  • Called and without seeing him they made an appointment, met him day of surgery, no bedside manner whatsoever, never spoke with him after other than that day, "ok, went well." Stomach issues never addressed and have gone on to a new physician and happy.

  • The last time we saw her, both my husband and I got sick while visiting Thailand. She fit us in even though her schedule was full and sent us off to the hospital for lots of blood work. It ended up being a bacterial thing that we probably got from eating shellfish that was not washed in clean water. She got us all set up with an antibiotic and we were on the mend in a few days.

  • Very good doctor, but sometimes tough to communicate with.  He knows what he is talking about, but he is a man of few words, unless you keep asking questions.  He diagnosed my friend's breast cancer in the early stages.  Go to him for a good doctor, but not for warm fuzzies.

  • Dr. Goel is an outstanding cardiologist who saved my husband's life on April 13th of 2011 after my husband suffered a heart attack. Dr. Goel took the more conservative route of putting stents in blocked arteries rather than immediately perform open-heart surgery. Dr. Goel is kind, caring, very personable and takes as much time as you need for him to explain things to you. We were extremely lucky that Dr. Goel was the cardiologist on-call the day I brought my husband into the Emergency Room. He has taken excellent care of my husband and just recently put another stent in a blocked artery to keep the blood flowing! I was recently diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and am now also a patient of Dr. Goel's and I could not be in better hands.

  • His staff were never particularly nice or competent. Prior to the procedure and post opp, he never returned my calls in a timely manner. Usually it took 2 - 3 days even though the staff guaranteed I would receive a call back that same day. I tried multiple times, ultimately giving up. We had questions before the operation regarding the billing and healing process that were never adequately answered. Furthermore, and most importantly, we were told our son would take 2-3 days most to heal and would not have too much discomfort. Based on this we decided we did not need to wait until spring or summer break to have the procedure. It's been 10 days and my son is still home from school. The first week he was in a lot of pain. There was a discrepancy in how to care for the area in the literature they provided and from what was told to us directly by the staff when we checked out. Because of the lack of response, I simply stopped trying, preferring more to do the post op check up and get the additional pain meds and all other questions answered through our pediatrician. The pediatrician says it is healing well, it is just taking a lot longer. I think this doctor is competent enough but I would not recommend him for pediatric surgery or to anyone who expects the extra effort or care.

  • .We find them to generally be very good.  I appreciate having all manner
of care under one roof.  I can't imagine home some of the complex care
received by wife could have been arranged in any thing but an HMO.
There have been a few frustrating experiences, but they have been manageable.
Kaiser keeps trying to improve by changing things.  They don't always help, but they learn and change again.  The switch to a totally digital record system has been very impressive.  The staff seems to have been trained well and accepts the new system.
We will be staying with Kaiser.

  • He performed some unique testing to assess my overall health, prescribed several vitamin supplements and immune boosters and I was feeling great in two days. Dr. Hirt is a smart guy with excellent diagnostic skills.

  • Dr Hannah Grossman is an excellent doctor. Sometimes it is almost impossible to get an appointment right away, and need to wait couple weeks as she is pretty busy and popular. She is simple and communicates well. My whole family (of course the female only) have been going to her office for years.

  • Dr. Wiese saw me promptly, asked me questions and listened carefully to my responses. After an examination, she recommended a ct scan to make sure she wasn't missing anything. I am totally pleased with my experience and would recommend Dr. Wiese to anyone who wants a caring, warm, friendly, and efficient doctor.

  • I'm an 59 year old avid cyclist in good physical condition. I suffered a heart attack about a year ago due to a rupture of plague buildup in a coronary artery while cycling.. I had 2 stents placed and during the procedure, no other evidence of narrowing of any other arteries was found. I went to doctor Loh hoping for advice on how to reduce any future heart attack risk as naturally as possible. Even though I had already reduced by LDL to 105 and increased my HDL to 62 without drugs and was still working to better that I finally agreed to on statins after much pressure and fear mongering from Dr. Loh. After only 4 weeks I had to go off statins because severe muscle pain in my chest muscles. He did not warn me about the possibilities of this serious side effect or any other side effects. When I ask him why he said nothing is answer was that he doesn't  like to talk to patients about side effects because then they will think they are having side effects.
It's been almost three months and the pain is still with me, The pain is 50% better then it was during the first week of the onset of pain when I had to take pain killers to be able to sleep. It still get worse sometimes depending on my activity level. I now know (no thanks to Dr. Loh) that muscle damage is a common and under reported side effect that can become serious enough in rare cases to cause death. Recovery time can take months and sometimes years and may result in permanent damage.
Dr. Loh will tell you that he does research for the drug companies and that most of patients are part of some research he does. If you decide to Dr Loh be warned that he is VERY pro drug. There are other doctors who are much better and take a balanced approach to heart care which includes lifestyle, diet as well as the appropriate use of drugs.
Dr. Loh knows only one treatment...DRUGS.
