Phillip is a very polite guy and will promise you the moon, then not deliver. We built a 1200 sq ft metal building. The floor had cracked terribly and we had an issue where one of the joists didn't match up so they tack welded it. We were surprised to see it passed inspection and contacted the inspector. Inspectors do their inspections via skype/FaceTime and said he was not shown that particular area. Ya think?? We sent pics and the inspection was changed to failed. As it was the whole time we worked with Phillip, we then had a hard time getting him to come back and finish the job. The Registrar of Contractors was mostly useless because he hadn't officially abandoned.

Not pleasent - I should have used someone else. My list of grievances is so extensive and long, but basically the owner of this company has not honored the contract by not completing the work. He told me to file a complaint and after tossing some unprofessional slang at me and saying he was done; he then hung up the phone. I took a risk hiring this company and will now be working to move on. The company resume showed a primary experience working under low income government housing contracts. I should have known better and am a fool for having expected anything more then meeting this standard of house. Example: what we expected as normal and a usual part of what would seem standard in other $300,000+ homes became upgrades at almost every request. It appears to me that he met certain pre-determined milestones in the construction and then proceeded to moved on to other projects, leaving this house in the hands of sub-contractors. He would then complain about the sub-contractors work, while not being around to ensure their quality. I feel that I could have had a better home built for a lot less, a substantial lesser amount of money. I made an extreme mistake and will now have to live with this mistake for a long time. Also, I am now continually doing rework and repairs while filing a complaint(s) with professional organizations. His professionalism and desire to do a good job for you comes on as convincing at first, but it's not long before things change and reality hits, even several of his sub-contractors see it. Working government low income housing projects may allow a builder to do quick and easy work for a good amount of financial reward; unfortunately, my account was not funded by tax payers and it cost me a life time of savings and investment dollars. Anyway, I'm not the first; I'm pretty sure about this. Beware.

They're doing a really nice work so far. He's been very good about planning, he's very informative and he's experienced and giving a lot of good suggestions. We've been in communication a lot about planning and doing the whole thing. I had researched other companies to have them do my home but I had narrowed in down into 3 people and I've invited them in the house at different times to kind of do a walk around and give me their thoughts and estimate. After that this guy from Rincon Valley emerges the best. This guy had better options that's why he won the work. I think their price was pretty fair. He'd be the first guy I would call if I need their kind of service they offer.

We like the floor plan for our purpose and lifestyle. However, the reality of our salesman's "communication issues" as Pluto calls it, (I would say, his "lies"), are still biting us in the backside and we do not feel happy about it at all. The warranty work is spotty. Some things are done quick and well, others aren't. We've had to rip out the entire kitchen and rebuild it due to a misplaced island, and Pluto has not offered to compensate us at all. They showed up the day after all the deposits and contracts were made and said they'd fix it. Yeah, and do they have the 20 grand we'd already paid out? Nope. It takes effort in the long run. Right now, I would say I wish I hadn't bought with Pluto, but I am not sure who is out there that is much better! I recommend you use a realtor and a lawyer to review everything with Pluto. And DOCUMENT everything they say for warranty and such like kind issues! Russ Kincaide A+, L. Roberts was A+.

The worst house buying experience ever. This experience did not turn out to be the way it should be, a happy and exciting experience. It was and still is stressful, frustrating and disappointing. We bought an existing house before and that only had 1 item that needed to be fixed. Will definitely not buy a house from this builder again. Will make sure the house is in perfect condition on the pre-walk so this doesn't happen again. I don't wish this on anyone.
