Overall, I am happy with their services. They are probably not as high as some of the satellite services. They are higher than some other cable service provider, but overall they are better. They answered my query right away.

We haven't had any problems with Cox Communications, they have been excellent. They have been very helpful, if there is a problem, they have always walked us through it and corrected it and if it cannot be corrected, then they send out someone and everyone who has come has been very nice and helpful and very polite.

When I called back and connected with a live customer service rep--the self-serve, automated option is lengthy, irritating, and did not apply to my brand of modem--he very quickly diagnosed the problem. Later, after I had purchased a new modem and my screen prompted me to call my Internet service provider, another rep quickly and easily configured my new modem. I have had uninterrupted, seamless Internet connection ever since, despite a severe storm yesterday.

3Packet was available to help on short notice. The services had to be performed after hours remotely. Our school district was ahead of schedule opening a new building and we were able to get phones on line. The building could not be occupied with out phones for emergency purposes. Our new building is in a remote area without any other voice communications. No cell phone service is available in the area. Mitesh was very knowledgable and made sure we had all the information needed to pass on to the users.

Things didn't go as planned. I've got a flat roof house and the crawl space wasn't adequate to work in. So they said they could cut holes in the wall and ceiling and run the wire, but I would have to get a dry-waller to repair the holes. They could see I wasn't to happy with this, but I really want to work from home, so I said o.k.. I'm sorry I didn't write down the names of the two guys, because they were very helpful. Anyway 1 of them asked if I could run 2 modems off 1 line. I called the phone co, no. Then he asked if I could set up my company computer as a wireless connection, no. Then he asked if I could turn my desktop to wireless and use the modem on the work computer? Brilliant! I called maker of my computer and yes that was easy. So they installed the phone line, on an outside wall just where I wanted it. This took 3 hrs, from start to finish, and then they wouldn't take money until the cost was recalculated. It cost me $92.00 after they gave me a 20% discount. I'm very pleased.

We switched from a company we were very dissatisfied with and are now using Cox and are very happy with them now.  We have the bundle for all three services.  They have a good tech support for their services.  The internet doesn't have issues like the other company we were using.  We were using a satellite company and the internet was always down.  It isn't this way with Cox Cable.

    Ooma Inc
Switched from Vontage at $39/month to OOMA at 3.60/month.  There is an one time charge for the box (about $149) it is placed between the internet modem and the PC (or router if you have one.)  It was a snap to install and there are detailed instructions and well as phone support.  All US calls are free.  If you want international you prepay (I understand it is very reasonable but I have no firsthand knowledge.)  We have been using it for over 6 months and it is crystal clear and never a problem.  (Of course if the internet is down so is your phone service.)  If you are paying more for a land line try this one, you will not be disappointed.

The Westinghouse "glitched" and no one (including Westinghouse) could solve it over the phone (after talking to four "experts"), but I finally figured it out myself.  To be perfectly honest, they did figure out another problem promptly.

They are good.  I have not had any problems with them.  They deal with all the problems through computers, so they don’t have to come down.  When I initially set up the connection I had a direct line for assistance which was good.

    Cox Communications
Cox Communications has always been very easy to work with, from online shopping for the best program and rate for me, initial connections of all 3 services, to repair and maintenance services. Their representatives have been punctual and professional.
