    Arizona Comfort Systems
Excellent! Arizona Comfort Systems always does a tremendous job. We have been with them for more than 15 years, and we highly recommend this exceptional company. They have a great team...from Service Coordinator Angela to the Service Manager Raymond, our services are always performed on time and with fast, efficient and accurate maintenance and/or repairs. If you are smart, you'll go with ACS!

    Baker's Mobile Aire Inc
Efficient, thorough check-up. Most of all, did not try to "up-sell" or use fear tactics. As repeat and Angie customer, gave me 10% off. To note, my run capacitor slightly out of tolerance, showed me capacitance reading, but did not pressure me to act now.

    Arizona Comfort Systems
AZ Comfort Systems is easy to work with. They have a number of option type contracts to get the services you need. You opt into the service desired for the year and then they call you and remind you to set up the appt. The cost is very reasonable and the service is excellent. We have the twice year maintence plan.

The serviceman did a great job TILL he told me a part had to be replaced on the FAN unit in the furnace. Said it would damage the fan etc if not replaced. So I told him to fix it - it was $155 - told me that's with WARRANTY and 1yr guarantee. I looked up the part on INTERNET and it turns out the part I can get from WALMART for $4.60 - I should of said no way - and did the replacement myself. But wanted to prove that price gouging is common with services in this town. My Pastor had his AC serviced - a relay - they charged 305$ SO I requested my OLD PART BACK and a refund of $155 or I will deal with them LEGALLY - This is B.S. Charging me that much for a $ 4.60 PART is absolutely dishonest. etc. I wont be dealing with them again - AM tired of getting ripped off by outrageous parts costs etc. IN this town. 3x so far. I have ALL the documents for my LAWYER to see - so I better get some response or I will file a complaint - and file with the BBB as well. Heres PROOF of part cost at Walmart [*** Link removed ***]

Angie called to remind me it was time for service. The service was performed in a professional manner; he called that due to an office meeting he would be a few minutes late, however, he arrived on time and conducted a thorough exam of my system; explained his findings; he was polite and had a very pleasant personality.

Very well. One supervisor and one trainee. I have had this company before to do both the spring A/C tune up/check and the fall furnace tune up/check. Have always been happy with the service. This year there was a coupon on Angie's List which I bought which made the service a really good deal.

Berg's Heating & Air Conditioning Co
Berg sent a friendly, competent, professional technician the next business day. In less than one hour he recharged the freon, cleaned and serviced the unit, and inspected the entire system. Cost was reasonable ($183.00), and unit has functioned perfectly since the service call. Highly recommended.

Mountain View Air Conditioning & Heating, LLC
Very, very well. I called Mountain View after dealing with another A/C company and the difference was night and day. The owner, Art Trujillo, provided a very prompt estimate on the cost and at a lower cost than the original company I was dealing with. He was very prompt and professional, as were his technicians that actually did the replacement work. This is an EXCELLENT company to work with for A/C work!

    ONE HOur air-conditioning and heating
    1) My wife's first contact with the office was an unpleasant experience. She found the phone receptionist to be very irritating and rude. In addition she told her that we wanted an estimate done for the cost of the work. But the actual work was performed instead without our consent. 2) When I had to call back because our heat pump was not fixed on the first visit, I found the phone receptionist to be very argumentative and treated me as an adversary and not a customer. 3) Although the repair tech was very pleasant and appeared knowledgeable, his approach was more of replacing parts and not really diagnosing the problem. That is a very expensive approach: a) First visit - Replaced 2 parts and cleaned system. This was done without our approval. We feel this was the phone receptionists fault for not informing the repair tech that all we wanted was an estimate. But since the system was supposed to be fixed we paid the $675. As it turns out, the system was not fixed. Only the secondary heat strip had been fixed and not the primary heat. b) Second visit - He determined there was a bad relay which had to be ordered for an additional cost of $253. c) Third visit - The new relay did not fix the system and he determined the main controller board was bad. That would be over $1000 to replace and we had already paid them $928. 4) They provided an estimate to completely replace the system. But the above events caused me to start looking elsewhere for replacement estimates. I found One Hour's r estimate to be very high even after the "credit" for work performed. It was several thousand dollars cheaper to have a different company do the replacement work. Plus I did not have any desire to deal with One Hour any further, nor did I have any confidence that they would perform the work correctly.

Mountain View Air Conditioning & Heating, LLC
Their bid was a little lower than other A/C companies in the area so I hired them. The install went fairly well, but I have had numerous issues over the last couple years that make me wonder about their business practices and quality of equipment. The A/C unit is less than three years old and has already been repaired twice. And it is one of the loudest A/C units I have ever heard. I'm sure something is getting reday to break again. It bangs loud enough to wake you up. Yeah I should have had them put the unit further away from the bedroom, but the equipment really should not make that much noise. Hate to go to the expense, but the next time it breaks down I will have someone else replace it with a different brand. I had a Bryant gas heater that worked perfectly for over 20 years so I thought it would be good, but I suggest staying away from their A/C units. The other issue is what I feel is padding the bills. I had a fan motor replaced and got charged for 2 people at $100 an hour. There is no way it takes two people to replace the fan motor. I was not home when the work was done so I can't say how many people showed up. When I asked the tech about that issue when he came to service it next he ignored my question and said he needed to get something from his truck. Price might be cheaper in the beginning, but I have a feeling its costing me a fair amount more over time.
