They do a really good job and I will use them again. They know what to go through to get the parts. Me and my husband was very impressed. They were very nice and the owner was a nice guy and he sent licensed repair person to do the job.

I was pleased to only be charged 1 service charge for the one service call although two appliances were involved.. And when I requested more than just a temporary fix, the company complied without argument. The parts had to be ordered but I've been assured the job will be completed within the week.

Scheduled appointment on 2/23 for 9 a.m - 1 p.m. and they didn't show up on time. We had to call them to see if they were coming. When they did, the repair was going to cost $400. We scheduled an appointment to come back so they could order the part for Friday the next week. We had to rearrange our schedules to make sure we were home. Friday when he was suppose to come out, we get a call they don't have the part. They can come on Saturday morning. When he showed up Saturday morning, he pulled out the oven and microwave. They said they couldn't fix it because of not being enough wire. We MUST call an electrician. I was a bit frustrated at that point and asked him wasn't that his job to figure this out before hand. The tech was so rude and said you don't think I don't have rent to pay. We called the electrician out. The electric company wanted to have them come out the same time. We tried several times for them to come. They NEVER returned our calls back. (Which actually was a blessing anyways.) When the electrician came out, we told him what the issue was, he looked at it and said there is enough wiring. He pulled it out. He suggested we get another person to come out because it was obvious they didn't know what they were doing. We decided after such poor service and their recommendation to do it. We had another company come out and they looked it. The problem was not what Manny Appliance Repair said and it was only $99 to fix!

It went great. Their repairman Ed (Edward on the shirt) called the day before, asked me about the problem, gave me a fair idea of the repair cost, and asked me if it would better if I canceled the service call and save the $40 cost. I decided to have him come. Showed up on time. Figured out the basic problem, but said it may be disguising a second level and even more expensive problem. I agreed the cost of repair was more than a 20 year old washer warranted. So while he put the washer back together, he gave me good advice on brands and models. The sales guy at our trusted appliance store gave me the same rundown without prompting later in the day. All for the $40 service charge. Integrity, good service, and a fair price.

    My Appliance Guy
I noticed on Saturday that my refrigerator seemed to be warm. My Maytag refrigerator has never operated well. The defrost cycle doesn't work the way it should. On Monday morning, around 8 a.m., I called My Appliance Guy and spoke to Mario. I was given a time that morning of 9 to 12. Bill arrived at 9:30. He knew what he was doing. He disassembled the freezer area and defrosted the evaporator coils which were caked in ice. He ran diagnostics on all the components of the system and determined that one of them was the possible cause of the problem. He replaced a part called a Bi Metal fuse. He also indicated that there might be a need to replace the Jazz Board, which is an electronic control board that controls the defrost cycle on my Maytag model, but we will see how this new part works for now. I am happy with this and after doing some research have learned that the Jazz Board is a common cause of this problem. When Bill left, my refrigerator was getting the cold air that had been blocked. I may decide to have him come back and replace the Jazz Board. His estimate for the part he replaced and the Jazz Board and his labor was a little over $300. I paid $155 for his visit today, and will pay the difference if I do replace the Jazz Board. My Appliance Guy's warranty is 90 days parts and labor. I am a very satisfied customer and will definitely call them for all my appliance repairs in the future.

Not well. Spent way to much time cleaning the glass. He really did not know what was wrong with the stove burner, ice maker or garbage disposal. My handy man would have done better. I would not call this company again. I told home to stop and leave.

On second trip oven thermostat installed, but installer left with oven inoperative. Installer explained to spouse that the problem was likely in the electrical box outside and beyond the scope of his work. Later, cabinet installer connected the loose wire under the cook top in less than five minutes. The oven has worked properly since. Request for refund met with excuses and argument. Doubt that oven thermostat was necessary on 18 month old oven.

    Beyer Appliance Service Inc
My washing machine wasnt draining clothes thoroughly and would stop spinning mid-cycle though you could hear the motor working. I contacted my home warranty company who sent out a technician from Beyer. They first came on December 21st. Technician said he couldnt really find a problem with the motor but he cleared out the drain. The very next load was still overly wet when it stopped but at least it didnt freeze in the spin cycle. However, on December 28th it stopped working all-together, wouldnt even fill with water. I called to have them fix it again and they couldnt even come out to look at it for 5 days after my call. When he did come out on January 3rd he said he couldnt fix it without taking it into the shop but they would probably be able to pick it up the next day. When I called the office, she said they wouldnt be able to pick it up until Monday (Jan 8th)and it would be 3-5 business days after they pick it up for it to be finished. Well.... I called on the 12th to check the progress and they are waiting for a part. She said it will PROBABLY be back next week. When I told her that both the office when they scheduled the pick up AND the technician said 3-5 business days, her response was well thats only if the part we needed was local, yours isnt. In none of my other communications with this company was that EVER specified or I would have just skipped the warranty company and had another repair shop fix it or even just purchased a new one. If it was my company and I knew a customer had been without a washing machine for 2+weeks, I would have paid to have that part expedited and the repair done in the time frame that was quoted to the customer. From looking at other reviews on this page, this isnt a one-time occurrence. Wish I wouldve checked reviews BEFORE I let this company touch my washing machine!

    Sears Appliance Repair
Repair went well. The cost was highly exaggerated for a fan to be replaced : $ 347. I was also pushed to take the annual repair coverage plan at roughly $ 50.00 / month. Please, start to sell quality again, and people will not have to buy expensive extended guarantee coverages. Of course, this will drastically reduce the Sears income and profit !!

    Choice Home Warranty
Technician determined due to age of refrigerator the compressor could not be repaired. Technician was very prompt and professional letting me know exactly what was wrong with the refrigerator. However, Choice Warranty decided to give me a buy out of only $450.00. Old refrigerator was a side by side Amana with indoor water and ice. Choice Warranty did not replace my old refrigerator with something comparable as I thought the warranty was going to do. The $450 buy out was hardly enough to buy a basic top freezer model. If I wanted to by a similar side by side I had to pay the difference out of my pocket.
