    Surgery went well, performed as an outpatient at Del Webb hospital. total time in hospital (4) four hours. I would love to say success .......BUT..... didn't happen. It is now 2 1/2 months later, leg, back, foot Worse than before surgery. Now I have problems in my other leg and foot......I have gone back to the Core 3 times after surgery, and their solution......injections in my back ??? I have had these injections in the past, and they provide little help. There was a silver lining to my problems, my doctor.... Doctor Abrams was super, and I really like the guy, but he works for the Core. This is not my first roundup with the Core, I have other doctors with the Core.......Dr. Lucas.....Super< Super, Becky Mapes Super and of course their PA s Super The bad guys here The Core !! Great doctors The Core horrible, horrible. They the Core are in it for the money, nothing else. They prebook appointments like the airlines.. Good luck if you can get an appointment under 2 months in advance, even after surgery, I had to wait weeks to get a follow up appt. Again, this is not my first go-around with the core, same same every time, wait weeks or months to get to see your doctor, and you get the special Core treatment......BUT they are just the exact opposite, when collecting any money you owe. I think they learned their tactics from the Gestpho of WW2. They will grind you for every penny you owe, Before you get a billing statement. IF you are considering using the Core, take a visit to their offices before you sign up, and you now know where the term Cattle Call origionated. If you read this please consider what Ive said, and save yourself a lot of misery Whoops, almost forgot......this little adventure to the hospital set me back over $ 41,000, yes you reading correctly Fourty one thousand dollars.

    How did it go? It didn't "go" at all. They don't accept Medicare or UnitedHealth health insurances. Anyone having these insurances, or several other insurance types for that matter, are sadly out of luck.

    After giving me a hearing test in 2010, a Metro Hearing audiologis in Glendale, Arizona told me I need hearing aids. I bought one, but noticed no difference in my hearing. He assured me that without it, my hearing would get worse faster. Two years later he tried to sell me new, improved aids for both ears (the price came down when I informed him it was several hundred dollars less expensive from another firm). I decided to get a second opinion (actual three more opinions). All three said I was not yet ready for a hearing aid. I just had my hearing retested by yet another audiologist. She said I was still not yet ready for a hearing aid. When I told her that Metro Hearing had me wearing one for two years, 7 years ago, she expressed surprise. Take home message: if possible, get tested by an audiologist that does not sell hearing aids. If you can't, at least get a second (or third) opinion. Buyer beware.

    It did NOT go well.  As I am a brand new resident of Arizona, I chose Dr. Dekutoski based on his review on the Core Institute site and the reviews of Core Institute in general on Angie's List.  What I did not know was that Dr. Dekutoski is a spinal surgeon only--if you don't need surgery, do not see Dr. Dekutoski.  He entered the room, introduced himself, and told us he was scheduled for surgery in a very brief time frame.  He spent maybe 10 minutes with me, said he could not help me, and told me to see other specialists at Core--no references or names, just specialties.  The next step was left to me--and as a new resident, I was choosing those specialists blindly.  I would not see Dr. Dekutoski again.
    The good news is that he told me that I should see a hip specialist and a pain specialist.  On my own, I chose those specialists from the staff at Core Institute, as well as a shoulder specialist, and have been EXTREMELY pleased with two of the three.  I never actually met the pain specialist, but rather his physician's assistant who was very professional and whom I will see again as needed.  I have reviewed all 3 of those doctors--Dr. Warner, Dr. Brown and Dr. Feldman, separately on Angie's List. 
    The entire staff at Core Institute is extremely professional and very courteous with the unfortunate exception of my first encounter.  In general, this is a place that sees hundreds of patients daily.  They are very efficient at getting patients signed in and making sure all your information--including your bill status--is up to date.  Then you wait, beeper in hand, for your doctor to be available.  There is a "wait" board to tell you how far behind each physician is.  I have now had perhaps 10 visits to various specialists at Core Institute.  My wait time has varied from 10 minutes to nearly an hour.  Bring your own entertainment.  They ARE worth the wait.  Once inside the doctor's room, wait time is usually 10-15 minutes.  Scheduling next appointments is relatively quick.  All staff are courteous, making the waiting bearable.  Your patience will be rewarded with good medical care.

    He is an excellent doctor. He is our family doctor. His staff is really really nice, very helpful, friendly and professional. The doctor is very through. He is down to earth and knows the right questions to ask and we can talk to him. He is really good.

    I am a 66 year old female soon to be 67.  I went to see Dr. Angelchik in January for a consultation regarding a facelift and browlift as I was very unhappy with how I felt my face was looking - very old with heavy jowls and a forehead that put deep wrinkles between my eyes and eyebrows that dropped down over my lids.  I was so very excited at the initial consultation after expressing my concerns that he said "I can help you."  I set up surgery a month later.  It has been 5 weeks since the surgery and I cannot believe how great I look and feel.  Each morning when I get up, I look in the mirror and am so grateful for finding Dr. Angelchik.  He is an extremely talented, compassionate, caring surgeon.  I did not even know until I went to the initial appointment that he was voted Best Doctor by his peers several years in a row.  Everything went so well, it looks likes at least 10 -15 years were taken off my appearance.  I was actually carded today at a store to prove I am a senior citizen.  That alone made my year.  I feel so fortunate that I chose Dr. Angelchik for my surgery.  His aftercare is extraordinary.  Highly, highly recommend.

    Dr. Doan is my physician. She is a wonderful physician. The staff is all terrific and friendly. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful. The waiting room is very spacious, neat, clean and they have reading material. I had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen.

    The audiologist we met with was totally inept.  I had called the office to schedule an appointment and asked if they dealt and repaired our type of hearing aid.  Having been assured they are quite familiar with the manufacturer, I made the appt.  Not only did he say he never worked on a hearing aid of our type (a widely used brand, Phonak) but he didn't even know the office software.  He was unable to pull my name up (I had been there before when it was under different ownership), was unable to get any program  working and had to phone someone for help.  After being there for an hour we were anxious to just get out! 

    He said he was unable to remove wax from our ears because it was "too deep".  He told my husband that they both had the same type of hearing loss, but then he later said he (the "audiologist")  didn't have a hearing loss - a lie within 15 minutes.  He was unable to reprogram my hearing aid because of his lack of familiarity with his own software. 

    Turns out, all he wanted to do was sell us new hearing aids, not offer ANY service.

    This practice was known as Audioear when I had last been there.  The change of ownership has made the practice unacceptable.

    Beware, they have several locations: Surprise, Sun City, and one other.

    We got, however, what we paid - NOTHING

    .I see one of the doctors at this medical center. His quality of care is generally good, however, oftentimes he runs late due to his working at the adjacent hospital.
    I am having difficulty with a medication and my insurance. Rather than his office being pro-active in this process, I have been trying to work as an intermediary. After a week calling his office daily for over a week, the person handling my prescription authorization called me. I was advised that my prescription was number 300 and she would get to it when she can. I asked for an estimate in time...none was offered, in fact the response was rude.
