Cabinet Making reviews in Agua Dulce

  • We had a great experience with Fine builders. The designer of Fine builders helped us to design an amazing new kitchen with extra storage (which was our main demand). Our kitchen was quite a challenge because of the considering the size of the existing kitchen (15’x10’). His design was great and he was able to include everything we wanted including additional extra space that we didn’t thought he could include. We had a previous design and few estimates from another construction company but it was real bad and expensive. Nir, who managed this whole job, helped the workers to install the cabinets, counter top, appliances and paint. He was a real professional person and he solved all the problems that we had (such as the uneven walls). Daniel was also educated me about how to read this type of plans, which really came in handy for understanding the work process of the contractor's people. Most of all, Nir was responsive to my questions and concerns throughout the many months it took (we also gave them to do the popcorn removal on ceilings throughout the house). I highly recommend this company.

  • I wrote a review of my experience with Steve Kane of Rans Group on 3/03/2014. Fast forward 2 years later and I called Steve to mention that a couple of our cabinet hinges seemed off. He was not happy to hear that and insisted that they ALL be replaced. He went to his supplier to let then know he wasn't happy with the product and proceeded to order new hinges for the entire job he had completed 2 years ago. All this was completed at no cost to us !! His integrity is a rarity!! I would not hesitate to recommend him as he is a perfectionist at his craft.

  • We had a leak in our master bathroom which damaged our sub flooring and cabinets.  The water leaked into our kitchen and damaged cabinets as well.  Our master bathroom sub-flooring was removed due to saturation.  We contacted a couple of contractors and Danny gave us a fair bid.  He suggested that we strongly consider new cabinets in the kitchen because ours were 14 years old and we had a preexisting issue with our granite counter top.  We chose to follow Danny's suggestion and go for the full remodel for both kitchen and bath.  Demo was very fast and the workers left the house clean. Danny's crews were prompt and friendly on days they were scheduled to work. Tile work was excellent!  Gabi's crew did a fine job dealing with some very difficult tile pieces.  Cuts were well done and the overall look is great!
We also had our banisters and two cabinets re-stained.  We did away with the light oak color and went with a darker color. They turned out beautiful.
We signed off on the project today and we are pleased with the final product for both kitchen and bath.
    Thank you :)

  • We contacted Woodmaster Kitchen & Bath Back in February
of 2014 and immediately felt that the estimate woodmaster submitted was
superior since it covered absolutely everything.
The process of designing and selecting materials was
pleasant and stress free, the work progress, quality and finishes are
remarkable, attention to detail and functionality were also exceptional and can
be contributed to there experience, knowledge and in-house services like
    Interior Design, Drafting & Architectural.
The custom matching cabinetry throughout the home, which we
were able to see built in their shop, tied in the old with the new and our home
appreciated in value so we were able to refinance and lower our monthly
    payments significantly.
We enjoy and get compliments on our house daily and
recommended woodmaster to all our friends and family. It took 2 months to plan
and 3 months to accomplish but we are very happy. Thank you guys you changed
    our life.

  • Great job! We now have an excellent, spacious new kitchen that looks terriffic and is much more functional than the 1960s era original. Tony is a great guy to work with, always keeps in contact (he's old school, uses his phone to talk not text, and always responds promptly to voicemail). Tony's crew did the main construction work. For specialist work such as plumbing, tiling, and drywall, TME subcontracts to excellent local tradesmen he's been working with for years. Their skill really shows with neat workmanship, no botched jobs. Tiling in particular is perfectly done with level installation and even grout lines, thank you Scott and Alfonso. We had some delays along the way with permits and a counter material shortage, outside TME's control. TME kept things moving right along, and was flexible with rescheduling their work once those were resolved. All in all, a very successful project. You won't regret using TME for your construction needs.

  • Tony and crew were great to work with through the process. The kitchen is done now and everything looks great. They are easy to work with and adapted to changes as they came. We are already planning our next project with TME.

  • I recently had my kitchen remodeled and a friend recommended LCS Remodeling. They were very professional and honest.  They did a beautiful kitchen remodel in a very short time. Lee gave us great advice and ideas when needed, and everything came through on time and on budget. His pricing is honest and fair for excellent work.  He doesn't surprise you with any additional costs.  He'll even work with you to figure out cost effective solutions to keep your budget in line. I will definitely use LCS Remodeling forany & all future projects.

  • Earlier this summer we found a leaky hot water valve under our kitchen sink which is in our kitchen island.  It caused a lot of water damage in the cabinets and the drywall, where we also found mold.  We called a local company to come a clean up the area.  The island is only about 7 feet long, with a small shelf unit on the far left, then a small cupboard, the kitchen sink cupboard, and then the dishwasher which sits on the right end of the island.  The clean up company had to remove all of the cabinets.  The only thing left standing was the far left and far right walls that supported the granite countertop and sink.  Once the area was cleaned, we called a couple of people including Tony / TME to come look at the job and give us a bid for reconstruction.  Tony's bid had the best price and he had the best reviews on Angie's List so we went with him.
Like previous reviews have stated, Tony is extremely busy, because he is known for doing quality work at a fair price and has high ratings on Angies List.  Because TME is so busy, going through email or the office phone can take a little time to get set up, but once we had Tony signed on and were in touch with him directly the communication was VERY good!  He responded quickly with texts and phone calls, and even though he is busy, he took time to educate us on every step of the process so we could make informed decisions, and he made sure we were ALL on the same page with price, design and process before moving forward.
Tony does NOT take short cuts.  He prides himself on providing high quality work and doing things right the first time, because according to him, if he doesn't do it right the first time then he inevitably has to come back and fix it which wastes his time.  And using inferior products only makes him look bad.  This is why people love him!  You don't get hundreds of "A" rated reviews on Angie's List for nothing.  Tony is also a straight shooter.  He doesn't mince words.  He tells you exactly what he thinks and is extremely honest in his opinion.  Tony treated us very fairly and never once did we feel like he was trying to take advatage of us or gouge us.  He actually had the best bid of everyone who looked at the project.  He believes VERY strongly in treating his customers with respect and fairness.  Unlike so many contractors in the business who are slime balls, and look for any and every opportunity to swindle their customers, Tony is a refreshing change of pace.  He is the real deal, and we always felt that we were in good hands.
We ran into a couple of kinks because our plumbing was all messed up, but Tony's guys took care of the issues and made things even better than before.  We also made a couple of changes with the cabinets which caused our finish date to be extended by a week, but all of the guys were very accommodating and helped get things just the way we wanted.
Since we had to basically rebuild our entire island and our granite had to be replaced, we deepened our counter space by 6 inches, which meant we had to have custom cabinets made that would reach to the back wall.  We also extended the left end of the counter 6 inches so that we could rebuild a new shelf unit that was deep enough to hold large cookbooks.  Tony's cabinet guy came and took all the measurements and helped us with the new design of the bookshelf and they did a fantastic job on the install.  It all turned out beautifully with very high quality on the workmanship!
New drywall, trim and paint also had to be done around the pony wall that the island is attached to.  The joints are tight, and the painting looks great with nice straight lines.  Honestly, it looks even better than before.
In replacing the granite countertop, Tony helped us find a slab that matches the rest of our kitchen perfectly.  Tony's granite guys did a beautiful job in cutting and installing the new countertop.  We LOVE it!  Tony says he only works with the best people in their field, and it shows in the end product.  Everyone on his team was professional, courteous, and punctual.  Yet another reason why Tony is so good at what he does.  He surrounds himself with the best.
If there was ever a picky customer, it is ME.  I am extremely detail oriented, am an artist, and have done a lot of my own painting and trim and crown molding work.   So because I have such a keen eye for detail it's really hard for me to NOT notice flaws, mistakes or imperfections. I know what it takes to make finish work look good and I can sometimes make contractors a little crazy with how nit picky I can be. So for me to say that all of the work done by Tony and his team looked beautiful and had high quality workmanship, is practically a miracle.  For Tony, it's par for the course.
Our new kitchen island looks amazing and is everything we wanted it to be.  We are grateful to Tony for being such a stand up guy, for being extremely organized, honest, always on time, professional, for providing quality workmanship, for having fair and competitive pricing, for being patient and informative in dealing with our concerns, for being accommodating, for listening to our requests and working hard to provide us exactly what we asked for.  We will hire him again in a flash the next time we need ANYTHING done in our home, and we will recommend him to everyone we know.

  • When we bought our home, my wife wanted her closet re done. We hired Adjustable Closet and Cabinets to do the work. They did such a great job that we had them come and do several other jobs in our home. They were very professional, clean, and the price was right. The impressive part for me (since I am a contractor) was the ability to overcome the issues we had with our home. Come to find out, our walls in the closet were uneven and they custom made the cabinets on the spot as well as the cabinet they converted from where a trash compactor was. In my opinion, it's easy when the job is easy but the difference between average contractors and GREAT contractors is how do they overcome difficult situations. These guys are true professionals and I recommend them to anyone needing closet and cabinet work. Denny Hill

  • I had been told and therefore assumed a kitchen remodel would be very costly and very lengthy.  With Tony and his crew it was neither.  I thought the bid for the work, not counting the cost of the appliances, cabinets, sink and fixtures, counter tops, paint, and backsplash tiles (we went shopping for and bought all of these), was very good.  Tony was also very good at listening to our design and material thoughts before giving us his opinions and various options.  Most surprising to us, and ultimately saving us a lot of money, was his suggestion of using IKEA for the cabinets.  We had visions of particle board crap and an allen wrench to put it together.  But after visiting both a couple custom cabinet makers and then IKEA, we were convenienced.  IKEA had a nice selection, the quality was nearly as good, the price was way better, and because they had everything in stock, it allowed Tony and his crew to get the job done 4-6 weeks sooner than waiting for custom cabinets.  The price alone sold us, but having the job done that much sooner was just as big.

Once I OKed the bid they were here bright and early two or three days later, as agreed upon, and set right to work.  I was impressed that their first order of business was to make sure everything outside of their work area was protected including floors and walls.  Everyone in the TME crew was friendly and respectful to us and our home.  The job progressed steadily with virtually no idle periods where I was left wondering where they were.  In fact, they had to wait on us a couple times while we shopped for things to be installed.  And all through the process Tony made sure we were happy with the work being done and if there was anything else they could do.

All told it was a fabulous job and my wife and I enjoy showing it off to friends and family.  We are going to have our master bath remodeled this summer and TME will be the first company I call.  I'm sure I'll get another bid or two, but I almost hate to waste another company's time.  I can't imagine we won't be going with TME.
