    We have three cellphones, and two of them have internet. We have checked out the competition, but unfortunately they don't offer a lot of service area. We live in a distant city, and in Arizona there are a lot of rural areas, and a lot of these providers don't offer good signal in the rural areas. Verizon does credit me for any dropped calls that I may incur. I would recommend them to friends and family members. They answer my questions really well, and if I order a phone, they ship it on the second day, their punctuality is excellent.

    I called first and the employee was very corteous and answered all of my questions in a friendly manner. When I went into the store, they were able to give me exactly what I had inquired about and I got a great deal on the cell phone I bought. I was very satisfied.

    I have wi fi from them.  I have my own router.  It is satisfactory.  It beats other services.  It is not top rate in my opinion.

    I went in the store to get a new phone. I already knew which phone I wanted, the HTC One Max, which they had in stock. I used one of the other lines on my account to do the upgrade,which had the unlimited data plan on it and I did not want to lose it. The rep that was helping me advised me that the line would lose the data plan, I was upset to hear this but as a sort of compromise they said that I would be able to have 6 gb for $30 instead of going down to 2 gb for $30. I was glad that they were able to work with me and I was happy to be able to walk out with the phone of my choice.

    We have 6 devices on our Verizon account and pay around $350.00 monthly for service.  About 3 months ago my wife and I bought 2 new Samsung Galaxy 5 phones and a Samsung tablet at a Verizon store.  Since then I have had problems with my battery lasting through the day (~7:00 AM to ~ 11:00 PM).  I don't use any streaming services such as Pandora or any videos.  My wife's phone has a problem where the screen goes dark before she can get her fingerprints in or use her alternative password even though the screen timeout is set at 10 minutes.   So today we decide to visit the Verizon store in Palms Shopping center in Yuma to try and get help with these issues.  When we walk in the greeter (?) Paul  ask how he could help us so I ask about the poor battery life on my phone.  He, without looking at my phone, said all smart phones Verizon sells have battery lives that "suck".  His own smart phone will only last 6 hours without charging.  I said that didn't match with the claims that the Verizon salesman had made selling the phone or the specs Samsung made about the phone.  He again said all smartphone battery life suck and that's just the way it is.  I ask him to put that in writing and sign it which he refused to do.   So I'm not impressed so far but we ask about the problem with my wife's phone.  He said that was a probably a problem with the latest Samsung update and that customers should never download updates because they always cause problems.  Again I ask him to put that writing and sign which he again refused.   Well since Paul seemed so sure his answers to my concerns were appropriate I suggested he and I walk around the store and share his comments with some of the customers considering buying phones and devices.   Paul refused to do so and went to another Verizon rep, Ernesto, for help.   Ernesto who is ~6 foot and maybe 280 had about the same responses to our complaints as Paul and said I shouldn't be condescending in asking for Verizon reps to say things they refuse to put in writing and sign.  I ask to see the specs for the Samsung Galaxy 5 in reference to battery life and help in checking my phone to see what the problem with battery life could be.  Ernesto said he didn't have Samsung"elves" in the back and couldn't help me. And I"M being CONDESCENDING? At this point he started telling me  I would be thrown out of the store.  I said go ahead.  He didn't but said he would call the police.  I said go ahead but again he didn't.   So in steps another Verizon with his name Marco on a tag saying manager.  He is most intent on "throwing me out", "escorting me out", calling the police but the closest he got was walking toward the door like I was a leash trained dog that was just going to follow.  When I told him i was not leaving without force he finally gave me a number to call Samsung.  I tried 6 times while in the store and got the same "all circuits are busy" recording each time.  Maybe the Samsung elves have the lines tied up??? With more persuading he printed the specs for my phone.  Quoting now: Usage time - up to 27 hours, Standby time - up to 20 days.  So my phone is charged every night to 100% in the morning.  I get about 3-4 calls daily and average talk time is ~3 minutes.  I mostly use phone as a calculator at work maybe once an hour for one - two minutes.  No streaming music or video.  So whats going on here Marco.  "Maybe we can order you a new battery, the phone is in warranty.  And whats wrong with my wife's phone Marco?  "Sounds like she needs a new phone". So after an hour of insults, threats, ignorance, rudeness, and indifference to our concerns now you want to do something?.  Every Verizon employee says call Samsung.  Here's the number.  What do we get?   "all circuits are busy. I have been with Verizon for more than 10 years here in Yuma.  These devices are represented as the best there is when your buying and that they suck when you have a problem.  Go call the manufacture!  When is the behavior appropriate for any business?  My impression has always been that Verizon had the best coverage in this area but I don;t think the memory of this experience will allow me to make another $350 monthly payment to Verizon.  Thinking T Mobile looking pretty good right now.
