  • I called at 8:00am and they were able to fit me in the same day. They had a cancellation so they called and said they would be there early. I met the tech and within about 30 seconds he had it narrowed down to the heater or the timer. He had the part on his truck for my 18year old GE refrigerator. He took the freezer compartment completely apart, defrosted the coils, replaced the heater and reassembled everything. The whole thing took about an hour. It cost about $300 with my Angie's list discount. I thought the price was a little high, but I might be out of touch with prices. They certainly deserve to make top dollar for the job they did but a new side by side is $1200, so is it worth 25% of a new one??? Time will tell.

  • Michael came earlier than we had scheduled and took apart the hot water faucet.  There were problems isolating the water to the faucet but he had the necessary tools and know how to get the water isolated. The faucet was in excess of 30 years old and took some considerable effort to get the cartridge removed but Michael got it done. The cartridge is old and he had to go to a parts store to get a replacement part and then come back and put it back together.  He did the whole job in less than an hour even with the travel time.  
    Michael was very courteous and let me know the issues as they arose so that I could understand how the job was progressing. I appreciate the effort and time he put into the job and gave us back a good faucet.

  • Our refrigerator was no longer cooling although the fan was running.  We called this "A" rated provider from Angie's list thinking we might get push back because we live so far outside of Phoenix (Waddell area).  Since we called mid day on a Friday, we were also prepared to hear that it would be several days before we could get service if they were prepared to come to our area.  They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.  They indicated they had another service call near us and could be there between 3:00-5:00 that same day which was perfect.  The tech arrived just after 3:00.  He checked the compressor to verify that was okay and then worked through the parts in a very methodical order.  He quickly identified the part that needed to be replaced and had it in his truck.  This was a "one and done" service call that was complete in 1/2 hour.  The tech was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.  We have placed this provider on our preferred list so we are ready when the next appliance has issues.

  • Very professional and quick service! I had called another company and they were about to charge me almost twice as much as Cooler Tymes did. The other company also told me they were going to be there between 10 and 2 and they did not show up until almost 4. With Cooler Tymes, I called and he was out here before 10 am. Fast and reliable company. Also, very good competitive pricing!  I will never call anyone else when my air conditioning is acting up now. I would recommend this company to everyone!

  • Mike, owner of Cooler Tymes,  is the ultimate professional.  He's knowledgeable, efficient, honest, friendly and quick, not to mention, REASONABLE IN PRICING.  I've recommended him to a number of immediate neighbors and I recommend him here to everyone needing work on their air conditioning.  While he was working on our unit, a next-door neighbor popped his head over our fence just to say "Hi" to Mike.  He had spotted the Cooler Tymes truck at our place.  The neighbor had high praise for the work Cooler Tymes did for him also.  I can't recommend any company or service any higher.   Don't think twice about calling.  You'll be pleased too.

  • Mike showed up on time and was very professional he had to replace a part that failed during his inspection his knowledge and explanations about every step that he was performing was excellent. We would definitely use him again for our AC needs. Thank you very much.

  • Our upstairs A/C went out just after we moved into our home.  We had purchased a home warranty through OneGuard and called them to figure out what to do.  Thank goodness it was covered.  They set us up with a repair company and they were out the next day.  The part we needed was expensive and took several days to come in.  When it came it the company came back and installed it.  They said the price of just the part was $2800.  I only paid $55.  What a blessing.  We were so glad we purchased the home warranty.  Because of this experience, we also purchased another warranty for a rental home - also with OneGuard.

  • Wright returned call within 10 minutes. Discussed the problem I was having with washer. It kept filling with water and had over flow. Found restriction in water level hose and cleared it. Seemed to be ok next couple loads but acted up again so he didn't think it was valve but the computer board. He had to make a second trip out and he was correct in his diagnosis. Darn computer board.. Replaced it and it is now good as new. I appreciate he just didn't rush to change computer board because it is expensive. I appreciate his professionalism. I wish all the service people I hire we're like him. I have all ready referred him.. Felt he was very honest and soooo glad I have someone I trust now to come out to the house when I need an appliance repair done.

  • On 5/15/13 I noticed water in the bottom of the inside of my refrigerator.  Thinking it was a fluke I cleaned it but it returned the next day and on Friday the 17th it was bad so I checked Angies lIst and found a repairman who listed working Saturday and called.  He said he had a job in my area and would arrive soon, which he did.  Howard diagnosed the problem, repaired the machine and added a wire to keep the problem from recurring.  He was pleasant and professional.

  • I called on Thursday and got an appointment for Friday morning.  I was told the diagnostic charge and that it would be applied to the repair work if I chose to have it done.  The repairman called me 30 minutes before he arrived.  He diagnosed the problem.  Gave me an estimate and suggested that it would be cheaper to buy a new more efficient dishwasher since a new motor and labor costs would cost more.
