The first year everything was fine. Rental disbursements were sent on time and communication was great. Unfortunately, things began to go south February of this year. First, I was told that instead of being paid on the 5th of every month, like the contract stated, I would be paid on the 15th. I was disappointed that Airpads made this unilateral decision to alter the terms of the contract without any discussion. I didn���t make any complaints because I had been happy with their service up that point. A couple weeks later I received an email stating they are altering my payment agreement, which would pay me less money. The email said it was effective the next month. I told them I did not agree to this and even spoke to the CEO, Anthony Leonardo. I made it clear I wanted to stick to our agreement on the contract and there was no benefit for me to take less money. He said he would get back to me. I didn���t hear back from him (this would be a reoccurring theme). The next month my payment was substantially less. I contacted Airpads several times saying I had not agreed to take a pay cut and that I wanted to continue to be paid the monthly rate that was agreed to on our contract. This is when they stopped responding to my emails. I would send about 2-3 emails a week asking when I would be paid in full and would only receive a response about a twice a month. All Airpads responses would disregard my questions/concerns and tell me that I had already been paid or that they would ���look into it���. During this same time period I my monthly payments started showing up towards the very end of the month, not on the 15th. This cycle of being paid at the end of the month, not being paid the full amount, and no one responding to my emails went on for a few months. There is an agreement in our contract that allows either party to terminate immediately if there is a breech. Because it is 100% clear that Airpads violated our contract many times, I could have walked away and left with the burden of relocating all their customers. Even though I had an awful experience, I am not a spiteful person and understand that they are a struggling company, so I still gave them 60 days��� notice. I advised them that I would finish at the end of our 2-year contract October 2018. The CEO, Anthony Leonardo, personally responded to me and agreed it would be best for us to part at that time. Unfortunately, Airpads took this opportunity to screw me again. Fast forward to Thanksgiving, I have switched management companies and Airdpads still refuses to pay me the rent they collected from my property in September. I continue to email them 2-3 times a week and occasionally get an email back saying they are ���looking into it��� and if they do get around to paying me they will charge relocation costs that they ineptly booked with the full knowledge that I was already leaving. At this point I have no other recourse than to pursue legal action. Unfortunately, the 3k+ they owe me will be about the cost of legal fees. I have email documentation and bank statements to support every claim I have made in this review. I would not like for anyone to go through this same experience so If you would like to hear more about it feel free to reach out and I can elaborate.

    Recently I completed my bathroom and kitchen renovation with Green Star . These guys were extremely friendly, professional, showed up every day very early ( sometimes to early:), and finished working around 5 or 6 pm. They passed all inspections required by the city on the first try, which saved us a lot of time. The job was completed promptly and in accordance to what we envisioned. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a reliable, detailed oriented contractor.

    We have a 100 yr old house where plumbing, gas and sewer line problems that all happened at the same time. Big Blue came out immediately to assess the problems and provide us with estimates. They provided different solutions, patiently walking us through the reasons. They were very aware of the budget constraints and worked through less expensive solutions until we were able to correct the problems. The also addressed areas that were auxiliary to the problems, fixing or improving these areas at no additional costs. They also cleaned up the mess other plumbers from a previous job 2 years ago left behind in the crawl space under our house. The crews were courteous, polite, informative and their attention to detail was thorough, often going above and beyond. The office support staff is to be commended as well. They are courteous, informative and always pleasant. The added bonus is the constant updates via email and messaging regarding estimated ETA for appointments, estimates or any incidental paperwork.

    Gary came to our house right when he said he would. After taking a quick look at our fridge he explained what the problem was, how he was going to fix it and how much it was going to cost. While he was working he explained what he was doing and gave some tips on how to make our refrigerator last longer. He was also kind to my preschool daughter, who wanted to help ���� Gary was quick, efficient, professional and experienced. We���re very happy we called him.

    They were available earlier, so called. They got there about when they said they would (traffic) and were flexible on the cost. Another company wasn't able to make "on the spot" decisions and so missed out on the business. They may not have gotten as much as they wanted, but were very accommodating and quick. Staff of 3. I now have a whole space in my garage clear of... anything! :-)

    Alan Hutchings Installation
    Initial planning and bid put together and approved, but took a while to get project aligned for installation due to various conflicts (both on his end and mine). After 3 reschedules, finally got work started. Install work quality of his 2 workers was okay (I gave 'B' rating, but really like a B-, due to decisions which impacted the install time frame). Initially 2 days planned, became 4 days due to correcting and fixing problems created by them during install. Could've done some things better (protect existing owner equipment and property from installation debris/dust, asked for more specific site location information about speaker placement to avoid wrong location placement into ceiling beams, etc). The second of the two workers was clearly less experienced, although hard working. Alan had to come by to help with the speaker wiring install due to complexities in dropping the line from the ceiling to the wall. Equipment was ordered as expected, got free upgrades to speakers due to distributor issues, so am happy with this upgrade. Overall, fairly well done install. Awaiting screen install and programming, but consider this install complete for purposes of providing the review.

    Sustainable Roofing Solutions
    I am very satisfied with the work SRS did for me. I lived in another house for 30 years, I had two roofs installed and they lasted approximately 15 years each. This is the first time I used SRS at my current residence and I have a feeling this roof may last twice as long as the last ones. The previous roofers were in and out in about a couple of weeks more or less. I really didn���t know what was going on then except that the new roof looked good. I paid for a new roof and that is what I got. The SRS job took longer to finish, but it seems I got more value for what I spent with their detailing. They did extra work tearing off additional layers of roofing, they completed extensive dry rot and carpentry work at the roof perimeter that was needed and installed extra flashings to prolong the life of some adjacent beams. The thing that separates SRS from the previous roofers is that Kasra, the owner of SRS, would explain everything to me daily on his job. He worked side by side with the roofers to insure everything was done correctly. He would regularly point out areas of concern on my roof. I could take care of it now, do it myself, hire them to do it or just catch it later. He also stated the pros and cons of delaying the work. My feeling is this is my house and I want to know how and when to take care of it. The best suggestion he made was to install a skylight in the garage and a sun tunnel in the darkest area of the house. In hindsight, I should have gotten these two items done years ago and now I cannot live without having free solar lighting. If you want a roofer who can explain everything to you when necessary then Sustainable Roofing Solutions is who you want for your next roofing job.

    Superior Plumbing & Drain Cleaning Services
    The house had a gas leak, which was pinpointed by PG&E, who shut off the main line.  I called several companies, who could not come for days.  Superior sent Vincent out within two hours.  He was professional and friendly, carefully explaining what he was going to do.  He provided me with the cost, and gave me my Angieslist discount on the final paperwork.  He relit all the appliances, and went back and double checked to make sure they all stayed on.  A great end to a not so good day.  Thank you Vincent and Superior Plumbing!  Definitely will call them if I need to be rescued again.  Christina Pence
