    1/3 Rented from manny a few months ago and everything went smoothly. The website was easy to use. Manny kept up communication throughout the whole rental process. He texted when he was on his way to drop off and to pick up. When he dropped off the rentals he even wiped it down to make sure everything was clean and the equipment was in great shape. I will definitely use manny again for any of my future party needs.

    Ordered a large slide jumper for the family get together. Kids stayed busy all day! Manny delivered and showed up a couple hours before the party started. He also cleaned the jumper right there. Ordering online was super easy, will definitely order again.

    Moving is painful. Moving in December is absurd. Renovation is excruciating. The combination really stinks. Joanna came up with solutions when no other rental box company could/would. They deliver with a smile – extend your rental period – and extend it again with sympathy and a smile. They pick up with a smile. They really do bring humanity to a process so often void of it. And – with these boxes stored in a vintage garage during 3 months of record rain – we had only one little casualty – one book got wet. And it wasn’t such a great book anyway. If you are looking for one little glimmer of positivity in what can be a dreary process – call this company.

    TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE My fiancé placed an order with Ricky's Party Rental for an event in April. The order total was around $700, which she paid in full. Obviously, given the situation with COVID-19, our event can no longer proceed. I understand that all businesses (especially the smaller ones) are and will be having difficult times weathering such uncertain economic conditions. However, to restrict refunding a customer their money for services that the business--Ricky's Party Rental--has yet to render, is absolutely unacceptable. She was told by a young woman on the phone (Jessica) that if an order is canceled, the deposit is forfeited. Fair, I understand. But if you pay for the future services not yet delivered, AND you pay in full, they WILL NOT refund any of the excess money over the deposit. They won't just keep the deposit ($350 for orders over $500, which ours was), they'll keep the entire paid-in-full amount and give you what she called a "rain check" for up to one year to use their services. My fiancé explicitly said, "So, if I no longer want these services after the initial event is canceled, you get to just keep the entire amount of money I paid if I don't use the services within one year?" Jessica replied, "Yes, that's why, if I were you, I'd schedule an event." Well, of course you would! You're just giving away your hard-earned money. And what if the COVID-19 situation extends beyond one year? What then? Jessica also alluded to another customer who called and was also trying to get a refund and mentioned that the customer had an even larger order than ours and that they were not refunding him/her any money either. This is an absolutely disgusting business practice and is intolerable. We will pursue legal action against this business and will never refer anyone here and actively steer people away. This policy ALWAYS puts the customer at a disadvantage; why would anyone ever pay in full, then, if the moment one pays in full, you have no chance of ever seeing that money again? Keeping the deposit is understandable, but to keep everything if one pays in full is outright embezzlement. I'm going to the BBB and submitting a complaint, and I'm going to the Fontana City Hall and reporting these unfair business practices as well.

    .I'd read an article about PiggyBoxes months back, long before I even imagined I'd be buying a new house and moving this year.  I immediately thought of them when I realized how much stuff I needed to pack.  I ordered their 3 bedroom package, with 75 Piggyboxes and 2 wardrobe boxes.  There was a bit of a web-site glitch the night I ordered, but the owner, Todd, called me in the morning to confirm the details.  We set a time for him to deliver the boxes.  He arrived and put the boxes where we wanted them.  He was short one of the two dollies for the boxes, and offered an extra wardrobe instead. Included in the delivery are labels on a roll, and a wad of zip ties.  You can also order packing paper and other supplies from them.  Packing each box was as simple as fill with stuff, slap on a label, close the flaps, and stack the box.  Our 8 year old helped pack his room, and had a great time loading up the totes with his toys, books, and clothes.  The boxes worked equally well in the kitchen and garage.  They're large enough to hold most household items.  My all in one printer was the on thing that was just a little too big. It was absolutely great not to have to track down or buy boxes, or to spend all that time fiddling with tape. Renting these boxes is a great idea if you'd otherwise buy cardboard boxes.  We have a large collection of books, and we ordered the appropriate cardboard boxes to pack those.  A Piggybox stuffed with books would be too heavy When our movers arrived, they were impressed with the Piggyboxes and the wardrobe boxes.  They could see how much easier it was going to make their day.  At the end of the day, they said it was one of their easier moves, even though we were still packing when they got there.  We had enough boxes to just keep tossing stuff in.  It definitely saved us money on our move. I only gave a "B" for professionalism, because Piggyboxes is a small operation.  The owner is perfectly professional and organized, but I hope people understand there isn't a 24 hour call center (although live chat is frequently available at the web site) and there's just one guy out delivering and picking up the boxes.  The one downside to the boxes was that the cleaning agent used to sanitize the boxes brings a strong scent into your house.  It wasn't quite as notable by the time we'd filled the boxes and moved.  If you have  a problem with scented cleaners, consider storing the boxes outside.  They were perfectly clean with no dust or debris noted in any box.
